+ -1 moreI wasn't there at delivery, but I'm told the guys took out the old 20+ year old avocado colored washer and dryer, including removing the accordion doors in the laundry area, before installing the new ones. However, they didn't re-install the doors, which was disappointing. If they had, it would have impressed me since it would be going above and beyond. I know they probably were on a tight time line, so I'm not that upset about it (though it required a special trip out there to re-install the doors). Still, they offered satisfactory service and a better price than Sears (which had a lower price for the washer but higher price for the dryer so APD ended up being the best package.
Description of Work: Purchased a new GE washer and dryer over the phone and had it delivered to my grandparents' home. Salesman was helpful and not pushy at all. I told him their needs (2 person household, minimal loads) and that it was for my grandparents so he recommended a basic model that would meet their needs and minimize confusion.
