Description of Work: Professional Construction & Design (Brian Alvord) was hired to repair water-damaged terraces and basement. The slate that Professional Construction & Design replaced was not level. Water accumulates where the slate tiles are lower. Those slate tiles are now popping up, which is faulty workmanship. The uneven slate tiles are now a safety concern, as well as a warranty issue. Brian did not adequately supervise the two workman. A window sash that was repaired due to dry rot had to be redone by a handyman we hired this year. I checked the California Contractors License Board, and Professional Construction & Design's license has been suspended. I don't know whether the company had a license when the work was done at our home.

+ -1 moreThey were punctual, respectful, accommodating, creative and professional. I would trust them to do any project within their scope of services. They have gone above and beyond my expectations.
Description of Work: Professional Construction and Design did major reconstruction of water damage on 700 sq ft terrace and basement. They also replaced window sashes that were dry rotted and grouted the shower.
