The cleaners from The Vent Cleaner Company did very well. They gave me a senior discount which was the best thing about them. They were able to figure out what the problem was. The clean up was really good because once they removed all of the stuck lint from the vent; it fell on to the ground which they cleaned up. Some of the companies won’t do that but they did a very good job with cleaning up after themselves.

It was a pleasure to call this company and get a real person immediately. They were polite, professional and very accommodating to my schedule. I was given a quote by phone, including a detailed explanation of what that price would cover and what, if any, additional costs might be incurred. The representive arrived at my home on time, worked quickly and professionally and did an excellent job. The price was as quoted with no additional costs. I was very pleased with all aspects of the service and would definitely use them again!

Our dryer was taking two hours to dry clothes. We suspected the dryer vent was clogged and called the Vent Cleaners. The man who came out quickly determined that the vent under the house had started to flex and there was very little airflow. He recommended that we replace the vent under the house with a sheet metal one. He credited the visit toward the replacement and on a subsequent visit put the new one in. Now we get really great airflow and the dryer is back to drying quickly. Very friendly and professional. Definitely recommended!

I called and got the father/owner who assured me his sons, the workers, would take care of everything. They did! They came that week and thoroughly cleaned out the vent and reattached my dryer. They were very selfsufficient, I did not watch them at all. My dryer works 100 times better now! I did have it cleaned out once before I moved in, about 3 years ago by a handiman, and there is no comparission. These guys really know how to get your vent completely clear and working GREAT! I would recommend asking them to vacuum the area after they work as my laundry room was a little messy afterwards.

They did a good job. I don't think there was anything extraordinary about it one way or the other. I was pleased with what they did. They were professional about it and everything went well. Their price was high.

My house inspector (for my new home) saw a build up of dryer lint on the vent exhaust outside the house. He told me I should I have the vents cleaned so I called "The Vent Cleaner". They were prompt and courteous. When they arrived they disconnected the dryer from the vent and hooked up a blower to the vent. They determined that the vents were not clogged and did not need cleaning. They explained the following to me: 1. I have a long-running vent that has a supplemental motorized fan to help "suck" air through the long vent. They showed me the location of the motor the garage ceiling (gray box). 2. The vent motor is triggered by the dryer first pushing air through the vent. 3. Build up of lint on the outside of house's exhaust is a _good_ sign. It means that lint is making it through the vents. 4. I can test the system: start the dryer to get the vent motor to start, stop the dryer, remove the dryer's lint catcher, put my hand by the dryer's lint catch hole and feel for air being sucked into the vents by the vent motors. So long as I feel suction the system is clear and working. They were in & out within 15 minutes. It's a bummer I had to pay the full amount since they didn't have to snake anything through the vent to clean it (for that I gave their price a B rating). At least I learned more about my new house. And I think my house inspector is more to blame for lost money by making me paranoid that the vents needed cleaning.

They showed up on time, performed the work as promised, and gave us valuable information about our heater. After the vents were cleaned, the respiratory issues we were experiencing went away. Would definitely use them again.

The dryer vent is a long run and has been clogged for years. This was the third time I tried to get it cleaned out, but this is the first time I tried someone from Angie's List. (Both previous servicemen recommended I run a new vent to a different outside wall!) The two servicemen from The Vent Cleaner arrived on time (my house is difficult to find) and had my vent clear in about 15 minutes. They were very professional, cheerful, and even nice to my elderly dog. They charged the agreed-to price with no add on for driving 8 miles up a mountain road.

First I called these guys to take a look at the bathroom vent which was making a very loud noise. I thought that if I had it cleaned it would make less noise. The guy came in and was very honest to say that even if he cleaned the motor it wouldn't make any difference regarding the noise. He was very sincere and honest so I got him to do something else (dryer duct cleaning). I'm just going to buy a new vent fot the bathroom and hire The Vent Cleaner whenever I need a duct cleaned.

They were very helpful in giving me clear information about what the job would entail. They were able to do the work right away. They used the new negative pressure technology instead of the roto-brush. The gas fan cleaning was a messy job and there was some debris left behind and smudges on the ceiling so I did have to do some clean up after they left.

Great experience - they arrived, unhooked the dryer, had one guy at the outside of the vent and a second guy at the dryer connection. The outside guy had long poles with brushes; inside guy had a blower and they cleaned out all the accumulated lint in about 20 minutes. The dryer finishes in under an hour now after taking several hours previously.

It was great. He showed up early, cleaned the vent thoroughly and quickly, and was friendly and professional. He answered my questions and was just helpful in general. This is the third time I've used this company, and I will continue to do so.

Really well. I called on Monday and was able to schedule the work for Friday morning. Jim and his assistant arrived on time and set about vacuuming up the vents. For the most part they left the house clean - there was one scuff mark on the hardwood floors and some dirt in the kitchen sink - both easily cleanable. Before leaving Joe showed me the furnace filters and how to replace them. He did not have the right kind in his truck, but said that we could get them easily; which we could. We are quite happy with the service and will call him when we need the vents cleaned again.

Arrived as promised and on time, very professional service, explained how the process worked and proceeded with the cleaning. Job was completed in about 1.5 hours. The price was $250 less that that famous company that advertises on TV including the current 33% off promotion.

They are very good, very professional, timely, finished work super quickly, and cleaned up after himself. I was very surprised for how much it cost compared to how little time really was spent cleaning it but called around to about 10 other companies, and this was the cheapest anywhere by FAR.
