Description of Work: They spent most of their time up selling me on a very expensive attic cleaning product. Showed up in a totally beat up van. Not professional-felt like I was dealing with a high-pressure car salesman.

Description of Work: I used the Angie's List coupon for Atticare because I had rats in my basement. The first man who came to assess was very friendly, helpful and professional. He seemed to understand the problem and the source of the problem pretty well. The men who actually came to do the work were friendly and helpful, also. They cleaned up pretty well, but I am still finding messy areas covered with fine dust and droppings in areas that they missed. However, it's been a few months and I haven't seen any rats or signs of rats!

Description of Work: It seems like a scam service where they come and inspect (do nothing to resolve the problem); but give you an estimate for more work that will cost $$$. I should have called Pets service control instead! Very disappointed how Angies list present these service to consumer.

Description of Work: Removed rodent traces and old insulation, rodent proofed, and installed new insulation in attic. Felt the price was a bit high for 795 sq. ft. Removed junk and rodent proofed crawlspace. Forgot their ladders, and luckily I had ones they could use.

Offered a hand written estimate, with promise to follow up with email generated official estimate - never received. Quote $3,100...Coupon cost $99.

Description of Work: Crawled under house. Said there was a dead rat. Needed to get someone else who was smaller to fit. Also, all kinds of other work needed ($1900). If we hurried, they could do that day since they were so busy. | |Big come on. The $49 coupon was "bait" to pitch a lot more stuff. Not anything really done.

Description of Work: Attic and crawl space inspection for rodents - |Although we didn't meed their services, they gave us good ideas to deal with our present problem of rats pooping outside out deck from the roof. They are not exterminators so do not perform those services but gave good advice on what type of services we should ask for from an actual exterminator.

Description of Work: Removed all insulation from attic and crawlspace, replaced. Unfortunately they removed the telephone lines... but did give me a break that covered half of it. they don't believe they did the damage. I actually thought I would try to remove insulation myself.... hahaha So happy I did not. They were very fast.

Description of Work: They cleaned my attic of all insulation. Then cleaned any rodent urine/droppings. Replaced insulation. Closed off any openings that would give rodent entry. They were polite and did a great job.

Description of Work: Left too much confusion. Could not integrate estimates or cause and effect with oily her professionals working on the house. Not willing to tell who did work but asking to repeat other very tecently done work .

Description of Work: they offered a thousand dollar discount if I would hire them the same day. this is always a red flag. at best it means overpriced and shoddy work, but it may indicate actual fraud.

Description of Work: they checked the amount of insullation in the attic and told us to call the company who did the job and inform them that is was insufficient and they needed to put in more insullation.

Description of Work: I used the Angie's List coupon for this inspection service. They came and did a thorough inspection of the crawlspace under the house (there is no attic). They found no dead rodents or evidence of any rodents, identified a few locations where rodents might be able to enter, and made recommendations for properly blocking these potential entry points.

Description of Work: I thought I had hired them to come out and figure out where rats were entering my house. In the end they gave me an extravagant quote about removing old insulation and a few long-gone rats, and re-insulating. As per helping with rat-proofing, they said they could do it for $300 or so, but wouldn't guarantee it. Seemed like a classic bait and switch.
