e theThe electrician arrived on time. Asked what we wanted. Checked to make sure he understood what we wanted. Did an excellent job, cleaned up after himself and left. The vent cleaning person, arrived on time, went to work immediately but unfortunately did not complete the assignment satisfactorily.

Contractor was on time. Had a problem with the furnace start-up made a loud booming sound, with walls shaking. Had difficulty mimicking the problem while the contractor was there; however, he stuck with it until the problem recurred during the service call. He found that there was a problem froma prior retrofit that wasn't suited for our furnace. Made that minor correction and suggested what to look for in the future, as the furnace continues to age. Also gave info on how to oil the system once a year.

Technician serviced the various components of system. Cleaned them out, checked everything was working properly and gave us some advice on how to get some easy efficiency benefits. Guy really knew his stuff. Was clean and courteous and stuck to his estimate of how long the work would take. Grade A experience all round.

The worker was terrific, and so were the final results. The process was unusual because the worker ran into some unexpected glitches. As a result, a job that ordinarily takes two hours took almost all day. When the worker realized this, early in the process, he informed me how long it would take and told me he would have to cut some sheetrock out of my ceiling. Then he asked me if I wanted to proceed. I said yes. He worked very steadily all day and did not even take a break, that I can recall. I would have to hire someone to patch the sheetrock, but in the meantime he attached the pieces with screws so that I wouldn't have a hole in the ceiling in the meantime. It's one year later, and the fan and light work great.

I responded to a coupon on Angie's list and paid for the service on line, in advance. Their office called almost immediately and scheduled the work. They called again the morning of the work to reconfirm. The technician showed up on time and went right to work. He obviously was very familiar with the process. He would answer questions cheerfully and explain what he was doing. He was careful to protect the floors and other parts of the house. The work was completed on time and at the agreed price. I cannot think of what more you would want.

Really happy with the service. The called to confirm the appointment, as well as calling 20 mins before he arrived. He as able to fix a living room light that had stopped working years ago. He installed an outdoor outlet with cover and caulking and everything, and still had time to take door 50 year old lights from the garage and install safe, bright lighting fixtures that I had bought. Very happy with my experience.

It was second time I was using Valley Heating deal to perform some electrical tasks in my house. I like them and would use them again.

It was fine; I wasn't there myself but my father was and he followed the service person around the house to observe.

The technician was on time to install the earthquake gas shut off valve. He left everything neat and clean. But when I read the installation instruction he left behind, I noticed that he did not install the required braces. When I called the company the next day, they acknowledged the mistake and promised to fix the issue. I had to wait for about 2 weeks since the they did not have the required brace in stock.

Arrived on time. Did excellent work. Courteous workers. They were very professional and neat. We were very satisfied.

Good service. Professional. On time. Thorough. A little expensive though relative to others in the area.

Unfortunately Valley Heating did not have the right size equipment to reach up to our 3rd floor end unit to conduct the duct cleaning. However we had them do other work including retaping all of the ducts. The serviceman was very helpful and made suggestions for work that was needed. They showed up on time and finished the work as agreed upon and it all seems to be working fine--better than before the repair.

Overall experience was great. We would use them again.

I love working with Valley Heating Cooling and Electrical!! They have done all of our HVAC work in our house for many years. Highly recommend them!!

He came, he worked, he left.

I thought I would hear back from them as stated on the Big Deal, but I had to call them which was not the expectation I had. I was unable to get an appointment in the time frame I desired so I had the Big Deal refunded.

I made the appointment and the day of the appt they called and had to reschedule because they had a job that was going longer, not exactly what I wanted to do was schedule my entire day around this appointment just to have it canceled, err. When the tech arrived, he took inventory of what needed to be done. He replaced and installed the new sensor lights quickly, no problem. Then he looked at the exterior temperature sensor and wasn't really sure what it was or how to install it. Once he figured it out, and the clock was ticking, he finally installed it. By that time, the house went from our standard 72 degree interior temperature to 85! He was about to leave the house when I noticed that the air conditioning system was not kicking back on. He ended up waiting about 25-30 minutes and it still hadn't kicked on. Of course, I was worried about the time that was lapsing. He called his company and they told the tech to stay at the house to make sure it turned back on...it finally did and then turned off...seemed very odd. He ended up staying extra time to make sure he hadn't created another problem by installing the temperature sensor. When the tech left he said that they would be deducting the time spent from my other already paid for 2 hour electrical service - WHAT????? I haven't called to make my next appointment but to deduct time from my completely separate service was not something I had approved or was in agreement of. This has yet to be resolved. I will update my review once resolution is complete. Until now, the last communication was unsatisfactory. Be careful if you have multiple services purchased as this could get you into trouble.

The company was excellent -- professional and explanatory. I found out later that PG&E does such work complimentary -- yes, including even oiling whatever it was that they suggested be oiled if I asked the technician to do so. So, customers can possibly get this service at no charge -- that is, if you trust PG&E (which I don't) and plan to contact this company again for future safety checks.

It was the first time I had used them. They installed two lights. It ended up being more expensive than the Big Deal I bought. I would not use them again.

The technician arrived on time and was very courteous. The overall experience was fine.

The guy they sent out was awesome, he was here a few hours but did his job efficiently. great overall experience.

Make it clear in their deal that it is for a specific amount of time.

I was very pleased with the service provided. I especially appreciated the communication from both the office and the serviceman prior to arriving as our daily schedule gets a bit hectic! The work was completed quickly and professionally. I also had the opportunity to review a future project with the serviceman and was given information for identifying and locating the materials needed. What a time saver! I look forward to working with this company again.
