Went exceptionally well! From help choosing the right carpet to measuring, removing furniture and replacing it, and installing the new, I was very pleased. The installers were very professional and friendly. did an excellent job.

Work was well scheduled and Barbara White helped us in our selections. We did have to pick up our baseboards, bring them home and paint them ourselves, which didn't seem right. and was an inconvience.

Knowledgeable sales staff and exceptional carpet installation crew. Neat, punctual, clean and quick. We did the moving beforehand which saved us some $ but was quite exhausting. For some reason the store sales staff does not use a scanner and could not email the estimate. That was a bit disconcerting. I would expect them to upgrade to one and keep some soft copy records. However, we would use them again and we are very, very pleased with the purchase and the results. The installation crew was at our house on Sunday at 8:15 AM as promised and out of the house with the old carpet by about 10:00. I had already painted the rooms between the time I ordered the carpet and the final installation and the rooms now look perfect. As stated, we used Sand G before for hardwood floors in our Master Bedroom, hallway and stairs after our flooring contractor recommended them, so we had a fairly good level of trust and expectation going in.

Outstanding Customer Service. I went to their store with measurements scrawled on a piece of notepaper. They helped me to find the most economical way to get home carpeted in two rooms and hardwood floor in another. We also found the linoleum for both of our bathrooms and kitchen from Sand G. I wish I could remember the woman's name. She was such a help. She also offered me find a Contractor to professionally install the products, but I already had someone lined up to do the work. I am about to go see if they have any remnants for our grandkids playroom. I highly recommend Sand G. PS... I'm fuzzy on the date we purchased these items...

They did an excellent job. It was not an easy staircase to do and it turned out great. They were professional and responsive. I would highly recommend them.

Estimate as promised but way overpriced compared with other extimate. Everything was piecemeal, material, labor, pad, moving refrigerator, moving stove. The estimate looked like a hospital bill.

We did not go forward with installation, we had a change of plans, but would go back to Sand G again when we are ready. The showroom salesman was attentive, polite, and very informative. He came out and gave us an estimate and was punctual. We did have to call him a couple of days later to check on the status of the bid, but he delivered 24hours later. All in all, a good experience that left us trusting this company.

Susan provided excellent service. She worked hard to get the best price possible, and the company had high quality stock which was important to me since I was on a tight schedule. The installers came on time, and the installation went fine.

Love the carpet. Love the installation. Installer was prompt to the minute and did the work in half a day. Very happy with the work. Wish the price had been lower, but they were the lowest bid.

Overall it was fantastic. We decided not to use them because the tile we have now had special glue and it would have cost me more to do the job so I decided to keep what I had. It was a very positive experience.

Excellent experience, from the showroom to the installation. The service was great, price was fair and I'd definitely go back to them for future needs.

We went into the S and G Carpet store in Pleasanton and chose a carpet and pad that we liked. Someone came out to our house to do the measurements. We then received a quote for the installation. We set the installation date. They came out on that date and installed the entire carpet in 1 day. They did a great job. Everything went well and the price was what they quoted us.

We put a deposit down and they were supposed to get it in 15 - 20 days. Time went by and they never called so called and they said they would follow up on it. About 2 months later we finally told them to forget it, they weren't able to get the carpet we ordered but they wouldn't tell us until we pressured them. They should have handled the situation differently and let us know what was going on, but they handled it poorly. I had to follow up, it would have been different if they would have followed up. The bottom line is that we tried to buy carpet and they couldn't deliver it, we got tired of waiting so we just canceled the order. We did get our deposit back.

They were timely and cooperative when I delayed the installation date due to needed termite work. They were flexible about deleting baseboards from the order when I decided to buy them locally.

They did not bring samples but they weren’t exactly what we were looking for, so I went down to their store room late yesterday. I brought some samples back to my mothers and she has them on the floor today to see them in a different light. She is 91 years old, so we are looking for something that is very short so nothing catches when she uses the walker at night. We are also looking for something that is not too bouncy. My sister was there and liked the fact that he had a Lazer measure as appose to a physical tape, so it was more accurate and faster. They were very cordial but the carpets they brought were plush carpets and they were a little too sick. They did not respond to what I asked to be brought. We had a good experience in the showroom with a man with the given criteria; he showed up much more appropriate material. He came early than the time we worked out convenient for my mother, sister and I. They phoned in the measurement at 5 o’clock like they said he would and gave us the price with the padding we were looking for. They were also very nice about loaning us the samples.

Excellent installers. They also left the house spotless as well.

The work went on very well. They were very helpful and did what said they would do. They did the work on time and at the cost that they had estimated. We chose them for their price, helpfulness and their inventory, as they had what we wanted. We were happy with them.

They had good prices and they did a nice job. They did everything that they said they would do. One nice thing they did was that they didn’t charge me for padding. I had purchased carpeting and padding, and when the installers came and tore up the old carpeting, they said that the padding that was there was in excellent shape and that there was no reason to replace it. They installed the new carpeting over the old padding. It was very nice of them to do that. I thought that it was pretty professional to not sell me new padding. I had 800 sq. ft. of carpet installed and it cost me about $3200. I didn’t shop around a lot but I thought that it was a fair price, and I was happy with it. I would use them again in the future.

They've got very attractive promotion 2000 off evry 10000 purchase, and they have ready instock hardwood floor that we like. We compare the prices with 3 different hardwood installer, they have the best deal. The only drawback is their hardwood installer do their job in a rush, so, the quality is a bit off.. If they take more time to install it, the outcome will be perfect. In addition, they make it really hard for cust to request to repair it. In other hand, their carpet installer is bvery good, very neat, and do everything perfectly.

Representative came and took measurements; I never heard from the company again. Never received my estimate.

The salesperson was nice and they let me take home samples. The installation was excellent. He did the kitchen and bathroom with vinyl flooring. He did the kitchen first and I requested the same installer to come back to do the bathroom. He cleaned up nicely. He was prompt and on time. Their prices were competitive. Some of the other sales persons may have been more knowledgeable than mine, but he was friendly. The call back was not very responsive as I would have liked it to be. I will be using them in the future.

We had our 4 bedrooms carpeted (approx. 640 sq ft). The estimator was on-time as promised, gave a clear explanation of the the work and set the time for installation. The installers came on-time and even told us the pads we had were much better quality and still in good condition. They recommended to leave the pads and they would credit back the difference. They sent a $267 check to us a few days later.

They did great work and it was of the highest quality. They were timely in finishing the job. They were courteous and very knowledgeable. I am very pleased with my floor.

Sales: Very low key, allowed us to take home samples (including the only floor sample sometimes) often, and were very accommodating to us taking our time to choose. Installation: Vinyl guy helped laminate crew rip up old tile, as it also extended into the bathroom he needed to redo. Also had to take out 30" vanity in same bathroom, and he removed / re-installed with no fuss. Laminate crew was very good overall, asking lots of questions, being clean and thorough. Had two places where baseboard wasn't quite done how I would have liked, but overall still rate 90+/100. Biggest complaint would be on responsiveness; numerous phone calls not returned once we started the process. We have two other rooms we're planning on re-flooring (haven't decided on carpet vs. laminate yet). We will most likely be using Sand G again.

My large room was floored with brick tile over cement. I was concerned about the cost and effort of removing the brick. The Sand G estimator determined that with a firm pad, I could carpet right over it. He was also able to help me lay out the installation so that the main part of the floor has no seams, and the amount of carpet I needed to purchase was minimized with hardly any waste. I went to the store many times trying to decide on color. The sales staff were always ready to assist me but there was absolutely no pressure and I could take as long as I wanted. There was no problem taking samples home for a few days at a time. Their prices are very reasonable for high-quality carpet. The installers did a great job (over two days, to glue tack strips to my brick). The carpet looks great; you can't see the seams, and I can't feel the brick underneath.
