Service was prompt and courteous. I wasn't charged for the second service call since the first was not able to permanently fix the problem. The technicians came when they said they would and the charges seemed reasonable. In every interaction the company acted responsibly and professionally.

Did not need the new furnace after all so I cancelled the deal. They were very polite and easy to deal with and got me pointed in the right direction to get the refund.

The provider stated that they could not perform the service until early to mid-Mach. The electrical that I need to have done must be completed by 2/20/15. I have contacted a previously used electrical contractor to see if he will be able to fit me in during that time slot. Valley Heating & Cooling responded to my request for scheduling the job but said they were already booked into March.

Very fast and very clean. We felt a lot better about the ducts afterwards.

It turned out very well. I misread something in the deal because I needed other work done as well. The guy who came out was very fast and efficient and didn’t need the entire 2 hours to get the work done. Since I didn’t use the 2 hours all at once, I ended up paying them again but they gave me a good discount because they had to order a part. They fixed a couple of light switches that were broken. They installed a replacement recess light, the old one had shorted out.

They did an excellent job with the installation of both the furnace and air conditioning system. The city came out to inspect their work and the only thing that required correction was that the air conditioner needed to be strapped to the base. This was required to prevent possible problems during an earthquake.

For heating I used Valley. I found them on Angie's List. The service was very good though, very professional and did things on time. They did a good job. They cleaned things up afterwards. The installation was pretty neat. I found them professional. There were like a few surprises that they found and they were able to work through it on the full in terms of to turn back and make decisions on what I wanted to do, for example whether to go for a high efficiency furnace. I had a very old furnace, something that was 40 years old so they walk you through a bunch of different options and on the whole they were pretty professional. There were certain ideas that they were considering in terms of how we could rout the exhaust and they had to do some surveying of the house, inside and outside to figure out if that was possible and initially they figured out that it wasn't possible. They were confident and the communication was very good. They finished things on time. They weren't the cheapest but the prices were pretty good.

When you find somebody that’s not giving you a problem and doing what they are supposed to do, it’s easier then to go and find somebody else. It was reasonable.

They were excellent, arrived on time, and I was very pleased with the service. They were very responsive. They cleaned the area well.

Everything turned out well. The technicians were experienced and knowledgeable, they did the work as promised, and they were friendly while completing the work.

The inspector came in and got right to work at my house. I have used them before and strongly recommend them.

The service for the big deal from Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical was fine. I use them all the time actually and then I got the coupon from Angie's List. They stayed within the 99 dollars big deal price. I believe it was for a service. They are just good and are on time. They are excellent. They are a good company to work with.

They do not service the type of system I have where my furnace ties into my water heater. It's called a hydronic heating system.

I called them and set up the time. They were very nice when I talked to them. I liked the person who I spoke with.

They were good. They put in a bathroom fan and I had a couple of other electrical things for them to fix from a home inspection. He was here on time and the things he needed he had right there in the truck.

Overall very good experience with the installers showing up at the scheduled time, putting protective covering on floor surfaces, speed of work (was a two day job), professional/respectful behavior of the installers and the overall quality of the work so we are pretty pleased with the purchase. One downside was that the first installer mis-wired the AC controller (diagnosed later) so the AC didn't work properly therefore requiring a followup visit to complete the installation; this same installer otherwise did an excellent job with the overall installation processes, the gas piping, insulation and tin-knocking (vent piping) work, neat, precise, clean and tight. Valley heating and cooling arranged the AC installation followup the next week and another installer plus a manager arrived to troubleshoot the issue which they found pretty quickly. They re-wired the AC controller then completed the installation. One suggestion to Valley Heating and Cooling would be to explain the permit inspection process to the homeowner. Was able to figure out the permit paperwork that I received from Valley Heating and Cooling two weeks after the installation but it would have been better if the RSN codes were explained for the online reservation process and that two separate inspections were necessary. This is pretty simple stuff to folks who deal with permits on a regular bases but having never worked with a permit before there was a little initial confusion on my part. No huge deal, just would have put this service rating over the top.
