+ -1 moreI had a good experience with them. They were excellent and I would use them again. They gave my son what he wanted. We built an apartment over the garage and he wanted blinds. The lady that came out was very nice. She made good suggestions. Her name was Dedra Duggan. I think the price was very reasonable. They were ready when she said they would be. I intend to use them in the future.
Description of Work: I used Budget Blinds of San Leandro.

Description of Work: Order consisted of 2 large custom single "cell' shades for the living room and 1 small custom single "cell" shade for the kitchen installed. BB removed the old blinds and hardware and disposed of it for us.

+ -1 moreWith credit card, she asked for payment in full at time of order. 1 full month later, our blinds were avail. Was surprised that the installer was a subcontractor. Had to play phone tag & do serious negotiation in order to get a Sat. install date, but he was a nice guy arrived in a marked van & did quick, clean work. He provided verbal instructions on care & cleaning. He advised that our cell shades should not be cleaned with water a surprise as salesperson had said they could be washed in the bathtub. After the work was done, I checked the source where I got the company's name, and they are no longer listed there. The process left me a bit uncomfortable. Had a comparable estimate from another place whose process seemed more smooth, but we liked the cell & vertical selection here better, and of course we'll never know how good the other place really would've been. Bottom line: happy overall with the products & installation.
Description of Work: Consulted, procured & installed window coverings for 1 sliding patio door & 11 windows. 4 s-shaped textured vinyl verticals, 2 blackout cellular shades, 5 wood & 1 faux wood blinds. They don t have a showroom so she came to our house 3 different Saturdays the 1st time before we had the windows replaced, & she said she d have to come back after the new windows were in. 2nd time she measured, we picked specific coverings, & she gave us a 1 pg handwritten estimate. A month later when we called to make the purchase, she said that the free option we had written up was not avail (at any price) on the blinds we d had written up we d have to pick a premium wood (approx $200 more). This led to the 3rd visit. This time I got VERY specific about with way the verticals would face, open & be controlled. This was not detailed out in the 2nd visit, but with a corner install & directional s-shapes, I didn t want to be surprised by any non-spoken assumptions.
