Easy to schedule, great Fall special rate of $75, & serviceman, Bill, was prompt, courteous and did a thorough and professional job. The only issue we had was that after the serviceman left, we noticed that our copy of the invoice was not very readable (yellow carbon copy), so we called the main office and requested a copy be sent to us. After 2 more calls over 3-4 weeks, one with the manager, we were able to get a readable copy. Next time, if needed, we will just make a copy of the original on our home copier before the serviceman leaves! We plan to use Valley Heating Cooling & Electrical again next year.

Ok, except it needed to be at least 70 degrees outside and it wasn't.

Installer had to cut into the drywall ceiling and walls to pull wiring for new light fixtures and 110V power outlet locations. Holes in the ceiling and wall were kept to a minimum. Installation time was approximately 3 hours. Cost was mostly labor since I provided most of the hardware (LED light fixtures, outlet, j-box, light switch).

Things went well. Scheduling was easy and quick. The technician, Bill, called and arrived within the scheduled time window. He did a thorough job in checking the system and answered me several questions, as this was the first time I had the system checked after I bought the house. I was happy to have the system checked.

It all went well. The technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions patiently. The only issue I had was the initial scheduling. It was hard to get a appointment unless you schedule it at least 2 weeks in advance.

Arnel called before he came. He performed the furnace inspection and also answered all the questions I had about the furnace safety. I had quite a few questions as I have a fairly old furnace. He went over the working, measured the CO emission and advised on how to take care of it

I was told that I had a window for the arrival of the technician who would call 30 minutes before arrival. Steve called and arrived early in the window given to me. After introductions, he laid out his plan for all the work that had to be done. He laid out the workload to make the most efficient use of his time, with no duplication or backtracking. He explained what he would do and after he finished, explained what he had found. I am very pleased with the work that he did. I also feel very comfortable in the knowledge that my furnace and air conditioner are in good working order. I had been very concerned about the condition of the ductwork, but he assured me that all was well. The cleaning of the dryer vent was something I had been thinking needed to be done. I had heard of dangerous situations when the vent was not cleared of the lint and junk that accumulates. Now I feel much more at ease. Then he made a very valuable suggestion: get a new flexible duct from the dryer to the vent opening because the one I had was prone to kinking. He told me what kind to get. I immediately went and bought one. I installed that easily.

The technician didn't do a good job but they came back and fixed the problem.

After I paid the advance fee, the provider said they don't serve my town. It then took 10 days to get the refund from Angie's List. Why is my town included in the email blast, but is not in the actual service area?

He was courteous, professional and seemed to do a thorough job. Checked all around under the crawl space to inspect heater ducts that had not been inspected in years. Found everything OK. Gave advice on some other issues pertaining to extending duct work. Cleaned and serviced the heater. Recommended changing the CO 2 monitor in our hallway -- never would have occurred to me that they could expire after a few years. Very satisfied and would certainly check them out first if we need any work done in the future.

Went well.. need better communication back..but otherwise the the call and fix went very well.

They worked some miracles getting everything installed in such a small space. A few knicks and dings here and there as they expanded some openings to fit the equipment, but they patched everything up after themselves. However, it was very expensive.

Service technician is puntual and polite. Cleaning up after work, and making recommendation to replace old heater if it breaks down.

The service was performed as advertised in a Big Deal. Service provider was prompt and efficient.

For the price, it was a great deal. They did a thorough furnace and duct system inspection and wrote up their recommendations clearly. The only drawback with Valley Heating, Cooling, and Electrical is that their lead times are pretty far out for service appointments.

So maybe I'm being a bit harsh here, but I'm a bit disappointed with the "process" with this company. I paid for the "special" $75 offer here on Angie's list, but when I was scheduling the appt. they asked if I knew of any problems, to which I answered "yes" I know that I have water surrounding the furnace (dripping from the coils? Their response "that isn't covered in special and it costs $15 more." OK, no big deal for $15. Next the guy came out, on time, as planned -- just fine. However, he told me that he would quote for a difficult repair at 4hrs due to my setup -- I liked how he "set expectations" during the conversation. Next step, they come out, on time, and perform the work, and finish up in just under 3 hrs. Looks like quality work and I'm happy with the fix. However, any maybe it's just me here, but I spent $90 on a 20min diagnostic + $565 on a 3hr fix (not 4hrs) and feel a bit "taken" by the whole experience. Why wasn't my diagnostic fee put towards the "final work", and why didn't I only get charged for 3hrs instead of 4? Next time, I'll ask better questions, and I hope you do too.

Tech was on time, and called before he arrived so that I would know exactly when to expect him. He performed a thorough inspection and did system maintenance. He asked if I had any concerns about the units (I did). When he was finished he came back and reported on what he found. The issues I was worried about were, in fact, operating fine! He did find some loose fittings and fixed all of those. He gave me a sheet detailing exactly what he had done, and what he hadn't. He didn't try to upsell me to anything else and sell me any service I didn't need. I would recommend this provider as honest and capable.

'Al' measured temperature of AC inlets and found they are below 65F so issues in it. We called for this service we thought AC is not providing sufficient cool air during hot days, turn out be it is working fine but Unit is small for our size home.
