We bought this house in the summer and had a lot of remodeling done. When we were finished we wanted to get the HVAC checked out and get the remodeling dust cleaned out of out vents and ducts. I had this service done by another company in a different house and expected them to clean the vents well. It turns out all they did was hook up a vacuum device to the furnace. This is very different than what I had done in the past And not what I wanted. I asked when I called how many vents the coupon covered, because it is usually priced by how many vents they are cleaning. She did not seem to understand what I was asking and that should have been a clue that we were not communicating well. Anyway, the tech did go around and check all the vent temps and told me all seemed to be working well and explained to me what he was looking for, showing me the gauge readings. He said the only thing was the back bedrooms at the end of the duct run were not getting as good of air flow. He said that was normal for a long run. which sounded reasonable to me, but disappointing, And he explained one very expensive solution was to install gate type devices to close off and divert air from unused areas of the house. He went down in the crawl space and checked that out as well. When I called and discussed how unhappy I was with the cleaning, they sent another tech out who basically redid the inspection, supposedly. But to have the cleaning I thought I thought I purchased was considerably more money. Both techs were polite. However, a couple of months later my husband was down in the crawl space and our main duct to the back bedrooms was not even connected. It was never supported to the floor joist originally, and only taped so it had fallen. A handyman came a screwed it together, supported it properly, and voila! Air flow problem fixed! So, two techs from this company went down and did not see the problem which was just a few yards from the crawl space entry. And my ducts never got the cleaning I thought I was paying for.

They responded right away to set a date. On the day, the technician called in advance to confirm arrival, showed up, did the work, explained everything, and answered my questions. He left the place clean and neat. There was no hard-sell for products or extra services. I will use them again.

We had Valley out a month ago, to install 2 sconces and undercabinet lighting in our kitchen. The sconces took the technician longer than expected (due to the location of the sconces). Due to time constraints, we had to reschedule the technician to come back out to complete the installation of the undercabinet lighting. We scheduled the technician's return visit about a month later, due to the technician's availability and to accommodate our work schedules. On the day we booked, the technician did not show. When contacted, we were told by Valley that the technician had been (re-)scheduled for another day, without our knowledge or consent. As a result, we ended up taking two days off of work (for the originally scheduled date and the re-schedule date), instead of the date we had scheduled with them. At the end of the day, the technician did a great job for us. However, I would exercise caution in dealing with this vendor. It was very unprofessional of them to have rescheduled our work to another day, without notifying us.

I found them through Angie's list and chose them because of their incredibly high rating based on the most reviews. My experience was fantastic, and reflects what most other users of Angie's list experienced. I wasn't disappointed: Excellent, professional, clean and efficient service. Technician was extremely friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, He clearly explained the scope of maintenance and did recommendation how to keep AC and Heater running troubles free. it was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

The experience was GREAT! I was not getting my heater to ignite. You turn it on, you can see the element get red hot, but no flames. It's been awhile since I had the units serviced, so I bought the coupon for the cleaning, etc. I knew when they were here they could tell me what it would take to get the unit working. When I got the email to schedule they indicated they had available times next week. I called to set up a date and time with the office. When I let them know that I was not getting any heat they arranged to have someone there the next morning. The technician arrived at my house on time. Professionally dressed , great attitude, knowledgeable in his field. In no time at all he had things working as they should. He found a wire that had come lose, maybe when changing out the filter. He checked the schematic and reconnected it correctly. He showed me a few things that should be taken care of in the near future. No pushing, no pressure, here's what I found and recommend. I will call them back soon to arrange to get the items pointed out taken care of. Great job, technician, and company!

Everything was perfect! There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount.

Prompt, professional and excellent work. Finished in time

I purchased a big deal from Angie's List and their services turned out very well. I had the duct cleaning added. The original purchase I had was just for air conditioning and heating tune up and he mentioned that separate from Angie's List item as duct cleaning. So, I paid for that above the Angie's List quote. This was the first time I used them. They were friendly and courteous. They were prompt on showing up on time. They provided a detailed listing of what they actually did, reviewed and notes with what they inspected, so it was very thorough. Their price was pretty reasonable.

None existed before the installation so it was a brand new job. The installer was competent , thorough, and left the area cleaner than when he began. I would refer him to friends & family.

I had purchased the 2 hours of electrical work for the price of one hour. I had purchased all required hardware previously. Sal arrived right in the middle of the arrival window. He was prompt and polite and understood what I wanted to do with the outlet behind the TV. He was clear on where the hole in the wall would be, which was very helpful to the TV location. He was efficient at the rest of my small tasks (change a switch, fix a loose electrical outlet). He was also really clear on worst case time estimates so I could maximize the number of tasks I got done.

It went well. He was able to finish up in 45 minutes. It was not anything major. He did supply one plate. It went very smooth and no problem. I cannot complain about anything. I would use him again.

ok. had to come back and replace one set of parts. scheduled another appointment for replacing another part since not on hand or in stock.

He showed up on time. He had all the tools he needed to tune up the A/C and furnace. He explained to me very clearly prevention tips and what to look out for. I was impressed with him and his advice. He didn't just check it and leave. He explained everything. It was a little expense but i was paying for excellent work.

Very professional. Would definitely use again

It was a bit of a job getting my 3 kitties into their carriers and out of the house so that they would not get freaked out by all the noise and to keep them safe, as the front door had to be left open, but everything went well. The two workmen got everything taken care of as quickly as possible and did a fair job of cleaning up the lint and dust from the areas that they cleaned.

The provider was very nice and informed us immediately that they don't serve our city. One suggestion is to list the cities that are not served, we looked specifically for the San Francisco Bay Area (where we live), but the provider only serves the south San Francisco Bay area.

Appointment scheduling was done via email. Serviceman arrived on time, performed the work as agreed and that was it. Very easy.

Sal was great - on time and did a great job.

I gave the company a N/A on service since I can't judge what was actually done. The offer price for the tune-up seemed a good deal but the price quoted for the part was really inflated. That sort of thing is probably where the company gets it's return from providing low cost inspections. I checked "Yes" that I'd use this company again, but not before trying others first. Second opinions might be advised for any recommended service repairs or parts. Consumers are at the mercy of service people who usually hold all the cards, particularly in an emergency.

The man who came out was very good and really friendly. He knew what he was doing and he explained the whole thing to me so I found that helpful. He did some extra work too like cleaning the other ducts too whereby I showed it to him. He provided the service a little bit after I purchased the big deal and I only spent on the coupon. I just wanted him to clean it out so that everything was in order.

The electrician was very good at knowing what to do with our outdated light fixture box. He quickly was able to give me the options to make the correct choice. He was very pleasant and fast!

I've contracted with this company before, Sal remembered me and the previous work he had done before. It went great, Sal is very detailed orientated, a super efficient and skilled electrician. He has a very relaxed attitude so I always feel comfortable asking him questions. It's very easy to contact the office, they communicate clearly and precisely, confirming the appointment date and time. The time window on both occasions were accurate. I've used other electrical companies before, they can become very pricey very quickly and often don't have very basic materials with them. Great company, great service and value for money.

The service man arrived promptly and explained in detail as to what he was going to do. When he was through he explained his findings and left the home as clean as he found it.
