Description of Work: The electrician called ahead to let me know arrival time. I told him what I wanted to have done.1) Check out overhead lighting that was not going on when I switched it on 2) Install extra outdoor outlets in patio area as my timer and outdoor lighting outlets took up the 2 available ones. Sal made a list of supplies I needed ( to save money ) I went to Home Depot as he proceeded to work on the 2 projects. I spent $89.82 on parts and supplies which he could have used from his stock but would have added up to be a lot more. He finished both jobs within the 2 hours purchased from Angie's list. He tested the new outlets and showed me that every thing was good. He replaced the light switch to my indoor lighting as the old one was not working. I was very satisfied with his work and thoroughness in carrying out my requests.

Description of Work: When I called on the phone the lady who answered asked in detail what I thought my problem was. She suggested the least expensive way to check out the problem.( Does not happen these days). When Rich came out he asked questions in a way that I could understand and right away I felt that he knew what the problem may be. He checked my furnace and knew what was needed and took care of it in a very efficient manner. Really nice to do business with a company who did not try to do more than what was needed in order to increase the cost. Thank you.

Description of Work: Have used Valley Heating Before and was pleased to see them on Angies List , had them come out to do the furnace for winter, also found out earlier they also do electrical and had them come out during the summer and check all the outlets(house is almost 50 years old) and upgraded a few of the outlets.Will probably have them out next year to blow out the furnace and and all the outlets.

Description of Work: Actually I don't remember the amount. It was an Angie's Deal. I set up the appointment for a spring/summer tuneup for two heating/ air conditioning units. The job was done on time and complete. We hadn't done a tune up in a couple of years and the air conditioning longer than that. Each time we had a tune up it was too cold to put the air conditioning through its paces.. I would recommend Valley Heating to others and would use them again especially if they have a deal. Dryer vent? Duct cleaning deal? I am on the look out for when those are on special.

Description of Work: I had bought a $50 for $100, 1 hour electrical services coupon from Angie's list. Sal, the electrician, arrived on time, was very pleasant. He quickly understood the problem and fixed it. We needed to replace a non-functional breaker with a new one. He brought one with him, but willingly let us use ours. He was able to replace the breaker as well as switch one breaker in less than 20 minutes. The second problem we had was one of the lights was not working. We did not know why. He isolated to the problem to a thermal sensor within 5 minutes. Very impressed with his expertise, attitude and professionalism.

Description of Work: Heating Furnace tune-up included inspection and cleaning the furnace on the inside and out, as well as the air filter. Checked the air ducts and fan.

Description of Work: Hung ceiling fan in bedroom with no previous fixture in ceiling. Inspected furnace and air conditioner and gave bid on replacement. On time, did the job and was courteous.

Description of Work: This is a great company, but expensive. They offer great deals though on Angie's list, but regular prices are high.

Description of Work: Rewired a two 3-way switches and installed a couple of electronic lutron switches. Electrician was 1 hr late and rushed to finish, but overall he was professional and did a good job.
