Description of Work: Made a quick repair of my gas burners by just cleaning the opening-no extra charge. And also told me how to do the maintenance myself. |I also needed a major dishwasher repair for my Fisher Paykel dishwasher. Not all companies are qualified to repair this brand. Part was ordered and repair made in timeframe promised Excellent service and knowledgeable service persons. I will definitely use them again and even passed their number along to a family member.

Description of Work: They determined that the fan in the freezer was not working. Therefore the cold air was not reaching the refrigerator. In addition, the freezer drain was frozen closed so that the only place for the defrost water to go was through the solenoid into the refrigerator compartment causing a puddle in the fridge. They unclogged the freezer drain, replaced the fan, and determined that my air intake/out for the compressor was very dusty so they cleaned all the accumulated dust out of the bottom compartment near the compressor. They arrived within the time window they gave me and left in a little over an hour. They were knowledgeable, professional and explained all the steps as they went along. They cleaned up after themselves too. |

PG & E shut our gas off and RO Appliance was the ONLY repair company that could come out the next day and fix our problem. Had gas turned back on the next day. Very prompt, professional service - our technician, Lorenzo, was a pleasure to work with. Highly, highly recommend this company! Will definitely use them again and again.

Description of Work: Fixed freezer leak in my refrigerator. The technician that came out, Eduardo, was very thorough, professional, courteous and on point. I would highly recommend them and use them again when needed. Great work!

Description of Work: Our big freezer had stopped working and much of the food inside had thawed and had to be tossed. After reading the reviews (even the negative ones) on Angie's List. I called them. It was after 5:00 pm on Monday, July 14 and I spoke to Rose. She said that Ray had to finish his current job and had another one waiting but she would see if he could squeeze us in. Within an hour he was at our door, looked at the freezer and told us what he thought was the problem, a clogged drain in the freezer. The bottom of the unit was a solid block of ice. He couldn't inspect it until it completely thawed. He gave us a choice. He could do it for us with a hot blower for $200 or he could come back the next day giving it time to thaw out in the hot garage. He gave us an estimate of $200 for repairing it if it was what he suspected. We were busy mopping up the flood and trying to salvage some of the still frozen items. He was there for about 15 minutes and we paid him $85.00 for the service charge. When he returned the next day promptly on time, he found the problem to be some food crumbs that had clogged the drain which caused the block of ice and a defective defrost control. Roy had an apprentice with him and was teaching the young man as he worked. They were a great team. They cleaned up the debris behind the freezer when they were done and in less than an hour our freezer was working again. Roy gave us instructions to let the freezer cycle for 24 hours before loading it up again. He was very accurate in his original estimate, gave us credit for the service call fee we had paid the previous day. They were very fast and very pleasant. We would definitely use RO Appliance Repair Co. again.
