Very disappointed with the service. They guy just walked around the house quickly for a quick look... don't even bother to climb into attic. And he left couple of mouse traps for us to use. That's it. The guy neither pointed out where could be the paths for the mouse to get into the house, nor did he provide any recommendations. What a waste of my $99. Will never use them again, and I will not recommend their service to any one.

It was nothing of the sort. I just paid $99 to be told I needed new attic insulation (mine was installed just 2 years ago). The inspector was very nice and professional, but simply confirmed what I already knew - that there were rats in my crawlspace. Apparently, unless I actually purchase new attic insulation, its not worth them solving any of my critter problems. Unlike others who made the mistake of taking up this offer, I didn't even receive the free traps! Angies List - you've really let us down with this one. Please tell me how to get my money back! I have enough problems with random companies trying to sell me things I don't need without paying for the privilege and losing two hours of my time in the process. Now I actually have to find a real contractor. Should I wait for the next disingenuous Angies List offer?

the gentleman who came for Atticare, German, was a very professional and nice person. He did what he was supposed to do. Which was pretty minimal. This was labeled as a Rodent Exclusion Package. Truth in advertising would have required it to be labeled, "we are going to come see if you have mice and if you do, we're going to give you 8 traps and say goodbye and good luck. We recommend that you call Clark Pest Control instead of us." This is another Angie's List "deal" that was anything but a deal. $89.00 for a guy to come to your house, look around, say, "Yup, you sure do have mice; here's 8 traps. Call a pest control company." is a rip-off not a deal. Atticare is seeking out new business for their attic insulation services and as soon as they realize you are not a potential customer for that service, they are outta there! they don't even come back to check the traps. 1. I knew i had mice, i showed German where all the droppings were. 2. i know how to buy those super cheap mice traps at the hardware store. they are about $1.00 each. they don't work after the first mouse gets trapped. 3. i needed the Rodent Exclusion Package!!!! I did not need to pay $89.00 to have someone tell me i had mice and give me 8 $1.00 traps. When i asked German to cover up the hole the mice were coming through. He said, "oh no, that's not included in the rodent exclusion package." German and his friend were there for 45 minutes. they were very nice, but this was another $89.00 down the toilet. all because of Angie's List. Angie's List this is the third time i have felt completely defrauded by these so called "deals". Screen these offers better. Three strikes and you're out. Cancel my subscription please. I'm done. I get better information for free on YELP.

The service was for the big deal was fine really, it was very well. The service was for 99 dollars and it was fine, absolutely very nice people, professional, nice dress and very clean. I will absolutely use them again in the future.

Both the inspector technician (Jonathan) and the work crew (led by Eddie) arrived promptly. Jonathan worked with us on cost to our satisfaction and explained the process in detail. Eddie's crew were meticulous and worked quickly, finishing the job in 5 hours. All were polite and focused on their respective tasks. Protective plastic was laid on the paths they walked within the house. After the job was completed, they carefully removed all traces of insulation from the house and yard. The house smelled pleasantly like an indoor swimming pool!

Initially there was some confusion, because I understood their services to include blow-in wall insulation. But once we determined that they do not do that sort of work, we settled one insulating the floor in a part of the house that is a little farther from the central heater than other parts. We scheduled the date, they arrived on time and did the work efficiently.

They found the hole that was impossible to see from the outside. it was inbetween the chimney and the foundation in a spot that was not visible unless you crawled into that corner of the foundation due to the angle. Its been 6 months and still no rats caught in my traps so the fix has stuck.

They looked at my attic and tried to sell $4,000 in clean out. Might be worthwhile, might do good work -- but I did not expect to pay for a sales call. No thanks!

There weren't any findings in the attic.

I was shocked at the charge for unwanted critters in our attic. The guys were nice, they evaluated and told me what had to be done due to rat dropping findings. I was not going to go into the attic for proof, so we took their word on it. They were courteous and nice, but since I am at their mercy and taking their word on it, I can only pray they gave me an honest price.

Dan came to my home today on time and set up several traps in my home. I am very happy with the work that was done and Dan was very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

See above The reason that I might use that provider in the future is that, despite their horrible service, it seems a worthwhile service at a fair price. I could find no one else who does this. I have no record of when the phone calls were.

After a minute in the attic he found feces (which I already knew) and began to offer his company's clean-up services. I asked him to finish the inspection and identify the entry points as the offer stated and he refused, saying it would be part of the clean-up. I again asked for the inspection part, wanting to get those closed up ASAP. He refused to continue and said he'd email an estimate once he left. I received an estimate within an hour for $4950.00. Far more than the $49 service I contacted Angie's list for. Yes, the work needs to be done. However, I didn't ask Attic Care to provide that - I just wanted the rodent inspection service. The estimate was for 2300 square feet when the actual attic space is 1800 square feet. On March 11th I sent an email asking for a follow-up; I asked them to revisit the quote given they over-estimated the size of the attic by about 30%. I have heard no reply yet. I would not recommend this service to others, nor will I use them for the clean-up and re-insulation required. Their professional services failed in two ways - first was the visit which was nothing but a sales call, and second was the lack of response to the request for requote. I received neither the service I paid for nor the offered service.

He did not do an inspection. I inquired about the rat droppings if they were new or old he stated that he was not an expert and coutd not comment. What a rip off. I would like a refund of my money. The worst experience I have had with Angies list. I'm afraid to use angie's list again.

They said they did not find any problem areas.

It turned out pretty well and they were very responsive. They came out, looked at the attic and showed me pictures. They cleaned out my attic and installed new insulation.

They recommended to clean the garage but waiting to go through our belongings. They were very good, helpful, and very nice.

This was somewhat disappointing. He was late and really did not give me very good suggestions. I may use again.

not great nice guys but didn't do what was advertised

I purchased the deal because of the offer to optionally clean for $49. This was not even an option. The whole point of the inspection was to sell the cleaning and lining of the space for thousands of dollars. When I showed the very nice and very polite person who did the inspection the "deal" and the terms for the cleaning, he said it was not available, but after I insisted, called the owner who offered me the thousands of dollars offer at a discount. If I only wanted the inspection, it may have been okay, but what I really wanted was the optional offer to vacuum and clean it and was willing to pay $98 for this. I was extremely upset that this offer was not available, but didn't write this review until I saw this offer repeated with the same sub-offer in my email today.

Explained to me what the issue was and gave me a really high quote of $5000.

I wouldn’t use their service again because they try to up sell. I just think they don’t have integrity.

Atticare: The team arrived on time and went immediately to work They inspected our attic, basement and around the outside of the house. Informed us our attic should be re-insulated and areas rodents may be entering. THey presented us with an estimate to do the work.

The tech Jonathan arrived on time to inspect and quote me, I liked the price and told them to do the work. They finished quite fast, but perhaps a bit too fast. Since when I went up later before my warranty was over to see if I had to make them come back, I still found droppings. When I emailed them about that I got no response. When I finally called in to hear what the deal was with their warranty and why they were so unresponsive, it was outside their warranty period, and they claim I had not yet send them anything earlier. It gets even worse, since on the contract the tech Jonathan had conveniently removed the portion about warranty so this is all pretty moot. I find this personally pretty bad business practice. So if you do want to use them, make sure your invoice does not have a dashed line where it should read about the warranty.
