+ -1 moreThe end result just did not live up to my expectations. The plants she used just don't have the impact I had hoped for. I could have spent many, many hours researching the plants myself. I mistakenly deferred to her in this area, she is the expert, after all. Also, I had asked for a small area to be set aside for annuals. I wanted a splash of color by the front door that I could change with the seasons. Ms. Osaka is hard over on the sustainable side of landscaping. The words "annuals to be provided by owner" were in her plan but she in no way actually accommodated my wishes. When all was said and done, there was no real room left for annuals; they are crowded out by the other plants. Also, she did not plan for the irrigation of these plants. I asked her how I was supposed to keep them watered. Her response was that I could either water them by hand or significantly over water the plants surrounding the annuals. She is very pleasant and can be very professional. Some of her designs are quite nice. My experience, though was very negative. I feel she only paid lip service to my desires and implemented her agenda instead.
Description of Work: Ms. Osaka redesigned my front yard. She drew up all plans and schematics and worked with the contractor to implement her design.
