Got the job done when the movers couldn't do it. It was quick and painless. However, the movers broke the trim on my refrig and WG said they would find me a replacement and order upon my confirmation. Never heard from them again. Not their fault probably would cost more than the frig is worth. It's just nice to find a company that will go the extra effort even if I had to pay a little more than I expected.

We had some people out to fix our refrigerator. I wasn’t really happy with them, they did a good job, they got in and got out, but they ended up charging me for two and a half times more than the actual price. I checked the box which had the part that they had put in and I also checked on online, it was $70 but they charged $150. They didn’t give me a warning and I asked them to go ahead, because I had no idea that they were going to charge me so much for the part. Before you check somebody’s card you have to give a written estimate, but these people didn’t. They charged me $185 for the part, which is all over the internet for a less than $100. They kind of blindsided me. The guy who came out was nice, he did a good job, he was in and he was out. The refrigerator is working fine now and all that stuff, but I would have appreciated a more specific estimate before they started work, to see how much it would cost. I would not call them again. They were prompt and professional etc, but they charged me too much. I can’t say they were gauging because they are the ones who are doing the business, they have to pay bills and rent and all that jazz. I did go online, I confirmed the price, and the retail price for the same part number was like $8200, so I don’t know. If you are going to be professional, you need to let somebody know what the charges are going to be, they have to be a little more specific. I did not use them again. If I have to, I’ll definitely get a quote from them.

Company was referred to me by another company that I called after checking Angie's List. Referring company said this company is an expert with Maytag appliances. The washer was generating a burnt smell which set off the smoke alarm nearby. So, I called and he was able to come out the same day. He met with my wife and told her that he will change out the belt first, since it was cheaper than replacing the motor. He removed the old belt. on the washer. The repair guy showed the old belt to my wife and then showed her a new one. The old belt had stretched out over time and he said was probably slipping during the spin cycles. He installed the new belt and no problems to date.

Left a voice mail on Sunday evening the 26th. Had tech at my house by 3pm Monday the 27th. Dishwasher worked by 4pm. Very happy with service.

The work has been pretty good so far. They are still making a few adjustments. They are customer oriented, their communication has been very good, and so far they have been very responsive. I have been pleased. I would recommend them and would use them again in the future if necessary.

They were very good. I have no idea about the cost. They explained everything to us. They were very neat. They were just nice people, which is rare to find these days. I think the price was very good. We had other estimates and they did very well. The quality was great. We haven't had problems since then. They came out within a day of our calling them. They were right there when they said they would be. We haven't had any bad experiences with them. We were just happy to have somebody honest and nice. We were happy with them. I have recommended them to people. We would use them again in the future if we needed to.

The spin cycle in my old Maytag Neptune washer stopped working all of a sudden and I actually smelled something burning. I also noticed that the closed door indicator light was not working. I called Williow Glen Appliance and described my problem to Abe Duran. He knew right away what the problem was and said he can fix it. From the "symptoms" it was a burned out fuse which controlls the door latch and the spin cycle function. He told me the approximate cost of repairs including the required parts. Even though I live in the Santa Cruz mountains and out of his service area, Mr. Duran indicated that it was not a problem for him and he would be happy to come up and fix my washer. On the day of the appointment he arrived on time and performed the work quickly and efficiently and at the cost quoted. I am very happy and satisfied with the service and to have my old reliable washer working again.

I appreciated his being able to come the morning I called, and also his doing something extra that I had not requested, but which was very helpful. He was also able to give me recommendations, first that I need not replace the appliance, and second, what brand was most reliable in case I replaced another kitchen appliance.

We realized the fridge/freezer was on the blink the morning we were to leave for a 5-day trip. I checked the list then called around and the manager/owner of Willow Glen said refrigerators got priority and promised to show up in about an hour; he did, he diagosed the problem immediately, he had the part with him and he fixed it at a reasonable cost. A few days after the trip it failed again and he returned that day, diagnosed the new/related problem, got the fridge going for a few days till the part came in, returned promptly with the part two days later and installed it - no charge; even though it was a different part it was considered the same repair and under warranty. I will definitely recommend them and use them again.

I would definitely go back to them. We've recommended them to several others.

Abe was able to come out the same day. He had a pretty good idea what the problem was and after initial tests pinpointed the problem. He replaced the fuse and it worked again. Abe also made sure it worked properly and there weren't any other problems before he left.

OUR DRYER WAS MAKING LOUD NOISES AND WE THOUGHT THE DRUM MIGHT NEED REPLACING. WILLOW GLEN QUICKLY IDENTIFIED THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT. THE COST WAS LESS THAN WE ANTICIPATED.
