He has a wonderful sense of humor, and I wholeheartedly recommend him for any electrical jobs, large or small; you won't be disappointed.

Tami is great to work with. He knows his trade very well. I hired him to install a new ceiling fan and electrical outlet. Due to the way my house was built, he advised me not to have it installed as he felt there was a danger of it falling down. I really appreciated the honesty. He ended up installing a light fixture instead. He was efficient, did good work, and cleaned up after himself. A few days later, my wife and I decided we didn't like the fixture and the tone of light it put off. I bought a new one and texted Tami to ask about the electrical box he installed. He immediately responded that he would come the next morning and install the new one free of charge. He went above and beyond here. I will be calling TK Electric the next time I need an electrician.

Scope of Work: Tami completely rewired our 2000 sq. foot home to 2016 code. He also installed a hard-wired L2 car charging station. The work was comprehensive, including a main panel replacement, as well as new sub panels - including one in our detached garage. Every wire, circuit breaker, switch and outlet was replaced and at our request, so were all ceiling fans and lighting fixtures (interior and exterior). New lighting fixtures were also added to each closet, basement, attic and garage. Quality of work: His work was fast, clean, of high quality and his pricing was more than fair. His knowledge of building code is complete. Our home was built in 1918 with plenty of plaster on walls and ceilings. Tami has experience working with older homes and handled our job well - not a single plaster crack. Going above and beyond: Tami is focused on customer satisfaction and did many things, free of charge, not called out in his original scope of work. For example: adding additional outlets, switches and light fixtures in convenient locations that we identified after work had started. Tami is also accessible; not once did I call his phone when he didn't answer. I would not hesitate working with Tami again or recommending him to others.

We had Tammy over for EV plug-in charger installation. We were so happy that we asked him to install LED light fixtures and a fan as well. He is extremely professional, knows in-out about the changes needs to be done, very meticulous and on time. This is the first time we have hired an electrician. And we are really happy with our first experience.

We agree with all the glowing reviews about TK Electric/Tami. Viewers will be pleasantly surprise that when you call TK Electric, you will speak directly to Tami, the owner, (TK = Tami = his initials). When I first called him yesterday around 2pm - a Friday afternoon, just before a weekend, for same-day work - he explained he was working in someone’s attic. He asked me to call back in 5 mins, so he could get his pen from his truck to write down our address/phone #. I was very impressed that he would immediately crawl out of that attic to get our contact info. He told me he would be available after he completed his (next) 3pm job. When Tami first called us, he was already parked in front of our condo around 4:30 pm. After giving us a free estimate,Tami quickly got to work, and then went to a nearby Home Depot for necessary parts, after we showed him the 3 items we needed him to replace: 1. a wall outlet that had gotten overloaded and slightly fried - (He installed a GFCI wall plug to protect against future overload) - 2. an on/off dimmer switch for the dining room light (he told me it had been mis-wired with the wrong sized wire nut connectors, that could have eventual caused a fire - 3. an upstairs bathroom switch for the ceiling fan/ light that got stuck in the ON position. In order to turn it off, we had to turn off the circuit breaker for the bathroom, the upstairs hall, and light over the stairs. This was crucial and not good at night, because I got hit by brain cancer/surgery that permanently affects my right-side limbs. Tami was a Godsend, and completed all work in an hour, by 5:30 pm, including all cleanup. We are SO amazed and grateful for his timely, punctual, ‘above and beyond’ professionalism and friendly/helpful attitude - and we will not hesitate to highly recommend Tami to anyone. He even called us back today, to make certain we were satisfied with his work yesterday. Tami is the REAL deal, and most impressive, dedicated, caring contractor I have ever seen - PERIOD

We purchased a home that needed a majior remodel and an addition which required a complete rewiring of the entire house. After getting estimates from several electrical contractors we hired Tami from TK Electric. He explained the process and installation and came up with many electrical options and ideas that were not in the plans. The project was on time, on budget and we passed all electrical inspections on the first inspection. He added warranties on all his work. His work was excellent and his price was fair. We would highly recommend TK Electric for your project.

Tami holds himself to a very high standard. He does not work just as a source of money but rather he really enjoys what he does, is exceptionally detailed, and unlike many contractors, wants to see his work completed to the customers satisfaction before getting paid. In addition, we only had one change order, which was my request. So, what he bids is what you pay. Tami completed my project, which was a panel and main breaker changeout, with three new sub panels, and a complete re-wire of a 1955 Duplex. All was completed with no drywall damage except to re-locate receptacles to code, and the only ceiling damage was due to relocation of ceiling lights and fans. He brought both kitchens, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, and a garage to current code requirements using LED lighting for all but 4 closet lights and 2 garage fluorescent lights. Tami spent many hours helping select lighting and fans for the project, taking the time to explain benefits of his recommendations and reasons some of our selections were inappropriate. He provided all electrical for another contractor to upgrade the Duplex to new attic-installed forced A/C & heat units as well as the condensers. All exterior lighting was updated to motion-controlled LED lighting. Tami does not just do a job, he thinks about the needs of the customer, not just what is needed now, but looks ahead to include items I never thought about, including water-proof outlets under the eves for Christmas lighting, outlets under the structure in the crawl space for future contractor use if needed, code correct irrigation timers, water-proof and locking exterior outlets. Be sure to detail work in writing as the one area of potential problems could stem from a language misunderstanding. In summary, I would not hesitate to hire TK Electric in the future and consider him to be one of few fair and honest contractors in the area, and, he finished the project BEFORE our deadline.

Tami is a skilled electrician with a cheerful disposition. He aided in the purchase and installed three light fixtures for me. The recommendations he made were very helpful and resulted in much improved lighting in my home. I was impressed by his hard work at the end of a long day and by his cheery good humor. I would definitely hire him again.
