+ -1 moreDavid showed up quickly and dived right in. Once he figured out that the job would be relatively quick, he just went to work, and stayed until it was complete (about 8pm as it turned out). He worked patiently, and was willing to explain his steps. When confronted with a component of the system that was a bit out of date for the task (the system is reasonably high end but from 1999), he suggested several work-arounds, balancing his costs, new equipment costs, and expected quality of the outcome. Very professional, practical, and cost effective. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: When we moved into a new house recently, the previous owners had generously left behind the major elements of the entertainment system - DVD/CD with surround sound, speakers distributed around the house, etc. Simply put, I couldn't get it all to work, and not for lack of effort. On top of that we added a Comcast DVR system, and it was not performing up to expectations. I gave David a call to see if he could help sort this out, and as luck would have it he was able to show up in less than an hour. Within 90 minutes, he had the whole system working, and he left me with reasonable confidence that I actually know how it works. Oh, and he made the Comcast system work as well - modified some settings that the Comcast rep had neglected to address. Definitely worth his $100 fee.
