Will never use this company again. They did not contact me for about 5 weeks after I paid the fee to Angie's list. I finally called them, and they came the next week. They sent an addtional bill to us for another $90 saying it was more because we had two furnances. They did not tell us that when they came to service our furnaces. Overall, they were terrible and unresponsive!!

I don't have any "don'ts" in using this company. It was a great experience from start to finish.

They not only reloaded the freon, but also cleaned the exterior unit and replaced some shady connections done by the landscapers.

It was quick and the person was relatively professional. He went through every duct with a vacuum then tested the system once he was finished.

These guys are great, they have serviced my AC & Heating system, they're coming in tomorrow for the annual service on the heating system. Ironically it turns out that they were also the guys who installed the AC /Hearing system prior to us buying this place. Highly recommend these guys.

The serviceman came on time and did a goodjob on the furnace tuneup. He found some water collected under the furnace. Our main air filter was not clean ( during the last duct cleaning by Valley Heating , they forgot to do that ) and he cleaned and also gave us a new disposable filter.

I contacted Valley Heating and Cooling for an estimate to replace my furnace. In scheduling the appointment via email, we decided it would be a good idea to also have my current furnce and ducts inspected. The gentleman that came to the house performed the inspection, but was not aware that I wanted (nor was the correct person to provide) an estimate. He was very thorough in his inspection and was more than helpful in trying to help me with a fireplace insert that was no longer working. To be clear, I am pleased with the service I did receive, I just didn't receive all of the services I had anticipated. I am disappointed that the scheduler didn't quite put all the pieces together for me. I had a rare day off, and wanted to make the best use of m time.

We used a Big Deal coupon for this work. Originally, there was a mix-up in scheduling the 2hr service call. The operator at the company said the electrician would work between 8 and 10am. I asked if that meant he would arrive at 8am, and I was told that he might be a few minutes late depending on traffic. On the day of the scheduled visit when he had not arrived by 8:30am, I called back and was now told it was actually the arrival time that was between 8am and 10am. This mix-up caused me some inconvenience, but the person I talked to was very apologetic, and gladly re-scheduled the call for a later date. For the re-scheduled call the electrician Sal actually arrived a little early. (He called first to make sure this was ok.) Sal was courteous and professional. We were impressed with how quickly and efficiently he worked, and would definitely seek him out for any future electrical work. The original scheduling mix-up was obviously not Sal's fault.

Everything went well and advised me of importance of yearly inspection .

The service went well overall. They initially replaced an igniter, which didn’t correct the problem. They then replaced the circuit board; they made note to me that the ignitor they originally replaced also came with a circuit board, so they didn’t charge me for a second igniter. They could’ve very easily charged me for both, so I really appreciated their honesty.

He was clear, professional and completed what he set out to do. He did go over a few minutes over the 2 hours, but he also added an extra outlet (3 total) besides what we had agreed upon. I can't vouch for the other electricians at VHC&E, but after a few bad experiences with electricians, Sal was a much nicer experience.

We previously had this type of service performed by the company that installed the furnaces for us. The service technician performed a much more comprehensive maintenance on our system, spending far more time making sure the system was working properly. We were very happy with the service and are consideirng signing up for an annual maintenance contract with the company.

Rich was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He was by far the best AC repairman I have worked with. Recognizing that I will likely need to replace my unit soon, I will probably use Valley Heating and Cooling to do the job.

The extensive exterior lighting in our new house puzzled us. Through an offer on Angies List we had a 2 hour lighting tune up. Lots of testing of the lines and education filled the time. He found a few simple problems (shorts, deteriorated wire) and several light bulbs were burned out (sounds like a simple problem but they are expensive bulbs and was the problem the bulb, the fixture or the wiring). We were thrilled at the efficiency. My husband, an engineer, said he could have done it but it would have been a Saturday project with a few trips to the hardware store. Nice to put a check mark in the done column on this problem. Great to have a name in our address book for future concerns.

To our delight, Valley Heating showed up on time the first day with a crew of at least 6 people, and finished the entire job in 1 day! The lead worker spent hours constructing a large box in the garage that wasn't on the original plan just so that the sound of the furnace wouldn't carry through the house as it used to. The result was astounding- we used to have to raise our voices to be heard when the furnace was running, but now we can barely hear it. We are also very pleased that the furnace is getting the house to the proper temperature much faster since the duct work is in proper order. While we still had to do some major dusting, they cleaned up immaculately after themselves. Overall, they were extraordinarily professional and exceeded our expectations by a long shot.See above

This is the second time we have used Valley Heating, Colling, and Electrical, and came back to them because our experience with them was so positive the first time. I purchased an Angie's List coupon for $100 of work for $50. There was a bit of a time gap between when we caslled for service and when the appointment was scheduled, but it was not overly excessive, and was most likely due to the popularity of their technicians (they stay busy!). On the day of the service, the tech called approximately 30 minutes before the appointment time (as they said he would) and said he'd be there in 20-30 minutes; however, he did not show until over an hour later (although, it was still within the two-hour time frame the company gave me initially). The tech was friendly and amiable, quickly addressed each issue in turn, and provided positive tips for keeping similar situations from occuring the in the future. He also did a great job installing a new light fixture I had bought from Lowe's for the dining room, even making several post-installation measurements to ensure the fixture was perfect aligned and straight. All wor was completed for the cost of my coupon, at no additional cost to me. Very happy overall, and will continue to consider VHCE for any work in which they have expertise.

I have used this company in my other home and trust their ability. The meeting was everything I wanted.

They were very accommodating on setting up the date and time for the service.

Scheduled the HVAC cleaning agency, as per special from Angies List. They confirmed the order, showed up on time and really cleaned up the ducts
