SWAN POOLS

The saleswoman and "pool designer" was by far the most professional and "enlightened" of any pool company we got bids from (others were men who didn't believe a woman could have any intelligence). For the most part the work was a grade D. The added shelves were installed wrong and had to be redone. The lights were not installed correctly (and not sure they will pass code). The worst of it is the plaster job. The plaster is mottled and streaked. You can see trowel marks, and footprints. They drained the pool to acid wash it and that's when we found that the plaster didn't even cover the bottom, you could see the bond coat and granite underneath. Swan is a very difficult company to work with. There is no single project manager who you can work with. They don't have voicemail or cell phones. If you don't call them during their 8-3 working hours, you have to go through an answering service. Price was about middle of the 5 bids we received. I would NEVER recommend them.

They build custom swimming pools in ground or on ground. I did not feel that the boss was very helpful in answering my questions at all. I think that the price was high for installation. I did have a one year warranty on the work and against leaks. I do feel that I could have built the pool for half the price.

They were great. I mean they were phenomenal. They did a wonderful job with the pool. From breaking ground to us swimming in the pool, they did everything in six weeks. That was fast. I don't know of any other pool company that can do everything that good.

OVERALL IT WAS A DECENT EXPERIENCE, BUT THERE WERE PARTS OF THE PROCESS THAT DID NOT HAPPEN ON-TIME, AND OUR SERVICE WAS NOT THE BEST. I CALLED TO COMPLAIN AT ONE POINT AND HAD A SCREAMING MATCH WITH MY SALESMAN.
