The tech that came was on time, very courteous, extremely professional, very thorough and explained everything. I was extremely happy with them.

He showed up a little early for two hours work pre-paid. Installed a light fixture to replace a broken one. Installed an electrical outlet on the outside wall of the house. Had to pay extra for the outlet, which he had in the truck. Work was done quickly and well.

Great! They really explained everything too and showed me how to change the filters in between visits.

These guys are awesome. Rick came out on Thursday, and turned the gas off to my furnace because it had a cracked heat exchanger. Completely dead. Within 15 minutes, I had a quote for a new system, and it was being installed by 8 AM the next morning. Super professional and cleaned up after themselves. They ran into an issue with the furnace not being the right one, so the boss brought out a new one same day and they reinstalled the new system. It was all done by 6:30. If you ever need a new system or a tune up, do yourself a favor and check them out.

Overall I have no complaints. He arrived. I showed him the problem and he proceeded to fix the problem. no drama.

I left a phone message on about December 28 requesting a service call for a loud noise that occurs when the furnace starts. I did mention in the phone call that the issue was not urgent. as far as I know, the phone call was not returned. I did not try again. Update: I left a phone msg on approx 12/23/2012. They apparently returned the call but it did not show up on msg machine. I wrote a review then we discussed situation. I agree that they responded proactively & will try them next time.

Just regular maintenance. Craig first went into the attic to work on the furnace. He told me what he was doing. After he was done with the inspection of the heater. He turned on the heater and checked the temp from the upstairs vents. Later, he put sheets down to protect the floor and brought in the vacuum's tube and hooked it up to our down stairs vent. He turned it on and sealed the other vents with paper. He went around using the hydrolic blower in all the vents. He also checked the AC compressor outside.

The service was excellent! They were very prompt, friendly, and professional.

As I reported previously, I emailed Angie's List about the service area problem. Said "just letting you know, but have made appointment with co. and don't want you to do anything about that." Angie's List message was to call the co. if we wanted the appointment!! Obvious communication prob. witth List, not Valley Heating. Call from me to Valley straightened it out. I faulted (and still do) List for failure to announce service area lims on the Special Offer. But no complaint with Valley.

It's difficult to believe that this company is highly rated, but perhaps they pulled in B team people because they had too many takers on their Angie's List Deal. So reserve your judgement. A polite guy showed up on time. That was the good part. Next, he began the setup process, which involved dragging a wide corrugated vacuum hose into the basement. I asked him not to drag it across the flowers. He said OK, then didn't notice that he was dragging it across the flowers. Next, he dragged it around a doorframe... I had to pad it myself so that it didn't scrape off my new house paint. If I had not been there, the net effect would have been moderate destruction. He did the basics but didn't understand some steps: he squirted some compressed air into each duct while the giant vacuum cleaner was pulling it out at the other end, and squirted air at each vent cover, but only covered vents after he'd worked on them. The first few probably didn't get much vacuum power applied. Then he kinda cleaned out the heater device itself, but with no vacuum attachment on the giant 10" diameter hose... not so effective. He basically brushed the whole thing off with a paintbrush. And the process of getting his vacuum into the basement left a lot of dirt on my basement stairs (my basement walls are ancient alluvial soil) but he didn't clean that up. He offered to tape up some wires that weren't being used, and then forgot to do so. No biggie, they were like that before he got there, but. Last, he went through what was clearly the required upsell attempt. What's the best part? My heater, which has worked flawlessly for 15 years, just died. The gas valve solenoid quit. Might or might not be because of this visit. Again, reserve your judgement.

Arrived at the scheduled time and after I explained the 5 jobs I wanted completing started work on them quickly and professionally.

The yearly service on my furnace was done with professionalism as usual. I was called to remind me it had been a year since my last service as I had requested when they were here last. Because it is a gas furnace and because it has been so cold I scheduled an appointment right away. Didn't want any problems with this weather. Al arrived at appointed time. He serviced both the heater and air conditioner. He changed the filter and I could tell the difference right away. I have asked to be called again next year and will certainly use them again.

They were right on with the work, very personable, hard workers, and did a great job. They were also quick, thorough, and answered all my questions, I will use them again.

The guy that came out was one of the more exceptional electricians that I have ever dealt with. He was friendly and he is good at what he does. The cost was better than market price.

It turned out that what we needed to do was hard to finish without him seeing it beforehand. We came to the conclusion that the coupon would not be beneficial and therefore we prompted a refund from Angie's List.

He got more done than I thought he would in 2 hours time. He was clean, professional and it all worked out great.

The company contacted me by email asking me to call to set up an appointment. They got me in quickly. The man called before arriving to tell me he was on his way and to ask if he could arrive early. That was good. He was very courteous and professional. He wore booties inside the house and told me everything that was happening. It took about two hours to complete. There was not a huge lot of dirt in the system, but it was still great to have the furnace and ducts cleaned because we just bought the house. He did recommend we obtain a free quote on a new furnace because ours was quite old and inefficient. Overall, a very positive experience and worth the money.

Scheduled an early morning appointment for a heating unit tune up. Technician arrived on time and spent about an hour cleaning and checking out the heating unit. Great price and service. I would use them again.

They arrived on time, cost as reasonable, they did a great job. They were friendly and professional.

The security lights are fantastic and the outlets that were replaced inside the house are great! The service man let me know how much time was needed for each project and was able to complete all that I asked for in 2 hours.
