Valley Heating, Cooling, Electrical and Solar

I made the payment through PayPal on 8/08/17. The same day, I sent them an email asking for a time when they would come to do the work. I had no response. Same for the phone call I made subsequently. I have now written them off and will not use them again.

There was some other parts that needed to be replaced and we went ahead and authorized that. He was great. He was really good. I would use them again. It took about an hour and a half. The cleanup was excellent. He always communicated and explained what he was doing and the options to do it. He was helpful, knowledgeable, punctual and quick to do the work.

Sal is fantastic. Arrived on time and never stopped working the 2 hours. It was a messier instal as I wanted to use an existing switch outlet. He figured it out, no problem.

very good - the work was a little complicated due to the house being of old construction, but it was accomplished and I'm very happy.

It was an intermittent problem that required a lot of diagnostics. They did a really good job, they didn't just replace parts. They could have charged me a lot more for all the time spent diagnosing the problem. I was very happy. Yes, I would use them again.

The furnace and air conditioning project was carried out in a professional manner in all respects, including the proposal, the scheduling of appointments, the efficiency of installation, and quality of materials supplied. The final billing was also very descriptive and complete. The promotional offer was a bargain. The electrician even gave me advice as to how best to solve other problems requiring attention.

Overall it went very well. During the heat wave in June, our A/C broke, on a Sunday. A couple hours later the tech called but was full up that day. The office called on Monday and set us up with a Wed. appointment, as of course lots of people were calling them. The tech came out, got the A/C running, and ordered a new box, which was installed about a month later, after it came in, only he did not come the day he was supposed to and never called--hence 4 rather than 5 stars. I called the office the next day and set up another appointment. The tech came and dealt with the repair. He was polite and efficient. We plan to use them again; indeed they had installed the A/C over 20+ years ago.

1. They were (are) scheduling out for AC repairs >1month. I waited >1mon. 2. The called to confirm a few days before the appt. 3. By the time they came out, I somewhat self diagnosed it was the outside AC unit that had the problem and not a fuse or the blower/furnace. 4. The appt took <30min 5. They gave me a discount because I waited for so long. 6. The technician was awesome. Really nice and understanding. He put boot covers on.

There was a slight smell of gas in the closet with the furnace that I asked them to fix. The technician thought that the connection of the gas line to the valve was the issue, so he added some material to the connection to seal it, and turned off the gas to the furnace and returned a week later to check if it had worked. He claimed it had worked, and the cost of the two visits was $360 dollars. He noted that the if it wasn't the connection that was leaking that he would have to replace a valve in the furnace at a cost of $400+. A week or so later, the smell of gas in the closet returned. I did not use Valley Heating and Cooling for the repair, since I lost trust that they could correctly diagnose issues and seemed to want to schedule (and charge for) multiple visits.

Sal was early (he did call ahead of time). He was in and out in about 3 1/2 hours. Sal's workmanship is superb! I've used Valley for 5 other jobs, and I always ask for Sal when it comes to anything electrical. He knows his stuff!

It went well, the guys were in and out in 3 hours. They were professional, and I appreciated the clean up afterwards. The city came out and signed off on the permit.

Fan-freaking-tastic. We had Salvador from Valley Heating, Cooling & Electrical come to my house. The guy was polite, hard working, friendly, and did GREAT work at a totally fair price. I would absolutely hire this company again.

The work did not take two hours,, which is what I paid in advance to Angie's List . It only took one hour, but they didn't give me any credit for the extra unused hour because what I paid through Angie's List is not their normal hourly rate.

We did a bunch of stuff so we could get the rebate.

Great! Done so quickly that I ran out of jobs for the electrician to do.

He came early (yea!!) He knew exactly what to do. Did a great job. Very intelligent about electrical needs in my home.

It took about 2 days. Three people, I believe, came out to help with this project.

He was knowledgeable, professional and knew what he was doing, walking me through each step along the process. I would highly recommend their service should anyone ever need their AC fixed.

They do a good job. They come back for routine check ups.

They are very good. They were excellent. There was one person who came to complete the work. They were prompt. They were good to answer questions. They worked quickly.

Got a coupon for 2 hour work from them. Had to reschedule when the technician came over and said that the work will take longer. The work itself was done smoothly. He was professional and completed the job without any issues.

On time, on budget, and no surprises. They helped us apply for an energy rebate, and the rebate came in better than estimated. The only nitpick is that some of the insulation fell from the attic into enclosed light fixtures in the ceiling; I have not had a chance to open them up and clean them out.

Worker arrived and checked 2 wall furnaces that were operating okay.
