Maintenance was done the day we scheduled. No issues found. Additional freon was added to the compressor. My two fixes were looked at and parts were needed. They were ordered, but had to come back and install them when received which was about 2 weeks later. Everything worked once new parts installed. Had to pay for the extra parts, collars were $100 and the fireplace igniter was $500. The onsite technician did an excellent job. Maintenance work was done quickly and professionally. Diagnosing other problems was a bit more difficult, had to go under house to see detached ducts and figure out fireplace problem, but was able to fix everything needed. Fireplace igniter box was the major cost item ($500) in this service. Overall price was a good value.

I called Valley Heating early in the morning of 4/13/2013. It rolled into an answering service which took a message. The technician called back shortly after that. He was ver polite and promised to show up around 12:15pm. He called around 12:30pm and said he was running late and would come around 3:00pm. He called around 3:15pm and apologized that he was running late and was finally heading my way. He arrived just before 4:00pm. I think he was the only one available on this Saturday and was overloaded. It would be better if Valley had a back-up technician. He did an excellent job and solved the problem.

I was very satisfied with their service.

Based on their suggestion, we got bids to replace the 40 year old air ducts. Another company that was recommended by my general contractor came with a better price and since my GM recommended them, I also trust them. So the other company performed the service and we were happy with them too.

Excellent. The service individual was thoughtful, considerate, and thorough.

Arrived on time. He warned me that the scheduled 2 hours might not be enough time to do all 3. However, all went smoothly, and after 2 hours I had 3 new fans operating smoothly.

No surprises, just as I expected.

Had Valley come out and clean my air ducts and dryer vent AFTER getting a Groupon deal with another company for 49.99. Turns out THAT deal was only good for homes with about 1500-1700 square feet where they could clean the ducts from one central location. It would cost $550 if I wanted them to clean each air duct! That was never disclosed in any of the "fine details". Bait and switch as far as I was concerned! With Valley, the technician who came out was very professional, explained everything he was going to do and was very good about cleaning up afterwards and explaining what he actually had done. I was having some hardscape work in the front and he had to work around that and he was very accommodating in making it work. I would use Valley again and if I ever decide to get Air Conditioning, they will definitely be one of the companies I call for an estimate at the very least.

The service technician, Javier, was extremely professional and friendly. He explained his process and how long the duct cleaning, furnace tune-up and dryer vent service/maintenance would take. He completed the service about 20 minutes early and then explained how we could maintain a clean dryer vent, as to reduce the frequency of service calls. In addition, we requested a quote for additional HVAC modifications for a pending remodel and he immediately phoned into Valley's cost estimating department, described the work in detail, and provided a verbal quote within 10 minutes! Now that is service!

The tech called when he was on his way and arrived at the time promised. He was dressed professionally and was very polite. He kept me informed of what he was doing at all times. Most of the work was done in the garage and on the side of the house. One set of filters and thermostat were upstairs and he was careful to be clean and careful during his work. It was a very pleasant experience.

It was a pleasant experience overall and the technician did a thorough job... better than I was expecting. Of course he tried to upsell me on some HVAC cleaning services (to be expected when using a coupon), but he wasn't pushy about it.

Performed the expected service -this was on a coupon -and more. We would certainly have this company again and plan to when we decide to go ahead with more electrical service . It was a short time but we followed the man around asking questions which he very graciously answered after examining the electrical outlets, box, lights , which we had problems with. He fixed a couple of small problems and told us what would be involved in additional electrical work we are considering having done. Very professional, told us what electrical work he examined was done well and what wasn't. I would trust him not to do any unnecessary work.

It went great. The guy was awesome who came out. He did exactly what we asked him to do and fixed some other things. He was great. He was very friendly and very prompt. When I called, they called right back. They were very accommodating to mys schedule. He did excellent work. He did a little extra to make sure we got our moneys worth.

I had a list of things for them tackle. They did a great job, and offered advise for things not included in my list. They did such a good job, I had them come back. This time they added a new wall plate light switch including a new electrical line in my garage, installed an outdoor motion light fixture, replaced my garage door battery, and replaced an air conditioning circuit breaker. They also offered additional advise on my electrical stove.

They were very good and it was worth the money and the unit looks pretty well. I don't have any issues. I would definitely use them again.

I purchased a two hour for the price of one electrical service thru Angie's list. I could not be more pleased with my experience with Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical. Sal, the electrician, was pleasant, punctual, neat and did more in the two hour visit than I thought possible. I would recommend this company to anyone who asked.

Did not accomplish its job but he did his job.

The representative was on time. Completed the work in the time alloted.

Bought the Angie's List discount for furnace and air duct cleaning. Very responsive from the day of purchase to the job completed. The technician, Craig, was excellent. He's on time, polite, patient, and very professional. Not only that he did the job I purchased, but he also patiently explained what he's doing and how I should maintain the system. He's not pushy on selling other services, but just recommended what I might consider in the future. He spent 2 full hours to complete the job. It's well worth the money even I need to pay full price in the future.

They have not come to do this service until next week

So, he showed up on time and proceeded to replace the 2 sensor lights and was done in about 30m for both. Cool. Then I gave him the exterior sensor (which connects to the thermostat) and he really didn't know what it was or how to go about it. He did figure it out by reading the instructions, but it became a time sucker. Then, apparently he had to completely turn off the thermostat to install the sensor. He was done well within 2 hours, however, at this point the house interior temp had risen to over 80 degrees (84 if I remember correctly - I keep the house at a consistent 72 degrees at all times). I asked him if the thermostat was going to turn back on since he powered it back on and he said that it should be turning on. We waited and waited and by this time time was ticking and we were over the 2 hours. He called his supervisor since I was only going to pay for the 2 hours of service, an no more. His supervisor approved him staying until the air conditioning clicked back on. We waited and waited and he couldn't explain why it wasn't turning back on. It FINALLY turned back on but it was after a pretty long wait. He couldn't explain why since my settings were still saved for air to click on and remain on until it reached 72 degrees. He left and the air was on for hours getting it back down into the 70's. At the end of the day, it works, and I was satisfied. What I am not completely satisfied with is that I have another voucher for 2 hours of service and I expect to be able to use the voucher completely for 2 hours of service independent of this job. I have not received confirmation that this will happen even though I called a couple times to make sure we were square. They also had to cancel my appt 2x before coming out due to the technicians being stuck on other appointments and would not be able to make it to the house. It is frustrating to take time off work and set aside time in your day for an appointment only to have it canceled completely. All in all, my perception is that this is a trusted company. I expect this will be resolved, otherwise, I will update my review.

They guys were very professional. The worked neatly and quickly and I felt as though they were knowledgeable in what they were doing.

Arrived on time. Completed about 1 hour later. Answered any questions I had. Seemed to be doing a thorough job.

Technician was prompt, courteous, efficient, and straightforward. While he did recommend further service by his company, he did not try to hard-sell us or even prompt us to order it.

They were prompt and accurate. Always asked me appropriate questions, and some suggestions.
