I liked his demeanor. He was responsive to phone calls and emails. He took care of the job on time when stated. The job went very smoothly. We're very happy with the results. I would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: They installed three 4-inch LED canned lights and a dimmer switch in a room that had no overhead lighting.

In 2000, Home Depot of Campbell subcontracted the electrical work of our kitchen renovation to Taylor Electric. They initially started out doing a decent job, but the finished undercounter lights were not working. A couple times they fixed it and then the 8 lights would blow out again within a week. We asked them to fix it and they demanded more money. Even after they fixed it, they would send an invoice for more money, and we paid it the first time (big mistake!). And then they would keep sending an invoice for a $1000 more and even call and demand we pay more. A truly unethical business they were. Since that installation in 2000, we've had other electricians come and fix and replace those same lights, and they have examined the quality of the materials and quality of the work and told us this was a shoddy job. Even thought this took place 10 years ago, my husband and I clearly remember this company. I was surprised to log into Angie's list today and be asked if I was familiar with this company and its services. I had no problems sharing my experience with other members. Maybe Taylor Electrical has changed its practices, maybe they haven't. Just be forewarned!

Had several household electrical problems involving lighting issues. Was going to call appliance service for an inactive dishwasher, but he was able to pull off a panel and figure out what was wrong. He then fixed everything and worked quickly without rushing.
Description of Work: Ken, the owner, came out and worked quickly and effectively on 4 different projects.

They were so nice to work with. Even thought the job was kind of small, they took the time to sit with me and answer some questions I had about other things. They offered their advice about a dry wall project I was setting up, recommending that I coordinate between the dry wall person and electrical ahead of time to coordinate schedules efficiently.
Description of Work: Taylor Electrical re-routed a television for me and fixed some outlets.
