It was fine. They did a fine job. They were professional, they took care of the work, did the work, and we didn't have any issues. The only thing that I would say about them is, after I did purchase with them, I continued to get solicitation services from them afterward. I would say that we get a call from them every month or so.

It was excellent. They were prompt and effective. Nobody inspected my furnace in 15 years. He checked it and he said it was still good and they just need to clean a couple of things and that’s it. He was a very nice guy. He was very personable and friendly. He seem to know what he was doing in the furnace area. There was a confusion thing.

We really liked the repairman.

It went pretty well. This was the first time I had used them, and I would use them again in the future as well as recommend them to others.

Prompt, phone contact before coming over, a second call to say he'd be running late but then showed even before he estimated. Nice, professional, clear, quick. Only thing is we're waiting for them to call us re. doing some additional work with installing heating dampers. The technician said the office would contact us to set up that appointment and we haven't heard from them yet. Other than that, no issues.

Angie's Big Deal. This is the second time that we have had the pleasure of having Sal from Valley Heating, Cooling & Electrical help us with some electrical work. Sal is very intelligent and we trust his assessments on electrical matters. That's a huge statement given that someone - not from VHCE - nearly burnt down our house last year. Aside from Sal's electrical expertise, he is also polite and has a charming sense of humor. My husband and I will continue to work with Sal and VHCE.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. They were very professional and polite. I was a little confused because one had come out a year or two before and found a potential problem which I hadn't had fixed yet and this guy didn't seem to find it this time. I don't know what that means and whether the first potential problem wasn't a problem or this guy just missed it. I suspect they have varying levels of competence and this guy wasn't as competent as the first guy. The pricing for the Big Deal was great. I didn't spend any additional. I probably wouldn't use them again.

My experience with them was very good. They showed up on time, they completed the service and they did a good job. We haven't had any problems. All of the people were really nice and the technician was really good; he really worked hard. It was kind of a difficult job for him because the dryer vent was way on the other end of the house and he had to drag the hose they use about 30 or 40 feet. But he did it. I was amazed that he set it up so quickly. I thought he was outstanding.

We requested an inspection and repair of our furnace ducting. We received a reminder call the day before, as well as a call that morning when the tech was on his way. Rich arrived in the time window agreed on and assured us that our concern about the small size of our crawl space under the house wasn't a problem (he said he'd seen much smaller). After his inspection, he was able to show us actual photos of our ducting (including the resident feral cat), and how badly damaged it was. This was very helpful to us in determining that repair wasn't the best option, so we decided to replace all our 50+ yr old ducting, and have already arranged for Valley Heating to do the job. We anticipate it will continue to be a good experience working with them.

$110 cost includes Angie's list coupon of $60 for $120 in service plus parts. Electrician called day before to clarify time range and showed up as expected. I had a very specific need for an outlet behind the Toilet bowl. Electrician assessed the location of the outlet and described various options. Including more expensive "inside the wall" fishing of wires to reach the location which he was clear would be much more expensive. The locations is on an outside wall and ceiling and underfloor access is limited. Alternatively, connect directly to my outside breaker box by adding a new breaker and drilling straight though the wall to the location.... for much less time and a little more materials. Despite my concern with drillng through an outside wall, we chose that strategy. Work was fast. He delivered in about 70 minutes, only charges us for 1 hour which was covered by our Angie's list "Big Deal". Hole to the outside is sealed up good. Work looks very professional and clean. All in all, the results and the cost both exceeded my expectations.

The service went well. He was extremely efficient. Even at the two hour mark he was still working to make sure the work got done. He was pleasant and on time. I had them back out because of the work they did the first time.

They did a good job of cleaning, etc. When they inspected the heater they found a crack in it that could allow carbon monoxide to leak into house. Afterward I had PG&E come out and verify the crack. They red tagged the heater which means they disconnected it and said it was unsafe to use and left a report to that effect. I used that to get my home warranty to replace the heater. Was VERY HAPPY that Valley found the crack.

This was the second time I had purchased their Big Deal. He is easy to work with and very efficient and professional.

We purchased the big deal coupon for this service and they did a pretty good job. We were satisfied with them. They were on time and they also gave a lot of suggestions on what needs to be done. They explained everything that they did. They didn’t take too much time. They finished the job within the time that was allocated to them and so we were happy with their service. They accepted the coupon and the overall experience was good.

Showed up on time, completed work in a timely manner. Courteous works.

On time, responsive, professional. I should have written the review earlier as I've already forgotten the names of the two guys who came out. The first (Mike, I think) went through my entire system and educated me on any potential issues and what he thought were a couple solutions and options that I could explore in the future. The second technician came out to install the dampers. He was on-time, the work was completed very quickly and professionally. For example, they asked to go in/out through the garage to avoid getting the interior of my house dirty - I appreciate the thoughtfulness.

It worked out just fine. There were not additional charges, but I did purchase the outlets before hand myself. He was very courteous, thoughtful and seemed like he honestly cared about doing a good job.

Two people arrived within the window specified and were very professional and thorough with the explanation of what the process will entail. They reviewed all the steps with me and took the time out to answer my questions in a good amount of detail. They were very quick with the cleaning and thorough at the same time. Replaced my air filters in the furnace and recommended not putting them in the intakes in the living space. Good experience overall and would certainly use them again!

On time, professional and fast. One of the technician check on the furnace and said everything looks good. The noise level was reduced after they checked it, and changed the filters. A little too fast, which made me slightly sceptical how much tune-up work was done, but maybe it really don't need any. Well, I plan on calling them again, if any problem still exist. Hope there is no needed.

I feel like this provider did all that was expected, in a professional manner. I felt confident that the technician knew what he was doing and was taking care of my equipment as he would his own.

It went great. This was the second company we had come out after the first had said there was a crack in the pan which sounded fishy to me and that suspicion was confirmed by my trusted handyman and then confirmed again by Valley Heating. They found no crack, added a sensor, didn't try to upsell me and were very professional. I'd highly recommend this company. They do have a higher diagnostic fee -- it is actually double other companies fees (it is $120) but it is worth it as I saved over $1350 by paying an extra, more expensive diagnostic fee for a second opinion.

I was unable to determine if the "C" rating for "Responsiveness" was a result of Valley Heating, or Angie's List. I received an email from Angie's List, and responded to it, then never heard from either Angie's List nor Valley Heating for over a week. I finally had to call Valley to find out what was going on, and where the breakdown occured, but they had no explaination, and had to assume that my email reply to Angie's List was not passed along to them.

Very knowledgable technician came out to perform duct cleaning and furnace tune-up. I purchased the deal on Angie's List coupon section. The tech wore shoe coverings which i recommend to all techs coming in and out of our house, since most people come in and either do not take off their shoes or have dirty shoes to begin with and track all over your carpet and hardwood. Ducts seem to be a lot cleaner, but hard to tell--but, I'm sure they got a lot of dust out of the ductwork with the vacuum (industrial) that they used which connected to the furnace. They also cleaned up the furnace burners and checked the connections. They did try and push an annual tune-up program, for which i declined. I think a tune-up and duct cleaning should be once every couple of years; maybe a tune-up every year if you can afford that. They did leave some residue from the duct cleanup around the vents, and i had to go over each vent with my handvac. Overall, i would choose them again though.

My home is warm and comfortable and my bills are lower.
