They were very nice on the phone and seemed knowledgeable. The person that I talked to over phone gave me some very good advice and I said I would feel confident if you actually come down to my home. He said that's not really needed, but if you want to, we can come down. However, the person they sent was just okay. He didn't do an in-depth job.

Valley Heating and Cooling is great. They send me reminder calls for annual maintenance for my Carrier gas furnance. When Al, the service guy, came out, he was courteous, professional and very knowledgeable. He went through the normal maintenance of cycling through the heater, replaced the filter, cleaned the sensor, and ran all the diagnostics. I signed a 5 year maintenance agreement since I was satisfied with their service from the previous years. I would recommend them highly.

They did a great job on the installation, and the timer are working great.

Their scheduler was right on top of things. She explained that there would be two visits -- first a technician would come out to see what we wanted done, estimate the time and cost involved, then we'd buy the goods (in this case a bathroom ceiling fan) and he would come back to install it. She booked us in efficiently. The technician came out and estimated what we thought was a rather high price and too much time (we had to trim way back on what we wanted done in order to make the job affordable). The technician/electrician recommended a specific brand and model of fan and even told us where we'd find the best price. He was right! We're very happy with the result and the fan works great, it just cost way more than we ever imagined to have it installed. I think in the future we'll get a couple different quotes so we can compare and decide. This vendor seems very expensive, but the end result was good.

serviceman did a great job of working out my problem. He greatly simplified the job from what I thought it would take. Great Job.

Don't have any service performed. Bought a deal, but they were not able to come on the weekends. Otherwise, they were polite and courteous and responsive.

They never bothered to respond to my submission.

Firstly he checked the old heater and he confirmed that it was dead. He was very up-beat and positive. The second person came out and gave an estimate and he was nice too. They didn't try to oversell and let us decide and we really appreciated that. The people that came for the installation were really good and it went without a hitch.

They were excellent and really good. They wanted to do more than what you pay for but when they say they will come to do your furnace and air conditioner...it's one or the other. They do a good job and that's what I care about. Their price is reasonable and I will use them again. They are very knowledgeable.

They were very professional and very good. If there was anything that didn't look right, they took care of it. Actually on Friday, the city inspector is coming over and Valley Heating is sending one of their people along at the same time. The inspector requested it and they were willing to handle it. I think their pricing was pretty middle. They were not cheap, they were not expensive as far as the estimates I got from other places.

It turned out fine. They did a fine job in a timely manner. They were very polite, cleaned up after themselves. He arrived on time. I have no complaints at all. I would use them again and I would recommend them to friends.

I gave them a call; they don't service my area and I had to find someone else to do the work.

He fixed all he could in the 2 hours allotted and was concerned about not wasting time to maximize my use of his time.

I had an intermittent furnace error. It would run normally for a day or two and then not start. (I could restart it by turning it's power off and back on.) They came twice. The first time the error could not be reproduced. The second time they came the error was reproduced. A simple fix of extending the igniter with a washer fixed it. I was pleased. | | Harry

Arnel was late. I was told to be at my residence between noon and 2:00 pm. The worker was to call me a half hour before he was to show up when he was on his way to my place. At 1:40 pm I called West Valley ... told them I'd not heard from the worker and it was within the half hour window he was supposed to give me. They put my call on hold and called Arnel and found he was 'way behind, but that he'd be at my place shortly. It was 2:50 pm when he showed up! I had to take leave from work to be there for the worker. Had I known he would be that late I could have stayed at work. I hope this review gets to the provider. They should know that if it happens again they'll lose a customer.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They did a great job. I paid additional because I asked them to do something else. I totally understood why there was an additional charge to check the furnace. The price was reasonable for the work. They came pretty quickly and they were right on time. They also gave me an estimate on putting insulation in the attic. I've used them in the past.

I found a deal on Angie's List for $60 for one hour of electrical work (half the normal rate I think). I called them to schedule the job, and the technician came right when he was scheduled to. He did a great job removing my old chandelier and replacing it with the new one. He finished in just under an hour, so there were no additional fees. I will definitely call them the next time I need electrical work done.

Cleaned furnace ducts and inspected and tuned up furnace. Technician was polite and thorough.

It was okay. It was a straight forward repair, but they did it well. Work was done promptly and to my satisfaction.

I ended up cancelling the purchase. It was a miscommunication and by the time it cleared up, I no longer needed it. I had purchased 2 deals from this company...one was for my rental property which is located in the same city as my primary home. I had them perform the service on my rental property first because renters just had a baby and I wanted to make sure the air was nice and clean when the heat is turned on for the winter. The service was good. On time, professional and got the job done. Then I sent them a note with a couple of date options for my house. I think they may have thought they already did it and I didn't get a response back right away. By the time it was all sorted out, I had already had PGE come by to do their complimentary annual check up on the furnace and it seems that everything is fine. I decided to just cancel as the weather was getting cold and i've already had the heat on during the evenings. Perhaps next year I'll give it a try again. My husband has allergies so for the price, it's certainly worth a try. Even with the misunderstanding, they were very nice and professional in dealing with it. I appreciate that as we all know, sometimes things don't go smoothly and it's how you handle it that makes the difference.

Art from valley heating came out on Saturday to give me an estimate on replacing all my heater ducts, cold air duct and resealing my cold air box. I told him that my cold air duct was sitting on the concert floor. At that point, he recommended to run two smaller ducts instead of one big one. Art gave me a rough price on the phone before coming out to talk to me to see if it was worth coming out to my house. He never went under the house to see the job, but gave recommendations from in the house. He recommended Thermaflex, but had no idea about the product or had a price for it. He was suppose to get a price for me. He never called and I left two e-mails and finally called the office and had them call him. When he finally called me, the price went up for the cold air ducts from 700.00 to 1400.00.. I can't believe that an extra duct should be 700.00. He still has no price on the job. He wasn't very pleasent and told me to go with ABC heating. I thought that was very unprofessional on his point . I was willing to work with him, but not now.

He told me it would take a little longer than the 2 hours in the deal because he would need to find grounding for the outlets. I OK'd the additional work. He actually got it done in 2.5 hours. He did a great job, was done much quicker than he thought it would take. This is the 3rd time I've used them and will definitely use them again. A great company.

The technician was on time, courteous, friendly, quick, and cleaned up leaving no sign of his visit in my house. Couldn't have asked for a better job done.

Sal replaced three recessed light bulbs, and four ceiling light fixtures. Unfortunately, one of the three recessed lights still does not work (a short rather than a burned out bulb). He was so quick that he was able to do a couple of other short jobs that I could find. He still finished 15 minutes early. I was not prepared with proper light bulbs--my fault.

I have an electrical problem in that I keep popping my GFCI in my bathroom. I can't get any of my plugs to work. This is now over a week. When I was able to get some correspondence from the service provider, I was told the earliest they could start taking appointments was mid December, over a month away. That's ridiculous! I can get an electrician out here this week! Why would I wait until mid December? Clearly, they simply want to discourage folks who have bought this special, because it's not as profitable. I have no intention of doing business with them now or ever. I'll call an electrician out this week and be done with it.
