It worked out very good. I used them on multiple occasions so I'm happy with them. They put in a lot of electrical outlets outside and inside. We had some problems with some outlets outside and in the kitchen and he fixed them.

The scheduling was easy and the technician was on time and professional. He completed the inspection and told us everything looked fine and he wouldn't recommend any further repairs / replacements. I will use them again for next year's annual inspection.

The service was done at my mother-in-law's house in San Jose. It was good, the only thing happened was that when we paid ahead for the $75, we thought that people are going to call us but they didn't so anyway we worked it out with Angie's List. They ended up calling the people, it worked out really well. The timing was good, the person came exactly when they said they were going to come and everything was done efficiently. I would highly recommend them. It was kind of confusing who would supposed to contact who.

The visit was quick and complete. I really appreciated that the person who took my call was nice and friendly, as was the person who called to confirm my appointment. The guy who came to check on my furnace also called as he was on his way over, which gave me time to leave work and meet him at my home.

After gathering several quotes, we ultimately decided to proceed with only part of the project, deferring the other part for later. While we did not select Valley SCE, we will certainly consider them for our future HVAC needs, as they are clearly a very professional, successful, top-notch organization. It took a little longer to get on their calendar than some other companies, which is probably an indicator that they are in high demand relative to their competition. Zac, the gentleman who came to our house, was prompt, knowledgeable, and personable, and he was one of only two bidders to follow-up with us later (two weeks) to ask if we had any lingering questions and find out if we'd made a selection. Our overall impression was that this is a gold-star company with a full slate of clients who may pay a bit more but get what they pay for -- and then some. We won't hesitate to call them back when we have future HVAC needs.

Appointment needed to be adjusted, by company but they let us know well in advance and re-scheduled. Arrived on time, Very thorough and professional job. Friendly man, open to all our questions. We would certainly recommend this company and special price to others!

They came here on time and did the job very quickly. When they tested the furnace they said everything works well. But my pg&e guys told me the air pressure inside should be negative which they argued it couldn't be negative. The negative air is from their truck. I still don't know which side is right.

They were extremely professional people. They incredibly managed to not disrupt us while doing the work. It was like they were not here at all. Their recommendations were spot on.

This is more of an old school organization. They are knowledgeable and honest. Everything stated by the service person was confirmed by a different vendor. They did discover the furnace needed to be replaced. And they provided an estimate at the time of inspection for replacement. The technician was thorough and took his time answering questions and explaining his findings. I would recommend this firm with the following reservations. 1. While available, they were running late on the scheduled time window. There was little notification. 2. Estimate was back of the envelope.

It was terrific. They did everything we asked them to do. They made sure our air conditioner was working right. They checked out everything like we want them to.

I purchased an Angie’s List Big Deal for this service and it was fine. I think they charged me for parts above the Big Deal price.

The Service Technician, Richard Parres, arrived on time, was very professional and did a great job checking and cleaning our gas furnace prior to our use this Fall. We will definitely use this company again.

Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical called a day earlier to confirm the appointment. Sal, the electrician for my job, called earlier in the day confirming the time of the appointment. Sal came right on time and got to work on the outlet right away. I have a Victorian so even the smallest electrical work can be wrought with difficulties like blockages in the wall or antiquated wiring. Sal warned me that the blockages could mean that my bathroom wall may need to have holes made to wire the new electrical line circumventing the blockages, something that I had mentally prepared myself for but was not too keen on. Sal spent a bit more time diagnosing the situation, and suggested routing through the basement instead. This worked wonderfully and left the walls unmarred! It still took a bit of time, but wasn't too much of an issue. During this process, Sal discovered that one of the light switches in the bathroom was held together by sheer willpower! It fell apart as Sal removed the plate and he fixed this up as well. After finishing the outlet, there was a bit of time left and Sal added a switch for an external light that was permanently wired on by the previous owner. Sal was courteous, friendly, efficient and hardworking. I would gladly recommend him as well as Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical to others, and shall certainly use them again.

They were prompt and thorough. I'm very pleased with their work and their price. I would have liked them to mark the service on the furnace, but apparently that didn't happen. However, I'm very pleased with their work.

The technician arrived on time and immediately went to the unit, saw the problem and said he would reduce the charge for the visit because it was such an easy fix. I was very pleasantly surprised by this and the fix worked!

I was contacted quickly after I bought the deal to set up an appointment. On the day of the appointment, the electrician was about 30 minutes late, but at least had the courtesy to call and let me know. He had to access the attic to replace some wires. He was friendly and professional and we would use them again.

The air duct and built-in filter cleaning and filter replacement was purchased with a coupon available on Angie's List. The cost of this service alone would have been well over $200 otherwise. Per my request the provider inspected the furnace and "tuned up" whatever was necessary which was done for a small additional fee. The technician was very professional, answered all my questions, provided a detailed summary of his findings and gave recommendations for continuing to run an efficient heating system. Although the technician did go into a sales pitch about purchasing a 5- or 3-year annual cleaning package before beginning work, it was more informative rather than a hard sale.

The electrician turned up on time and listened to what I wanted and then just got on with the job. He put on covers for his shoes and laid down covers to keep the are clean. Cleaned up after he finished. Very professional.

While trying to figure out the path of powewr damage was done to kitchen ceiling. It was repaired better then it was, but cost me 2 more hrs labour.

Al was the technician. He was very knowledgeable about the furnace and above all was able to make very good diagnostics about the problem of the furnace coming on but shutting itself down automatically after few minutes. Turned out it's really a loose screw of a cover panel where the on/off switch is located. I am an engineer and knows when others apply good tech judgement and Al definitely made me say Wow!

Service Tech (Steve) showed up on time, was extremely courteous and helpful. He went down a punchlist of inspection items on the furnace, but also took the time to go over and demonstrate homeowner-level preventative maintenance on the filter and flame sensor. This was great since the furnace was recently installed as part of a home remodel, and as homeowners, we had never really gotten an original rundown on the maintenance and operation of the furnace. It was a little out of the official scope of the service call, but Steve gladly took the time to step us through things, which was much appreciated. Would recommend or consider using again for future work.

It turned out very well. They were very professional, very thorough, friendly, and they were very sensitive with the environment in terms of keeping the area clean. I was very pleased all in all.
