+ -1 moreI had seen her work at a friend's home in Marin a few years ago and had always wanted to do something similar. I finally contacted Amy this past Fall and was immediately certain that she was the only person I would want to work with! When she arrived at our home I was so impressed by her friendly and professional demeanor. Her portfolio just blew me away!!! I myself can't measure or draw to save my life, but Amy was able to understand my vision and interpret it into the most gorgeous designs! The installation went so smoothly and she was there for us every step of the way. I regularly receive compliments on all of the beautiful projects she has done for us.
Description of Work: Amy the closet lady (A.K.A Closet Solutions) designed a gorgeous fireplace mantle, surrounding entertainment center and master closet in our home this past October. I will also be working with her to design my dream office and library this Spring!

+ -1 moreAmy always responds promptly to my requests and starts the jobs on time. If she's doing the work in the Bay Area, she controls everything and the projects are completed professionally, neatly and on time. Her installers are very creative and make sure everything is finished to the standards Amy sets - which are high. When she works on a property out of state for me, her project management skills make everything turn out the same way. Secretly, I wish she could handle all my out of state renovations, because I never have trouble when she's in charge.
Description of Work: Amy designed the space for my home office/second bedroom in my condo in Florida. This included the 2 closets, and the actual home office furniture and Murphy Bed, so that my home office looked professional when clients came and was comfortable when family or friends visited. She recommended all the materials, provided estimates and assisted in verifying the local contractor that we hired, knew what he was doing. She was always available to discuss things with him by phone and the project turned out great. It just goes to show you, that your vacation home can be designed where you live full time and the project can be managed from afar by contractors that you know from your full time residence. Amy has been doing closets, garages & home offices/bedrooms for me since 1988 - wow that's 20 years now - in a variety of homes I've owned. Her work is always the best!
