Description of Work: Valley Heating, Cooling and Electrical were totally responsive. They scheduled the order quickly, postponed the service date because of the discovery of the mold and canceled the service yesterday at my request. They were very polite and friendly and I would certainly use their service at another time.

Description of Work: Our air conditioner stopped working all of a sudden. After failing to get it fixed after replacing the thermostat (it seemed like a faulty thermostat at the time) I called valley heating and cooling. It turned out to be a switch turned off in the attic by the pest control guy (yes I did feel pretty stupid). Although I paid $80 (in what must arguably be the most expensive switch flip in the history of home repairs) Diana was ver courteous, sympathetic and helpful and gave me a nominal discount. I would definitely use them again hopefully for something that really requires their expertise

Description of Work: My heater wasn't working, but they fixed it on the spot. The original installer (not them) had run the flue incorrectly.

Description of Work: I purchased the service. I asked for help selecting an attic fan. I have not heard from the company, so I found someone else to do the work I needed done.

Description of Work: They performed adjustment and cleaning of heater, it was pretty dirty as it had been somtime since it was last done.... They also did a service on the aircondioner unit as well and they said the pressures were in good shape.

Description of Work: This was a safety and efficiency inspection with emphasis on AC. all was well except for a low level of coolant. the tech seemed content to just notify me of this fact and I had to ask him to charge it to full level.

The electrician came promptly at the selected hour and installed two attic fans. He was efficient, courteous, and completed the job to my satisfaction. I have used Valley Heating for other services including the annual furnace/AC inspection and maintenance, and purchase and installation of a digital thermostat. This family owned business is reputable and a pleasure to do business with.

Description of Work: Electritrian called before giveing me an arrival time and arrived at the time given. He was very professional, competant and pleasant. He worked quickley and efficiently. He was tasked to change a light switch, circuit breaker, install a chandelier and change out a few light bulbs in complicated light fixtures. I would call upon this company in the future to address any electrical problems I have and trust that electrical work would be professional. Very pleased

Description of Work: Excellent service! Purchased a 2 hrs electricity coupon for various electrical work in the house. Easy, fast scheduling and prompt arrival of service man with completed job on time.

Description of Work: Fixed wired doorbell that wasn't working right and two door bell push buttons. Old wiring that made a simple job more comples. They did a great job and as requested and as promised.

Description of Work: I purchased two hours of electrical work, but before doing so, I called Valley Heating and described that I wanted two overhead lights installed where none currently existed, and one bathroom fan replaced. I was told that I could probably only get 2 of the 3 done, but maybe more. I went all over buying the light fixtures and fan, then took off from work 5 hours early to be home as there was a two-hour window for their arrival. When the guy arrived, I showed him all three jobs and asked which two he could do. He said he could not do any of the three in two hours--not even replacing the bathroom fan. I have read online about many homeowners doing that one themselves and they call it "easy". I had no need for other electrical services. I will now have to go back to three places to return the three items (covering about 60 miles of driving). This is my second (out of two) very abd experience with Angie's List and I will not use it again!
