The technician (Craig) arrived promptly and inspected all of our air/heating ducts. He removed one of the vent covers carefully (the ceiling was recently painted and the cover was stuck) and attached a giant vacuum hose to it. He turned on the vacuum which used positive pressure to suck out all of the dust, debris, etc. from the ducts. While vacuum was on for about 20-30 minutes Craig went to each vent with an angled blower to help dislodge any debris that was stuck in near each vent cover. He also replaced the air/heating duct filter and vacuumed out the area where the filter lies. He also cleaned the furnace and ensured that it was in proper working condition. He then cleaned out the dryer filter. After he was done he removed the giant hose and his other equipment. He then went through the house with a shop vac to clean up any remaining areas of debris that were visible in the vent screens or that had fallen on the floor. Before he left Craig also gave us a coupon towards a future service with Valley Heating. Overall my husband and I are very satisfied with Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical and especially with their representative, Craig.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish- from first phone call to the resolution of the problem. When I explained the apparent problem, Danielle suggested that I ' save myself some time and money' by going ahead and buying the replacement part ahead of the service call. In this way, if in fact, we didn't need a circuit panel upgrade and just a breaker replaced, the serviceman could do it in the one call and save ourselves from having him to come back at a later time to fix it. That's exactly what happened. Sal was on time; able to identify and replace the breaker in little time and the charge was reasonable. I would highly recommend this group.

Provided excellent advice over the phone, even down to how we could do the repair ourselves. We chose to have them come out since it involved our circuit breaker (and I didn't want to get fried in the process). The repairman showed up on time and since we had purchased the replacement breaker in advance, he was able to make the repair on the visit meant for an estimate. He showed how our old breaker had failed and even wrote down what was wrong since I wasn't able to be home at the time. Great service! We will use them again and highly recommend this company.

The new installation went smoothly. They arrived on time, explained the work involved which included going into the attic and under the house. They explained how the new furnace and thermostat worked, left the area clean, and did the work in the time estimated. The furnace they recommended for our house works beautifully. Very happy with our choice.

Sal showed up right on time...he called first. MISSION: Finish a "honey do" list of household electrical problems. He first took apart a broken pendulum lamp and attempted to repair it. He got it working and recommended lamp stores that might have parts for this particular lamp. He then checked the electrical sockets in our dining room which had no power. He located the electrical box and took out the switch. I thought it was defective. He replaced the switch (no charge) but said the old one was still good. He then went back to the dining room and showed us that a surge protector in one of the sockets was defective and throwing the switch at the panel box. I tested it by plugging it into a good socket and the power went out in that circuit. We threw that surge protector away. He : 1. replaced an outside socket (cracked) with a new one that was "covered and up to code." 2. checked the three-way switches in our hall by taking them out and tightening the wiring connections. 3. provided us information on upgrades to the interior and exterior lighting and said he would send an estimate of costs. All of the work, inspections, and estimates were done within two hours and we were completely satisfied.

I was so disappointed in this provider. I had high hopes since they had such good rating at Angie's list. I needed 2 condensers replaced for my duplex. I called for an estimate and I advised the operator that my condensers need replacing and that they were located on the roof. I told them that they needed to bring a ladder. However, I was informed by the operator that I should provide ladder myself. I was told that they do not carry ladders. I thought this was strange since the other two A/C companies brought their own. Since I do not want to argue, I lugged the ladder to my car and brought it over to the duplex for an estimate appointment. The gentleman that came over introduced himself as "Ray." As I got ready to take the ladder out of my car, he said "I don't climb ladders. I don't go on the roof." At this point, I am really annoyed. First, if they were not going to go on the roof why do they have me bring the ladder over? Second, how are they going to get an accurate picture of what needs to be done if he refused to go up and see? Ray says "I have been doing this so many years that I do not need to see. Let me take a look at the furnace." We proceeded to go inside and he took a quick look. I think he looked at it each units for approximately about 5 min. He was done with that and he promised to send me a quote. I was dubious about the quote he was going to send since the other two companies at least took the time to go up and investigate. And it took more than 10 min. to look around. Also he did not notice some of the issues the other two companies pointed out. The estimate arrived promptly but there was huge range. I have asked for prices with different options but their prices ranged from very expensive to competitive. And it was not in the same ball part as the other two companies. I just could not go with this company since there were too many red flags for my comfort, especially when I would be spending anywhere from $ 5,000 to $ 6,000.

The crew did an excellent job. Put an hvac system in a 64 year old home. Required hvac engineering improvisation to build it into the home . Eric and Rafael did a great job. Very happy with the results and highly recommend them.

Great. Service guy was very friendly. Walked me through services to be performed and then went off to do the job. The vacuum hose was solid black so I was unable to see how much dust/dirt actually was cleaned out of the ducts. I'd just assumed that the duct cleaning would use a clear tube/hose to show the client how much was getting cleaned. Unfortunately not. So I just have to trust that the ducts were completely cleaned. Only con: Once the vacuum hose was hooked up to one of the vents, the guy then walks around with an air gun to all the other vents and sprays them with air to kick up the dust inside the duct. The dust in the duct then gets pulled to the one vent with the large vacuum attached. A by-product of this, though, resulted in dust getting left behind on my carpet directly in front of the vents. The dust-bunnies were large enough to the visible eye. Yes, it's because the external surface of the vents were dusty, but it would have great if the guy had a small hand-held vac to clean up the visible dust left behind. After he left I then had to go around to 3 or 4 vents with the hand-held vac to perform the quick cleanup.

The experience turned out pretty well. The guy did a great job. He was very neat, very tidy and came when he was supposed to. He cleaned everything out. It was very good and the price was excellent. He was professional. The price was quite a bit less from everybody else. He seemed to do what he was supposed to be doing. The whole experience was positive.

Purchased a Special Deal for $69 for an A/C and furnace turn-up. They gave me a two-hour window and the technician called to give me a more precise time. Josh was very professional, efficient, and friendly. Because I do not have an A/C, he called the office to see if they would reduce the cost of the service. However, the best they could offer me was to look on Angie's List to see if I could find a better Special Offer from them today and to call them by 5 pm. Unfortunately, there weren't any so I wound up paying more for what I got. This didn't sit well with me, so I probably would not hire them again.

It went fine. The actual technician did a fine job and was very friendly and professional. The problem I faced with them was that they gave me a window of 1 to 5 and then at 4.30 they called and said that they wouldn’t be able to come. I sat at home all day during the window and with 30 minutes left in the window they didn’t make it.

On time as scheduled. "Josh" the person who did the work was pleasant, friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He explained what he was doing and how it would help the overall performance. I used Angie's List for the best value on the "Tune-ups" and it cost $150 additional for the installation of the new thermostat including the new Emerson Thermostat Josh did a Great job and I will call on them again... Thanks - "Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical"

We had purchased a big deal and the service went well. They were exceptionally prompt, very thorough, pleasant and professional.

very well. I hadn't had anything cleaned in years and vents were very dirty and dryer vent to outside was partially blocked. I bought the angie's list deal for the a/c and furnace for $197 and paid $99 for dryer vent cleaning. Young men were very courteous, efficient and professional.

The service from Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical turned out very well. The work met my expectations fully, yes, it did. I felt like they went above and beyond with some of the projects that I had for them. I was really pleased with the effort that they put in to meet my needs. I would rate them 'A' across the board. I would use this provider in the future.

Two men were dispatched to do separate jobs. Sal, came in and figured out what was wrong with the electricity in our dining room. He showed how we may be able to troubleshoot the problem, if it should happen again. He was very professional and thorough. Mike came and added coolant to our air conditioning system. Like Sal, he was professional and courteous.

They were on time. Did the service and were very professional.

We bought a big deal and added an additional hour. Sal arrived on time; he is an outstanding electrician and a man of integrity. Wish we had met him months ago when we had a lot of electrical work that needed to be done. We would have hired Sal - with or without - Angie's Big Deal. I.e., we would have hired Sal. Valley HC&E is very fortunate to have this man in their employ.

Everything was according to the agreement.

I had two jobs for an electrician - replacing an under-cabinet fluorescent fixture and replacing a loose outlet in the pool equipment shed. He finished these with time left over, so I also had him replace six 2-prong outlets with 3-prong outlets. I purchased the fixture ahead of the visit, but he had the materials for the outlet replacements. The Angie's list "deal price" was $119 for two hours of electrical work, the fixture cost $25 and I paid him $85 for the parts he used to replace outlets.

They offered pretty good service. I don't remember exactly when they came out but their service people come by and did a pretty efficient job. We definitely will call them again. They're pretty honest. One of their work they didn't show up the first time.
