SERRANO CLEANING SERVICES

I purchased my condo in 2003 and was told by the previous homeowner that the stains could not be removed. I have lived with them the entire time but not after I tried every chemical recommended to remove the stains and nothing worked. I am getting my place ready to sell and my real estate agent said I need to rip out that tub, that my condo is very nice but they are going to see that tub and shower door and see work they have to do. I once again purchased a bunch of chemicals and spent a day trying to get it clean with no luck. I thought I should try a professional apartment cleaning company, I could send a picture and they will tell me if they can get it clean. I sent through RFP on Angies List and Serrano was the first and only company that responded. He saw the picture and said he could get it clean. I still thought when he arrived at my house he would see it and change his mind. An hour later my tub looks brand new, everything is shiny, including the shower door. I have never seen it look so good, it was the best money I spent. I was shocked at how good it looked. I would highly recommend this company.

Jose did an excellent job! He spent several hours cleaning shelves, floors, appliances, etc. He is very detailed and thorough. The house never looked so good. Jose called us the day before to re-confirm the appointment. Would definitely hire him again.

We used Mr. Serrano and his crew for regular, biweekly cleaning throughout 2015. They did a wonderful job. The house always looked and smelled clean following their visits. The sinks were shiny and the carpet had fresh vacuum marks. Most recently we used their services to thoroughly clean out the house we'd rented for 24 months. They did an amazing job on a 3 Bed 2 Bath house and all for around $300. If we still lived in San Jose, we would continue to use their services.

Jose and his team did an excellent job. They were responsive to my phone call asking about their services, were able to come quite quickly after my call. A team of about 5 cleaners, headed by Jose, came and set to work immediately. They were fast and thorough. When they left, I was amazed at how sparkling the faucets in the kitchen and bathrooms were, and the shower and tub also looked just great. I highly recommend their services.

I was most impressed that they got the tub sparkling white again. The porcelain finish has been worn down over time and the tub stains easily; it is impossible for me to get it clean but they did! I was worried that I would have to reglaze the tub at additional expense. They gave the floors a good scrub and the windows now are almost invisible they are so clean. Great job!

The rate listed is per-visit. Jose and his crew are fast, hard working, and very detailed oriented. They do whole-house cleans for us every other week in a 1700 sqft house. They clean 2 full bathrooms, the kitchen, living room, and vacuum and mop the whole house (the unit has hardwood everywhere). They typically get all of this done in 1.5 to 2 hours. We have 3 dogs, so we gets tons of hair. They do one extra, less-frequent thing with each visit: last time they cleaned the oven vent, previously they cleaned the blinds, and before that the tops of the baseboards. When he came in for the initial estimate, he was very nice, efficient, and to the point. His communication is excellent; he responds very quickly and is flexible. I'm very happy we found his services.

Jose's company was highly rated, so I had high expectations, but I was still awed by the superb job they did on my move-out cleaning. I had originally planned to do the cleaning myself, but I fell behind in packing and didn't think I would have time to do what was required, so I hired Serrano Cleaning Services. I made an appointment with Jose for an estimate. We did a walk through and I pointed out the areas that my lease required for move-out cleaning: oven, refrigerator, walls, etc., as well as areas that would take extra time, like the bathrooms and the hood over the stove. Jose made an estimate and we set a date for the day after I'd have all the furniture and belongings moved out. On the day of my move, I discovered a lot of extra dirt and cleaning that would have to be done, particularly in the master bedroom. Jose is very responsive to email, so I sent him an email warning that the master might take extra time and to add on whatever additional cost was necessary to the estimate. I checked in with Jose's team once the cleaning was started. They weren't done yet, but I was amazed at how much better the place looked already. It practically sparkled. Jose assured me that the master bedroom would be fine, not to worry about it. Sure enough, when the cleaning was done, the master, the baths, the kitchen, everything was spotless. Jose pointed out all the things they had cleaned that I forgot to ask for: pulling out the fridge and cleaning behind and under it, the grills on the furnace and fridge vents, baseboards, window sills, etc., etc. The final payment was just a little over the original estimate, less than I expected given the state of the master bedroom. I highly recommend Serrano Cleaning Services and would use again. Don't worry if you have no carpets, Jose's company is extremely good at doing move-out cleanings when no carpet cleaning is involved.

I sent Serrano Cleaning Services an email message requesting a price quote and Jose responded quickly. However, another company was able to clean my condo sooner and was a little cheaper in price so I went with the other company. The other company didn't end up showing up at the scheduled appointment time so I called Jose to see if I could schedule an appointment after all. Within the hour, I met Jose at my condo, walked through all the work which needed to be performed, and received a price quote. While the price was slightly more than the other company, Jose seemed very trustworthy and was very professional. I needed the condo cleaned and he was able to fit me in with a Monday morning appointment. On Monday morning, I checked in with Jose and he and his crew were at my condo. He let me know approximately 20 minutes before they were finished so I could go by and make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Before they had cleaned my bathroom, I had mold all over the tiles and grout-- it was disgusting. I was in awe at how sparkling white the tiles were. I even thought they caulked the grout because there was no mold to be found. They hadn't-- just scrubbed it clean. The kitchen was equally spotless and he handed me a couple of plates I had accidentally left in the cabinets. The sliding glass door was so clean, I thought the door was open. I was amazed at what a great job they did and wondered why I never hired a cleaning company before (especially when I still lived there)! Jose also sent me a copy of my receipt per my request. He did so within hours of my request and even reminded me to send him my email address so he could do so. Overall, I was extremely pleased with the services. I would highly recommend his company to others and would definitely use them again!

Just sold my house and Jose worked with me to schedule an early Saturday appointment on my move out day. I wanted to leave the house spotless for the new owners, and Jose and team did just that. Bathrooms spotless. Kitchen as well, and they did a great job on getting all the tough spots in the refer clean. Great service and price. Now I'll need to find someone as good in Sacramento. Thank you Jose! My house was going on the market later that week. I called Jose on short notice and he was able to get me on his schedule. He and two others showed up on time and knocked out everything in an hour. Bathrooms were spotless. Kitchen has not been that clean and shiny for a while. All of the little pieces from the new carpet install were cleaned up. I am very happy with the service and price.

They are our regular cleaning coming to the house every other week. Jose is very friendly and is responsive to any concerns we bring up. They help keep our place tidy and clean for our baby to roam around the house. They do a good job. It is nice to come home on cleaning day to see everything tidied up. Pricing is reasonable.

They showed up on time and they were friendly. We have small home, a little over 800sf. One of the rooms was excluded from the cleaning, so they did not have a large area to clean. The price for this house cleaning was $180, but the cleaning was not good. They missed several spider webs, they did not dust thoroughly, the oven was not cleaned properly and they did not move the refrigerator to clean behind or besides. 2 out of 7 promised windows were not cleaned at all. All that missing and yet they charged $180?? The carpet cleaning was good. We called them back and asked them to do it right. They came back, hastily went through the house again, still missed dust and webs, cleaned the 2 missing windows sloppy and left. We will not use this service again.

Called me, set up a time, called me 15 minutes before starting out, arrived, did his work, was polite. What else could one wish for?

Happy with the service so far. They have come 3 times and have been punctual and polite. Jose is easy to work with and responsive to my inquiries. My house is clean when they leave, and that is the best part. :o) I wish there was a more formal write up of exactly the services they performed, but they are friendly and easy to talk to so when I have had concerns or wanted something extra they have been very compliant.

Jose and his team have cleaned my home for the past three months, and they have done a great job. Jose is very straightforward about how he appreciates constructive feedback so that he can make his business better, and as a customer I appreciate that perspective. The crew cleans well and works fast. I would definitely recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Serrano is a great service!

This service was to the upstairs of my house which had been neglected for many years. My son just moved to go to college and so it was definitely time to get things in order. Jose cleaned the carpets, including removal of many pet stains. All the windows upstairs were cleaned inside and outside, including the windowsills. All mildew and grunge was removed from the bathtub/shower. I now have a bathtub that looks brand new! A big thank you to Jose and his team. I'll be using his service again in the future.

This was one of the best service experiences I can remember. Jose gave me an estimate for the cleaning Friday evening and preformed the service the following day. He called to let us know they were on the way and arrived on time as promised. They were fast, courteous and extremely professional: the cleaning took approximately 1 1/2 hours and our windows sparkled when they were finished. I will not hesitate to call Serrano Cleaning Services in the future and will most likely avail myself of additional services such as carpet and house cleaning.

I began using Serrano Cleaning two months ago. I have been using Jose's service on a bi-weekly basis and every time I have been very pleased with the service. Both Jose and his assistant cleaners are very nice and professional. I also had him clean my carpet, windows and cleaned all my blinds. All three jobs were done well. I would highly recommend you do business with Serrano Cleaning!

The first couple of cleanings were very good, but then I noticed that our bathroom and bathtub were not being cleaned very thoroughly. I sent Jose an email notifying him of the problem and the next time they cleaned I noticed a big improvement in the quality of the job. Ever since them we have not had any issues. Jose himself is very responsive and polity - he always responds to my emails within a couple of hours (or sooner!). The people that he has sent to our home are also very courteous and respectful. Sometimes they even empty all of the garbage bins in our house, even though we had agreed that this was something that they didn't have to do. I have tried 2 other cleaning services on Angie's List (with much better ratings), but neither of those companies were as good as this one. The biggest difference I have noticed, other than just being pleasant and responsive, is that our area rugs are actually clean when the crew leaves. With the other companies, I would always have to vacuum again myself because their vacuums were awful and hardly picked up anything. I would definitely recommend Serrano Cleaning and advise any new customers to not be afraid to let Jose know if something needs more attention - I know that he will fix it.

They are used to cleaning smaller houses but they charged me for cleaning a big house and didn't clean it as properly as they would have cleaned a small house and I thought that was really strange. I wasn't really satisfied. I think their pricing was pretty high for the job they did.

I was very impressed with Jose when I initially met him. He promised many things but failed to provide them on the initial cleaning. Jose told me that the first cleaning would be $250.00 and that my shower doors would be sparkling, the green grime around the faucets would be removed, windows would be cleaned and the house would overall have a sparkling look. Our rate every other week would then be $130.00. I agreed and so Jose came to my house with his team on June 4, 2013 for the first time. He was there for a total of 2 hours and did not complete anything extra that he had promised for the first cleaning. Instead, they did not even take out the garbages in the bathrooms or the kitchen and told me that it was customary for him for all his clients NOT to take out garbages. This shocked my as what the heck are we hiring you for!! No windows were done, shower doors done poorly, the stove was not wiped down, no grime in the bathrooms removed. I called Jose and complained that the job was done poorly and if you could not deliver then perhaps you should have not charged the full amount. He promised he would do it the next time. On June 19, 2013 Jose and his team once again came. They were a bit better but he once again was rushing and said he could not do the windows. I told him that this was wrong since I had paid him already and this was one of the things to be done in the initial contract. Jose was reluctant but did only HALF the windows and said I will do the other half when I return in 2 weeks. I feel Jose and his team rush and don't do a good job. Jose was supposed to come on July 3, 2013. He told me he would be there at 3pm. I waited and waited and called and left several messages. At 4pm he called me back and told me that he was there at 3 and I was not home. I told him impossible since I had been waiting. He then recanted his story and said he got there at 245 and waited 10 minutes and then left as no one opened the door. I was out running errands and was home by 250pm. His timing and customer service is not good and to collect money up front and not complete the job is very poor on his business. I will not have Jose return.
