Description of Work: My AC quit. The circuit breaker tripped and would not remain reset. Valley Heating sent an electrician who made a special effort to keep the appointment we had made. The problem was diagnosed as a bad capacitor and probably a bad motor. Another visit was scheduled and the problem was only with the capacitor. It was replaced. Cost $143.

Description of Work: Rich provided excellent routine maintenance HVAC service and inspection. He found a condensation valve that was substandard and repaired it as part of routine maintenance. He also recommended a needed replacement of the inducer assembly and performed repairs within 2 weeks. Cost was reasonable and discussed in advance of repairs.

Description of Work: Valley Heating installed a new furnace, new a/c, new ducts. Zac very helpful in identifying what I needed. The installers were also able to spot potential issues based on the existing ducting which led to me choosing a new duct system. It cost me more than I had planned but I ultimately am happy that I have a properly engineered HVAC system for my home.

Description of Work: Asked Electrician to take 2 separate circuits of can lights and rewire to have all on a single circuit with the 2nd switch repurposed to run a ceiling fan (which I had already installed). Electrician thought job would require opening up walls and take at least 4 hours requiring a new/longer appointment. I had to point out that it could be done by adding a single junction box (and cut the time in half!) with no holes. | |I was disappointed in the problem-solving capability of the electrician and his tendency to jump to cutting holes in my walls. This was my second service done by Valley. The first was GREAT. Quality of the work seems to be hit-and-miss with who they send.
