Miguel did a fabulous job of repairing the hardwood floor in our kitchen that had been damaged by a leaking dishwasher. He replaced the damaged boards and refinished the whole kitchen. It looks like new. Amazing transformation and he did it with minimum disruption for a reasonable cost. He was responsive and prompt throughout the whole process. A portion of our hardwood floor was removed by plumbers to fix a water leak and I made many calls for someone to repair the floor before finding Miguel. He came out promptly and gave a very fair estimate. We were held up a few weeks due to the Corona virus sheltering, but he finished the floor repair this week and it looks like new. He was very careful to clean up and instruct us on care of the repair. I would not hestiate to call him for any flooring job.

We hired Wood Flooring Experts to both repair a few worn spots on our oak hardwood floors and to refinish with a new coat of poly. Miguel, the owner, was friendly, competent, expert in his craft and reasonably priced. Of particular note for praise was that he reached out to us several times before, during and after finishing his work (always a huge plus, because with any contractor something usually needs to be redone or fixed or improved, and some contractors disappear after they feel their work is done). In our case, the kitchen floor didn't take the poly coating well. Miguel was immediately responsive - he came back the same day, sanded the floor and recoated it at no charge. True professionals are skilled, take pride in their work, are easy to work with, and make their customers happy. Miguel meets all of these criteria. Wood Flooring Experts is highly recommendable and we would absolutely work with Miguel again.

My hardwood floor was damaged by subterranean termites. Miguel repaired my floors and refinished the boards and now they look like new. He knew the color and type of wood to use that needed replacement. Can t tell that there was any damage at all. He communicated well, gave the exact time and day he was arriving before he did the work. He was efficient, came on time, gave extra attention to details, and finished the job in a timely manner. He also gave suggestions for when I was ready to polish my hardwood floor. He was professional and answered all my questions. Miguel did a quick assessment and worked on the hard wood floor which had bowed due to previous water seepage. He corrected it by opening the closelby base boards, made provision for expansion under the dry wall and leveled the floor back to original position. He then refixed the baseboards, painted them and touched up the dry wall as well. A good job done restoring the floor to original appearance.
