Description of Work: Did a tune-up/inspection and suggested additional services - had to reschedule a couple appointments, which was concerning but ultimately got its one - the tune up part was mostly changing the filter and water-hosing the outside unit with some minor dusting of some internal parts - seemed pretty basic - inspection was very comprehensive and he came back with suggestion for additional services that would have cost hundreds of dollars (mostly dusting/cleaning and replacing a few worn electrical parts. Overall a bit expensive for what was actually done but I didn't expect much more given my experience with Angie's list coupon prices/vendors (vendors seem to use the specials as bait for additional services to charge the fee Angie's list takes). For an inspection/opinion of your unit I think this vendor delivers - for a tune-up it was a bit lacking.

Description of Work: No service was performed. Technician said the AC was broken, refused to replace coolant and just recommended to replace AC unit.

Description of Work: They did a very good job, but felt the visit was more about trying to sell me additional work at ridiculous prices. One example was the capacitor. He removed the capacitor and measures the voltage and told me the reading was low. He quoted me $180 to replace the part. I said no as that seemed ridiculous. I then purchased the part on Amazon for $9.75 and it took me 2 minutes to install. If he had quoted $50 I probably would have done it, but $180 was ridiculous since he was already there and should not have charged a callout fee. Maybe that is the going rate, but seems way too high for such a cheap part and 2 minutes labor. |I would have rated this an overall A if it was not for this.

Description of Work: Bought an A/C tune up deal. they showed up on time, described the Job, and completed it to my satisfaction. Would use again.

Description of Work: Check up and fixed main drain pipe. | |Also suggested replacing a few parts, solenoid and trigger switch. Total cost was close to $500, I looked these parts up on the Internet and they cost about $75 to order the parts.

Description of Work: The original purchase of the $200 worth of services was to get a diagnostic completed on a roof water leak that was coming in from where a roof located A/C condenser was situated. Seaside diagnosed the issue as being with age of the platform that the A/C condenser sat on. They moved the condenser off its platform and then contracted with a roofing company to come out and rebuild the platform and the roof shingles around it. Then Seaside reinstalled the condenser in place along with performing some maintenance work on it. The whole job was completed over 3 days. Now we're ready for the coming el nino. It was a pleasure to work with Jim at Seaside.

Description of Work: Came out at our request to tune-up the air conditioner. Agee weeks later we called them back because the air conditioner wasn't working and they found we had a faulty converter which they replaced same day.

Description of Work: Tune-up, blower cap and installed thermostat (already had thermostat).

Description of Work: The technician was very knowledgeable and was able to identify the problem right away. He also took the time to confirm that everything else was working properly. We're very happy with the service.
