Looked him up on Angie's List. Promptly answered the phone. Very professional. Gave me the price and said they could come out tomorrow morning due to a cancelation. Told me the names of the guys who would be out to do the work and a two hour time window when they would arrive at my house. Said it would take about half an hour to do the work. Excellent! The 2 guys arrived 10 minutes early. Worked quickly and were done within the 30 minutes they told me it would take. Great job.

The recommendation was perfect. It's likely that without his help, I would have rendered services I didn't need and had a future electrical fire.

This event was scheduled and completed in a timely manner, the men arrived on their scheduled appointment and worked diligently and efficiently. Both men were professional and courteous.

Very pleased with the customer service from the initial phone call to the actual services provided. The two gentlemen that provided the service were friendly, thorough and provided tips on how to keep our home clean and minimize allergens. We were given a complimentary dryer vent cleaning and complimentary air filters since we found them on Angie's List. The service of air duct cleaning was a flat fee of $375 regardless...we only had a 858 sq ft condo cleaned vs. an entire house so that was why I gave a B grade for price. Regardless I would recommend this company to anyone.

Arrived promptly as scheduled and did a great job cleaning the vent. They even showed me how much lent was removed. Also trimmed the flexible dryer duct to allow better air flow.

These guys were great. On time. Courteous. Clean. All they promised and exactly how it was explained. They even went over & above by looking at my furnace and fixing something on it that they saw when they were up there cleaning the ducts. Saved me a ton of money in wasted energy bills for the future. Love them!

Two service people arrived: Josh and Casey. They were timely (window was from 8am-10am, and they were here at 8:10am); came with the needed materials; worked efficiently and effectively; were courteous and helpful. I will call them next year to service my 2 dryer lines.

The team came right on time, put down drop cloths to protect the floors as they brought in their equipment, and got right to work. I showed them around and we discussed the process. They went above and beyond to clean all the vents and even went under the house to fully clean out the long dryer vent. I was comfortable leaving them in the house while I went to work. They called when they were finished. Everything was very clean and working well when we got home. And the furnace had some nice, new filters.

They came in and used a blower and brush to clean out the dryer vent. It was full of lint. Afterwards they cleaned up all the lint and moved the dryer back into place. Very professional.

Josh and his colleague brought a large vacuum system into the house and some other pneumatic cleaning devices. They inspected each HVAC vent in turn and then ran the system through its paces, cleaning out each vent, the return and running a pneumatic system through the vents (with a semi-rigid hose), blowing out all residue from the duct system. They also cleaned an inspected the laundry dryer duct and vent system and did a minor inspection on the furnace itself. Everything went smoothly. Josh also reduced the length of an overly long flexible duct from the duct system to the furnace itself and finally found a minor gas leak in the regulator of the furnace. We settled up and Josh recommended strongly that I call PG&E for a full gas leak inspection. PG&E later arrived and did the gas leak inspection and minor repair of the furnace regulator leak free of charge. Overall I was quite impressed with Josh's crew's efficiency and professionalism. They also worked with us in driveway logistics (getting cars out, moving around) and also worked with me to relocate my cat to different rooms of the house while they did their work. I was very satisfied with the work and service.

Wonderful! I located this company by researching their reviews here. I felt very confident based on their solid A rating that they could do our job quickly and correctly. I was not disappointed. They showed up on time, quickly located the two problems we had in the dryer duct, fixed them, tested the system, and then took the time to explain to us how to keep the system functioning for years to come. The price I paid was directly in line with the estimate I received over the phone. I would not hesitate to have them come out again to perform routine maintenance on our ducts or repairs if needed.

We contacted them on a Thursday for an estimate. They were very thorough about detailing what would be done. We decided to hire them and had the work done two days later on a Saturday. They were prompt, efficient, respectful of light colored carpeting and our cats who had to be shut in one room and then have that room done last. They were experts in their field and did not do this work as a "side job". This is what they do and they do it well!

They were prompt, on time, friendly and did alot of extras that alot of other companies wouldn't do. They cleaned up after themselves and they were reasonably prices. They also gave me free filters and other things like that.

They did a fabulous job. They were friendly, knew where to look for the dead rodents and then were very meticulous in cleaning the air vents. They also put in a new air filter and cleaned the vent guards of any dust build-up. They cleaned up after themselves perfectly.

I discussed the procedure with the father of the team and was told that they would create a vacuum near the furnace and then blow out the dust/debree toward that vacuum. This was the procedure that had been described to me by other bidders and this was the procedure that I was told I would get. Instead, they used each vent opening to place the vacuum and then used compressed air to blow the dust back up to the vent opening and the vacuum. They brought a shop vac with them but didn't use it to good advantage. They left a mess around several of the vents. It's hard to tell the effect of the work since I can't inspect the vents. I think these guys have a good reputation because they're punctual and polite but I cannot vouch for their effectiveness. I give them a lower grade because they did not deliver the service that they promised.

I'm very happy with everything about The Vent Cleaner's service -- from getting the original quote, scheduling and the service itself. I talked to Joe, the owner, on the phone and really felt comfortable with the information he gave me. His quote was also the best one I got of the highest rated Angie's List companies in this category. Josh and Casey arrived on time (they also called 1/2 hour prior to arrival, as I requested). They were both professional and friendly in answering questions I had. They did a thorough service and clean up. I definitely recommend using The Vent Cleaner and would hire them again.

The brothers worked professionally, kept things very clean, were friendly, knowledgeable and on time. Probably could have gotten a better price elsewhere but they came highly recommended on Angie's list so the prompt timeline in which they could do the work made the cost worth it to us.

It took about a month before we noticed any significant difference with everything having to "settle", but after several months I can honestly say that for our multi-pet household, allergies have SIGNIFICANTLY improved at least 95%! I honestly can't remember the exact date we did this, and had intentions of critiquing sooner, but it has been at least 6 months and allergies continue to be abated. With or without pets, you would be doing yoursef and fellow sufferers a favor by having this done, cuz they certainly did right by me!

They were very friendly and professional. They provided the service. They talked about it over the phone. They showed up early. They kind of reported their progress and findings. They did a really good job. I think one of the workers was the actual owner of the company. I had no complications with them, and everything is holding up well. Their price was fair. I had no problems with the quality of their work. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.
