Description of Work: Joe and his crew were excellent from start to finish. We remodeled a kitchen, and added a master bathroom and office. They were on time, professional, clean and neat. Joe is knowledgable and had ideas that improved the project. The experience was perfect and I will hire him again and again.

The guy arrived late, really late. He provided some 3D models, but not the same as I had discussed with him during his visit. The price quote was way higher than anyone in the business. They just didn't care much I think.

A representative did contact me to reschedule but I was told the designer was not available and I would be meeting with the owner...which sounds great but I really wanted to sit with a designer not a general contractor. During my initial contact with the company, the person I talked to stated that they had an overwhelming responses to the deal. I got a sense that they were not prepared for this. Each time I was in contact with someone, they were very pleasant and professional. In the end, Angie's List contacted me to tell me that the company would not be able to honor coupon. I requested a refund.
Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for 3-D plans of my kitchen. I bought it for $59 and the original price was greater than $250. The company did contact me to set up an appointment, however, they had to reschedule due to a family tragedy with the designer.

I signed up for the Big Deal since I wanted a professional to sketch some 3D drawings for a new bathroom. I've done some of my own with SweetHome 3D but thought a pro would have a better idea as to what was possible or desired. The woman who followed up, Keren, was very nice and professional and we made an appointment. The designer, Mike, arrived on 8/7 within the scheduled time and was courteous, professional, and friendly. He heard my suggestion (a small bathroom off the master bedroom) and suggested some alternatives based on his experience including carving some closet space for a new bath or building a master bath off my living room, converting my living room into a bedroom, and remodeling my kitchen. Mike said he'd think about things and draw upon his experience to create plans that would make the most sense. I wasn't contacted for a while after that so on 8/26 I sent an email to ask where things stood with the 3D plans. Keren responded that she would contact Mike and then later sent back a reply from Mike saying he thought I was going to contact him. It was difficult discussing things through an intermediary. He also said "what 3D?" suggesting he didn't know the details of the Big Deal. What followed was an email exchange where Keren or Mike thought I wanted something more than plans for a bathroom addition. I think this is because Mike communicated his thoughts to Keren on the upselling plans which involved more than what the Big Deal provided. My opinion is that Mike was unaware of, and deviated from, the stipulations of the offer because, as I found out later, he is a subcontractor and not an employee of the company. After several emails back and forth Mike called me and said he'd draw up the plans. Unfortunately, while he took some measurements when he was here, he didn't save them. He had to use the drawings I made with SweetHome 3D to get the measurements. Less than an hour after I sent him my drawings, he sent me his. I wasn't satisfied with the drawings Mike provided since I felt like it was the same quality as what I came up with on my own. During the email exchange, Keren said that they just wanted to make me happy and another designer would complete the deal if Mike wasn't able to and I believe that to be true. My take away from this is to, in the future, not deal with subcontractors if the main business has no direct involvement other than as a facilitator (booking agency?). I also feel that the owner should have contacted me directly to sort things out rather than me having to email Mike through Keren. All in all, I suppose it was worth $59 to learn a lesson though I'd rather have some nice plans.

Like many others, I signed up for the Big Deal. Despite leaving my cell phone and email in the purchase message, I never received a response. I contacted Angie's List for help, who in turn requested they contact me. After several days and more attempts, the builder finally told Angie's List they sent a message to my Angie's List inbox. Although I was still unsure why they never contacted me directly, I eventually spoke with someone on 8/8. She was extremely pleasant and very honest by saying they were down one designer, but we made an appointment to have someone come to my house on 8/28. That was the last thing I heard from them. No confirmation, no reschedule, just a complete no-show. I called the only contact number I could find and despite my calls being during business hours, no one picked up the phone. There wasn't even an outgoing message - just a mailbox number. Like other reviewers, I fear this builder may be in a bad spot and cannot handle the volume that came with this offer. Still, it doesn't take much to make a phone call or to send an email to explain extenuating circumstances; the lack of this simple effort is unprofessional. I've asked Angie's List for a refund.

Nothing happened - Angie's list - please give me an update.
Description of Work: I simply received an email from Angie's list saying the provider couldn't provide the services. No explanation as to why - I don't know if they've gone out of business, or have too much business, but I think someone at Angie's list needs to do something about this.

I signed up for the coupon for a consultation to redesign my kitchen in the beginning of July as soon as it was listed. I contacted them by email and by phone several times. Their responses were very confused. No one seemed to be talking to each other. I was out of town for a family vacation and then on a work trip. They called me both times even though I had previously notified them that I would not be available. They were having problems meeting because a designer had personal problems and had left Truth Inc. We set up a "definite appointment" with the owner the second Saturday in August. The night before the "definite appointment" I was called and informed that they had lost their Workman's comp insurance and could not provide the service that I paid for. It seems as though the company was taken by surprise by the response to the coupon and just were not able to do the work. Originally, they sounded like a good company to go with but their lack of professionalism is not acceptable. It makes me reticent to use Angie's list in the future. I have not been contacted by Angie's List yet but I was told that I would get a credit from the purchase of the coupon to use on future purchases at Angie's list. Hmm! This is not exactly what I signed up for. If the contractor cannot provide the service, then money received needs to be refunded in full.
Description of Work: I received several phone calls and emails and many appointments for cancelled and rescheduled.

Joe and the Z7Builders crew did a wonderful job to remodel our house! We are thrilled and happy with the outcome. From our first meeting with Joe, we felt very comfortable with him and respected by him. He even fixed our bathroom light switch for free during his first estimate visit to our house. :) Compared to other contractors that we reached out to, Joe was not afraid to tackle some of the challenging tasks that we had throughout the house and that we originally started our plan with, even though they were not just the typical kitchen or bath remodel. As our comfort level with Joe grew, we expanded the scope of the work to include remodeling most of the interior of the house. One of Joe's biggest assets from our perspective is his resourcefulness and ability to come up with solutions despite challenges along the way. Here are some examples. Even though our underfloor was quite uneven, Joe and the team figured out how to lay our new tile seamlessly and evenly throughout it. To make our new staircase work, Joe used a special staining process that made the outcome both quite artistic and modern at the same time and we followed his recommendation to use solid oak wood steps for long-term durability. When bathroom exhaust fans that we ordered did not fit into the ceiling, Joe figured out an inventive way to make them work. Every house has its challenges and unexpected things that will come up during remodeling. Having a trusted and experienced contractor to address these challenges is an invaluable asset. Throughout the project, when the crew hit issues along the way, Joe never gave up and always found a way to make things work. Throughout the whole remodeling process, we always felt we could trust Joe to do thorough and high-quality work to reach the outcome that we were looking for. The only thing that we felt could have been done differently would have been for Joe to suggest to us that we move all of our items out of the house at the beginning of the project. Throughout the project, Joe and his crew had to spend quite a bit of time moving our items from room to room, which lengthened the duration of the project. But this should be easy to fix for anyone considering a large home remodel by moving things out of the house for temporary storage to help speed things up. Joe is very experienced, but also willing to listen to our specific demands, recommendations, and suggestions. At the same time, he's also not afraid to speak his mind based on his experience to help us understand how to make things work and last for a long time. He also gave us good suggestions on things that we haven't personally thought about, like adding a backsplash to our existing kitchen even though we didn't do kitchen remodeling during this remodeling project (he even gave us some money out of his pocket for the backsplash and offered to install it for free to persuade us to do it). Joe was also very flexible with the additional items that we added to the scope along the way. For example, we were very impressed with how well the crew laid the tile, installed lighting, and increased the opening to a very tight space under the staircase, adding a beautiful and functional new storage area to our house. Joe is also very responsive when we needed to talk or meet with him to discuss progress or make decisions along the way. Joe also went above and beyond to customize things for us. For example, we bought a media cabinet from IKEA that we wanted to put on the wall instead of sitting on the floor. The media cabinet looked nice and was within our price range, but didn't have venting or cabling setup in it. Joe spent many hours to customize the cabinet for us, carefully and patiently drilling holes in it to add ventilation and cable management features. He also came up with nice solutions to run media cables behind the wall that created a beautiful streamlined look, while fitting our budget and the peculiarities of our walls and support beams. Another important thing that we liked about working with Joe was his crew. They would always come in with a smile and positive energy, ready to work on our home. We love our new home and we would be happy to consider Joe and his crew for our future home remodeling projects. We have already highly recommended Joe to some of our neighbors and friends.
Description of Work: Remodeled most of the house, changed flooring on both floors, insulated all exterior walls, installed new staircase, smoothed block walls, painted the whole house, remodeled bathrooms, smoothed block walls, installed new water heater, installed Internet, TV, and phone wiring in all rooms, did electrical and plumbing improvements, installed new front door and new interior doors, installed recessed lighting and new light fixtures throughout the house, and made other improvements.

We needed a new office with more functionality as well as a new room for our growing girls. Joe, who we had already utilized for our extensive bathroom remodel came through once again. He provided valuable suggestions during our first walkthrough that we had not thought about. The time frame that we all agreed upon was 2 weeks which was strictly adhered to. If anything the question was posed if they could work a little longer to get certain projects done. This inquiry always happened in the most professional way as they never wanted to impose on us with two little girls. Joe and his team replaced the old carpet with new hardwood flooring, provided new and additonal electrical outlets (another undertaking as we have steel re-inforced concrete and not a wood structure), new ceiling lights with installation of a fan fixture and new paint. Knowing that we had to get a lot of new furniture he was ready to assist with vehicles to transport furniture pieces that could not be delivered and to assemble them. From Elfa shelving to cabinet, closet, desk, chair and bunkbed assembly, we simply didn't have to worry about it. In our mind there is not the question about whether we would use Joe again but rather when he can do our kitchen next. For us the biggest issue is that the work is done with craftsmen ship, care and consideration. He does it right and if it's not right he will fix it. As far as me and my husband are concerned, we have enough stress in our lives, home improvement and making our living surroundings nicer should not be one of them. Vera & Francis Schmidt
Description of Work: Joe assisted us in updating our office and girl's room. From new flooring, electrical, paint and new lighting, him and his crew were ready to tackle this.

Very dissatisfied with the service I received yesterday. I had asked for a personal reference for a customer that had used him specifically for cabinets. He because defensive and pushing me to take the deal/job. Demeaning towards me when I asked for the feedback. Then he said I'm not going to waste my time with you. I just wanted one reference. We waited for the reference that was coming back from his office. I asked contact, a business card. He went to the car and did not return. He left. Then later the guy that was here had his partner call and ask if wanted to go cabinet shopping without any apology or references. I declined. This was a very unprofessional and a horrible experience.

Response from Z7 Team Powered By First Stop Construction
Dear [member name removed], We had set a morning appointment and I (Mike) came out to see you, An appointment of this nature where we discuss the project and I produce a 3D sketch for the client usually takes 1.5 - 2 hours. I spent about 5 hrs at your home. It started off with you being more busy with your lovely dog (he IS really adorable) and the dog kept barking away. It took almost 2 hrs for you to finish clipping your dog's nails, trimming the hair between his paws and getting cuddly with him, during which I was there for you and trying to give you the attention and the service required by us. After 2 hours we finally got started when you asked me about references (which was a first - coming from Angie's list, a referral based site) I called the office about it and Keren called our past clients and left them a message to call us back; we will never give our clients information to anyone before asking for permission first. This was during the day (when people are at work) and we did not get an immediate answer from them - so I could not give you any at the time. I did explain that to you when I was there, but you are choosing to say that I did not want to give you any references- that is a false statement. You wanted it right there and then with complete disregard to privacy and we cannot agree to that because we respect our client's privacy, as we have respected yours if you were in their shoes. I sat with you and provided you with 3 (not just 1) different options and we came up with a brilliant design that's going to work best for your challenging space. You asked about hardwood flooring too and I started calculating the costs of doing the work based on the design we produced. After hearing the price of $42,000 to do the complete kitchen and new hardwood flooring throughout the ground floor, you seemed pleasantly surprised and asked if the painting is included in it too. I said "yes" and we went through the job description again. At that point (about 4 hours into it) you smiled, got up, got your checkbook and wrote a check - asking me who to make it out to. I was surprised at that and I asked you: "are you sure you want to do it"? and you said "yes". I did not apply any pressure on you at all. I didn't even ask if or when you wanted to start the job before you wrote the check yourself, unprompted. To say that I "pressured" you to do the work and was "demeaning" toward you is false and unfair. At that point I said ok, I will type up the detailed job description to amend to the contract. I said that it will take me about 10 min, and you said that's fine and that you will take your dog on a walk. You went on your walk, came back and we sat down. We went over the job description, you then had an issue with the cabinet allowance (it seemed cheaper then what Home Depot quoted you). I explained that Home Depot retails the cabinets to you - but I am a contractor that is getting wholesale price and this way "I am passing the savings on to you". I even opted to raise the cabinet allowance to the Home Depot quote (which is higher than the price I'm offering) to make you comfortable. You then asked that I take you shopping for cabinets before we have an agreement - I respectfully declined, explaining the need for some kind of commitment from you if you want me to work for you - it's only fair.. You then said that you are feeling uncomfortable and I immediately returned the check to you (before we signed anything). You then asked about the references again but the clients have not gotten back to us yet (probably still at work). At that point - 5 hrs later (after I have missed my next appointment) I left - telling you that once the clients get back to us we will forward their information to you should they agree (which they did not considering their reviews of their experience are posted on Angie's). We called a few times and left a message but you did not reply. After telling the story to Joe, he even called you himself to offer to take you cabinet shopping before we even have an agreement signed. You never answered or called back, declining the offer nonverbally. I felt quite disrespected as a person in the business of service giving. Being ignored for almost 2 hours by dog hair trimming and nail clipping is not my understanding of business interaction. So yes, after 5 hours I had to conclude that My time was being waisted thus needing to move on. After seeing that this will take a long time I still stayed with you to give you the design and 3d service as required by contract, in which Keren heavily requested Angie's to reimbursed you to show good faith due to your "horrible experience". Dearest [member name removed], We have all tried to please you and to make you happy.. between the 5 hours I've spent with you, keren in the office trying to get referral agreements and more, to Joe and his generosity with his time to shop with you (with no obligations to him), you have showed unwillingness to communicate and as a result making this company look irresponsible and incompetent. All of us here at Z7builders wish you the greatest of luck in all your endeavors and we hope that you will find the right fit for your remodeling projects. Because what counts at the end, is the smile on your face. Good luck to you :)

These guys are good. Really good. My husband and I started working with Joe back in February. They have exceeded our expectations in ways we didn't anticipate or realize were so important: they became our partners through what can be a fairly complex process. We wanted to build a deck on top of a 3-car garage, and then run a private stair case to it from an existing balcony. So we contacted Joe to discuss our project. From the very first meeting, when Joe's crew showed up 10 minutes early and waited outside for our appointment time (a consistent theme many months later), we knew we found our contractors. They explained their recommended approach, described different options that we could choose from, and described in detail the city codes that we needed to consider. They also spotted some potential issues with our existing construction and identified work-arounds. And they invited us to visit their current job sites to see their work. Within a few days, we received a detailed price quote, with all labor and materials clearly defined. Prices were quite reasonable. They also performed an analysis of our garage roof structure and determined that we didn't require additional bracing - shaving a large expected cost off of the project. They answered every request and worked with us to finalize our plans. Construction time: Their work was well planned, creatively designed, carefully orchestrated, and meticulously performed - and came out perfect. And we noticed several touches we didn't expect or think of that enhanced the appearance. They take pride and ownership in every phase of their work. And this is why we will continue using Joe's crew for future project We highly recommend TRUTH INC construction. You won't be disappointed.

Truth, Inc. is a licensed general building contractor. My contact at Truth was Daniel, the Principal. Daniel sat down and explained everything to be done at our first meeting and wrote up the contract. His price was good so we proceeded with the work. I was having a re-roofing project done, so Truth was not able to start immediately. Daniel said that was no problem and to give him a call when the wood repair was completed so he could schedule his start. We changed to Texcote after the contract was signed so Daniel add an additional $1,500 for that change. Truth's workmen showed up on the first day and began sanding the eves followed by painting of the eves and priming of the stucco. They required about 5 days to complete the work and brought on a big crew at the end of the week to finish up. There were a few items on the punch list and Daniel sent the crew back in two weeks to finish those items. The windows were special ordered and could not be installed before completion of painting. When the windows arrived, Daniel promptly called me and scheduled installation. There was a problem with several of the windows being slightly larger that the opening, but Daniel brought out an expert installer and the windows were installed with a minimum of disruption to me and my family. Most of the work was done from the outside and they covered the inside with plastic sheeting to keep demolition dust and debris out. They sealed and repainted the window openings. There was surprisingly little damage to the outside stucco and they touched up minor areas. My wife and I are very happy with the result and glad we had it done. The wood fence was a particular challenge. It is about 10 years old. Daniel tried staining it, but that didn't work. So he painted it with solid color redwood stain at his expense. The result is excellent. Daniel is honest and he lives up to his word. The only change orders were those requested by me. All promised work was satisfactorily completed.
Description of Work: Painted exterior of stucco and trim of moderate sized house with Texcote. Replaced 4 windows. Repainted 70 feet of wood fence. Repainted inside of entry door. Painted 3 security gates and bars on patio slider. Installed and painted new side garage door.

Joe is awesome! From day one, I was super impressed by his ability to understand my vision and also incorporate his ideas when mine didn't quite work for the space that we had to work with. All the work was done in the time that was estimated and the price was reasonable. I love my new bathroom, I could spend my whole day in there.

To start with, they moved all the appliances out of the way, both in the kitchen and the laundry room. The floors and the wall was done well, except for a small area in kitchen, which needed to be re-grouted. After the tiling, they moved everything back. The 1/2 bath turned out quite well. It's a very small space, and they made it look so much better than before. In the main bathroom, the shower was in bad shape from a prior Re-Bath renovation, and they had to gut it all the way down to the subfloor. They cut out an area in the wall of the shower for a niche to put bath products. The tiling went well and the shower now looks very good. After installing the new smaller cabinet in the main bathroom, they had to use creative thinking to re-route the drain for the sink. In the process of removing the old heater, they found a small leak from the main bathroom's toilet, underneath the house, which they removed and replaced the clamp at no extra charge. We provided all the tiles and grouting, the new cabinet, toilet and sink.
Description of Work: Tiled front entry way, kitchen, 1/2 bath, and laundry room. Gutted and tiled main bathroom shower, and removed larger cabinet with sink and replaced with a smaller cabinet with sink in the main bathroom. Removed old non working floor/wall heater in living area/hallway and rebuilt wall and floor sections with lumber and drywall. Installed new toilet and sink in 1/2 bath.

I have NEVER had such a positive and creative experience with a General Contractor throughout my 33 years of owning and building four restaurants and my own residence. Joe and Team Z7Builders deserves a 12 out of 10, if there were such a rating. The 400 sq ft space next door to my restaurant became available and I jumped on the opportunity to rent it and create a bar/lounge area for my restaurant. The previous tenant was a barber, so the space needed all the plumbing and electrical reworked to accommodate the appliances and sinks we had to install. From the initial consultation meeting, Joe, has been fantastic! Joe arrived to our appointment ON TIME, which is a first, since my restaurant is located on a busy street in parking deficient San Francisco and punctuality becomes the first characteristic that becomes compromised by previous contractors (and vendors!) Although Joe mentioned to me that he primarily works on residential homes, he was able to seamlessly maneuver through the intricacies of commercial building. I didn't have definite plans drawn up yet, just an idea in my head as to how I'd like the bar to look and feel like to the customer. Since the space is small (400 sq ft), and there are many other bars within two blocks of us, I knew that the design of the bar would be a huge component to it's ability to compete and thrive. Joe even had an in house designer as well as his own superb aesthetic to assist with the color scheme, accents/details of the bar, and functionality to bring the "quietly modern, comfortable, and aesthetically impressive wine bar" feel that I was looking for. Because of Joe and his team, I have saved thousands of dollars by not needing to hire architect and a designer for the planning process. Joe even assisted with collaborating my vision (while keeping Health and ADA codes in mind) to the architect to draw up plans for obtaining building permits. During every step of our construction process, Joe would "value engineer" without compromising quality while helping me stay on budget despite the increasingly elaborate details I added as the project progressed. Joe and his team custom built everything (except for the appliances and sinks) in the bar. Due to the unique floor plan of the space, each item, from the liquor shelving, bar cabinet (that the countertop sits on top of) with intricate wood detail, side countertop on the wall which "float" on top of an elaborate wood paneled 10'wide by 20' high accent wall, an amazing bench that sits flush with the wood "shutters" which overlay the windows required customization when building and installing. Joe even built an amazing pair of sliding barn doors for our new passageway between the restaurant and the bar. The beautiful stain on the wood accent wall and the faux finish on the crown moulding was expertly painted by Aaron, who is an absolute pleasure to work with. I gave Aaron a picture reference and a verbal description of the feeling I'd like the stain colors to convey. Aaron created eight stain samples, and I was amazed with how he was able to translate my vision into tangible stain colors. Most of all, I appreciate the professionalism that Joe has shown during this two month construction process. Joe and his team were always punctual and very responsive. I have never had to wait more than 24 hours for a phone call/text/email back from Joe. From the quality of work and the attention to details that Joe and his team have shown to my project has indicated to me that Joe is a craftsman; someone who is truly passionate and cares about my project. Being that I own and operate two restaurants and now a bar, I usually don't have the time to write such a comprehensive review. However, I felt it necessary to follow the proverbial "Golden Rule", "Do onto others as they do onto you." Joe and the team at Z7Builders have been a pleasure to work with AND they built an amazing bar for me, and for that, I submit this review not only to share my experience, but a reflection of the my satisfaction and appreciation.
Description of Work: Remodeled a 400 sq ft commercial space from it's use as a barber shop a bar. We remodeled in two phases: rough; consisting of creating a new service window to connect our existing restaurant next door, creating a new entryway between the restaurant and the bar with beautiful custom sliding barn doors, creating a cutout for us to install a wine refrigerator into the wall, and sealing and removing the stairs of the existing doorway between the restaurant and the bar. Also, the plumbing and electrical had to be reworked and relocated to accommodate our appliances and sinks (and floor sinks) The finish phase was completely custom; each detail (except for the appliances), from the bar and the side bar, installing new tile on the floor, liquor cabinets, elaborate wood paneled (10'wx20'h) wall, custom bench and window "shutters" detail, and barn door was meticulously planned out and executed.

Joe is absolutely AMAZING-- The entire team is awesome. Before we even hired Joe, he was "going to bat" for us and made us feel like he was already working for us; he went to the city to check on rules, permits, etc before we even decided to hire him. He found out information that completely changed our plan for the atrium (no one else mentioned we couldn't legally do what we had planned), but Joe made us feel great about what we were legally allowed to do. He worked within the limitations the city gave us, and was still able to create a space we LOVE! Joe is always full of TONS of creative ideas, making sure that both my husband and I are happy. Joe had anticipated needing to remove the existing sliding door & window to ensure they were water tight, but as the construction started he noticed that the proper construction was already in place. He brought it to my attention, and (without me even asking) assured me that he would credit me the cost that was no longer needed-- and he did! All the guys are fantastic to work with, and I feel completely comfortable with them in my home, whether I am there or not. They are all so sweet to my dog, too. :) Joe's attention to detail is clearly something his crew knows is important. Since I'm usually home while they work, they would bring me in to check on things at each stage of the process-- I really appreciated this since I am a bit of a control freak & very particular-- but they always had things just right, and I found that any of my concerns were completely unnecessary. Joe is often on site, working side-by-side with his crew, overseeing the work, or going over details with me-- always ensuring that everything is done right, and that we are happy. Every day they put down paper on the floor from the garage through the bedroom to the atrium, and plastic over everything in our bedroom to ensure that the dirt & dust is kept to a minimum. At the end of the day, they removal all the paper & plastic, and shop-vac it all. There's no way to fully prevent all dust, but with z7 builders, its as good as it gets. We even told them they could leave the paper & plastic over night, and we would sleep in the guest room-- they left the paper & plastic as requested, and even still shop-vac'd the bedroom & hall. We've already had Joe & his crew start on the next phase of our remodel: the master bathroom overhaul, new wood floors in the master bedroom, a new dryer vent, and recessed lighting throughout the house. So far so good... I'll review that once its done. We're also planning to sign Joe & the z7 team for our kitchen remodel, too!
Description of Work: Joe & his team (Erin, Alex & Romeo) completely remodeled our 10x11 foot atrium off our master bedroom... it is now our "master suite patio retreat!" They removed the faux plastic 'roof' that the previous home owners installed, and replaced the drywall with stucco (appropriate for an outdoor space). Erin made a gorgeous stucco finish. They plugged old vent holes in the wood trim, put a flashing topper to ensure the surrounding roofing is water tight, and painted the whole area. They removed the redwood decking, and replaced it with a concrete pad, and a beautiful paver stone patio! They also created proper drainage for the space. Joe & Alex also secured all of our foundation screens around our home so that our new HVAC duct work isn't at risk of critters getting in.
