Richie Bobcat and Hauling

I called Richie for an estimate to remove my pool. He came out next day, which was a Saturday. He gave me an official quote the same day. His price was excellent and he 's a very nice guy so I hired him. He's very professional and responsible. His guy cleaned up the place well and did a great job to put back a brick wall, which was partially demolished for the tractor access. He gave me many recommendations around the house, but he was not selling anything at all. He was just being nice. Will absolutely recommend him.

I called Richie and asked for a quote -- he came the same day. His quote included getting the permit, scheduling inspections, draining the pool, removing the electrical connection from the load center to the pool equipment, taking down and reinstalling a section of fence, removing all concrete around the pool and the top 30and quot; of the pool wall, cutting and removing the rebar, opening three 12and quot; holes in the bottom of the pool, breaking up the concrete and putting it in the bottom of the pool, covering the entire area with clean fill dirt and cleaning up the job site. He did everything he quoted plus more. His quote was not the lowest but it appeared to be the best value. He started the job within a week of giving me his quote and it took about 5 days to complete, but there were rain and mechanical delays that extended the total time. Richie was very open, easy to talk to, and he did his best to accomodate our schedule. He is a master on the Bobcat and he didn't damage any of the structure / concrete deck that we wanted to keep in place. He does most of the complicated tasks himself, and he has a competent assistant to help with other tasks. He was not always on the site and his assistant spoke limited english, but that was not a significant problem because he was always available via his cell phone to clarify / resolve my concerns.

Dropped off heavy equipment the night before. We got the city permits ourselves. Richie did all of the demo one day, waited for the interim inspection, then did fill the next day. Our electrical panel was kind of a mess, so he called an electrician to do the circuit removal. Left everything immaculate.
