Description of Work: Service rep arrived within the specified time frame. He was here to clean out the clothes dryer vent hose. When he removed the hose, he stated that this was a very short hose and because of this, it was basically cleaning itself. As such, there was no need for his cleaning this vent. He called his office and advised them of the situation. Valley Heating suggested that I request a refund from Angie's List. I was pleased with the way everything was handled, from the setting of the appointment to the conclusion of the service.

Description of Work: First they came out to inspect my air conditioner and heater. I have lived in this house since 1996 and have never had it inspected. Obviously the news was not good, and I expected it to be so. There were so many things wrong and dangerous. I really knew it was time to upgrade. The original equipment was installed in 1989. They replaced my air conditioner and heater, cleaned the ducts, repaired where needed (I had some disconnected air ducts). I also got a new wall unit to control the functions. Mine was beyond control. I believe they did some extra things, but can't recall. They were things the permit inspector would expect to see. Ironically, my air conditioner crashed three days before they were to install the new one. Upon inspection of the old conditioner, it looked like a horrid rat's nest and more. I can't believe I let it go for so long. Now I know better. I will get maintenance for the new system! By the way, they were a super crew. So professional and finished the project not in 3 days, but one day! A wonderful group to work with...I got my money's worth.

Description of Work: repaired outlets that had stopped working - determined issue was with different GFI. replaced another outlet, gave several tips to us; confirmed our upgrades electrical box was within code; unfortunately, did not perform another task we had asked, but explained why and did not provide excuses, very honest and straightforward, personable.

Description of Work: Overall, it went well despite not following through on the service. The vendor was very prompt in communicating that they would be unable to perform this service within an acceptable time frame. I would go back to this vendor again if a similar issue arises but with a more favorable timetable.

Description of Work: My ducts were attached to a suction machine, however, I was not shown how much if any material was collected from the ducts. I don't believe this was an effective way to clean ducts systems. Just my opinion
