Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical were good. They only did an hours work because I couldn't think of anything else to do but they did say that I could call them back later to do the extra time. They came out when they said they would and I was very happy with them.

They made it easy to schedule to meet our needs and called to confirm in advance. The electrician was polite and competent and offered to do any more electrical work we needed to fill out the hour we were charged for. We have previously used them for servicing our heating and air conditioning and the experiences were equally as efficient and satisfying.

Electrician arrived on time. I wanted an outlet moved. He explained all my options and we arrived at a good solution. He worked quickly and was finished in the 2 hour time span I had purchased. I had purchased 4 incorrect toggle switches, and was disappointed that he only had 2 of the correct switches.

It was fine but I think it was a bit misleading. They did per system, not the whole house system, so I had to pay per system since I have two systems. They guy was courteous and nice.

Sal called to let me know when he was coming. Was here promptly. He came in and looked at the outlet that was not working. He saw that the wires had melted and that the breaker had not tripped. We were lucky to not have started a fire! He fixed the outlet for us and made recommendations. Sal also checked out lights that have not worked. He repaired the issue which was fried wiring. Again made recommendations.

We want a new air conditioner as well but can not afford it now. It was suggested that we nonetheless install the COIL for the A/C now, rather than waiting. The coil is beneath the furnace, in the crawl space beneath the house. To install it later would mean REMOVING/reinstalling THE FURNACE AT CONSIDERABLE ADDITIONAL EXPENSE. Thank you Zac for this excellent tip. My only complaint was that we should have been asked prior to disposing of any parts from the old unit (hence the B for professionalism). I had to go rummaging through their trash bins to retrieve something I wanted to keep and was provided no assistance (or sympathy) in the process. Technician had a truck full of components to help install a line, box, and the light outside the house. with many home materials in play (wood, cement, plaster), i was amazed he had all the right bolts, screws, drills, boxes and line to complete it. So it went really well. Just to be clear, we used a Groupon, which brought the hourly rate to about $90 plus materials. That seems a fair price for the quality of work.

It went well. He showed up right on time, and he was friendly and professional. I wasn't sure how long the work would take, and I think I had a full day's worth of work and he tried to get as much of it done as he could in two hours. It was tricky and time consuming to troubleshoot the dead socket and outdoor lighting, but he did a good job explaining what he thought and I learned from him. I am considering hiring them again for another four hours or so to help with more electrical work around the house. He apologized for not being able to get everything done, which was nice of him. He would've stayed but he had other appointments. I felt bad for him because I had so much work lined up for him, that it was impossible to get it all done. Two hours is not very much time to get electrical work done!

They said they would call about 30 minutes before arriving, and yes, they did. The agreed time frame was from 1 pm to 5 pm, with most likely time being from 3 pm to 5 pm. Yes, they arrived between 3 and 5 pm, at about 4 pm. The gentleman that arrived was wearing a uniform shirt with his name on it. He brought the needed tools and equipment with him. Before starting work, he gave a brief explanation: He told me what was needed (had to run the furnace for a short time so he could test it). He communicated as needed during his work - just a couple of times, to ask me to run the furnace, and then to switch back to AC. I had bought a discount coupon through Angie's List, that I gave him at the end of his work. There was no problem - he accepted the coupon as payment promptly. The whole visit took less than an hour. Without me asking, he gave me a copy of the paperwork, including a customer survey to fill out later. Even without a coupon their price is very competitive. I will use them again.

When I moved in, the circuit for the light above the sink, the dishwasher and garbage disposal did not work. I troubleshot it myself and just kept hitting a wall--the power was there at the panel, but not at the switch. When bay valley got there, he quickly ran it down to a faulty ground...yeah...a faulty ground. Who would've thought that something that didn't shock you was important? Anyway, he found a safe place to ground the circuit and everything has been fine since then...

The crew was very friendly, explaining us what they were doing. Our house is different than most by having the furnace on the attic. It was a bit more challenging for the crew to do the cleaning since the registers are very high on the wall rather than at the floor level. The cleaning went well, but after the crew left, we realized that the heating was not working at all. I was a bit nervous calling back, since it often results in conflict. But this company really handle well the issue. They send the next day something to take a look at it. One of the air duct collapse in the attic, and one piece of the furnace broke down. They fix it no charge. This is why I rate this company top notch and I will use them again (thinking of adding A/C). When everything goes right, it is easy to get top reviews. But when something does happen, we realized why we pick true good company. I pick this company because of its great rating on Angies list. When I pick a great company, I expect of course great quality. But if something happens, I expect them to repair it promptly. So, you can have confidence of doing business with a company. So, in conclusion, the work was well done (i.e. the cleaning), but collateral damage was done to the duct system. This company step up to the plate in fixing the issues. On a side node, make sure you clean you duct at the time of year where it is not very cold outside, so if something happens, you can wait 2-3 days for repair (parts may need to ordered). Also, you don't want to make while it is too hot to not use your system for months, and only discover issues too far in time.

They did a good job. They guy was knowledgeable. He also helped me with tuning the heater because it made a loud noise.

The call to Valley Heating, Cooling, Electrical was handled very professionally. the appointment was set up with a 4 hour window (like most service calls). The technician arrived right at the beginning of the appointed time so I had no waiting. After the diagnostic tests he presented my options which I accepted (replace the bad parts and recharge the unit) . He explained why some of the parts may have blown (turning on the A/C when it's very hot outside might have overloaded the unit). He suggested that the unit be allowed to start when it's not as hot so it can bring the temp down without the strain. He cleaned up and the work was done quickly.

It went very smoothly overall, the electrician was efficient, did good work and answered my questions.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. The experience was very good. I had to pay for the new breaker because it was a specialized item. I was just lucky they had one on the truck. It was only $40. They were on time and the technician was very helpful and he got done what we needed.

I think that the electrician is a very pleasant guy, and he is very helpful. I had an electrical mess that was installed by some amateurs, and he got it all straightened out.

When our residential air conditioning system failed we called Valley Heating & Cooling because of a previous, very satisfactory, experience with them. They scheduled an appointment; met the timeframe promised; were careful to leave the house as tidy as they found it. They found the problem and fixed it quickly. They did not try to sell us upgrades or replace equipment. When it is time to upgrade or replace any heating or a/c equipment we will call Valley.

We liked Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical's work. Everything that they did was great. They were very considerate of the time. We had a few items that we wanted them to get to. He told us right out there were some easy things we could do ourselves, it would be a waste of time and money for him to do them and that he would go ahead and tackle the larger problems. That was really good.
