+ -1 moreIf we had a problem with our pool again, we would use them for remodel again in a heart beat. They know their pool construction. What was lacking, was project management experience. Coordination of pavers, fencing and such was poorly handled and caused several schedule delays. The city also tossed in some snafus too, so that was part of this. I would have thought a pool contractor would be aware of these for each locale, but in this case, they were not. Stuff happens. Overall, we are happy with the work done, but the pool was not ready when promised, and our expectation of the work to be done was less than what we had thought. It seemed as though we were being shuffled to the bottom priority among other jobs they had going on. There would be perhaps 4 hrs of progress in one week at times. The summer passed, and we had no pool. The major issue here was that they need to manage the project better.A detailed schedule before work commenced would have been very helpful.
Description of Work: We have an old pool that we have wanted to do some refurb on for some years now. The old, in pool spa has been cracked and in need to replacement for years, and the plaster needed replacement as well. We had several estimates for the work, and they all came in at or about the $40k price point. Prins was different in that they explained how the spa area could be turned into a social area, and the entire backyard's 'look' could be altered as well with pavers. Sounded great, so we went with them. Remember that the other estimates were for $40k and were to replaster the pool ONLY. The city was the first problem we ran into. They determined that to install a new pump constituted a 'rebuild' of the pool, not a refinish of the pool, so the permitting caused a bump in the price (some thousands as I recall) and a delay in the schedule for inspections, etc. That said, there was still plenty of work that could have been going on in parallel to the pool refurb (plumbing pressure test, electrical, etc. We increased the scope of the job, since the pavers looked great, by adding to slabs for the greenhouse and shed in the back yard.

+ -1 morePins Pool is excellent. They resurfaced the pool and put in new tile. It's a huge pool. They are so professional and their work is so good. I would definitely recommend them. I know $5,000 seems like a lot, but a pool this size would cost about $50,000 so the price was actually incredible and so was the work.
Description of Work: We had our pool resurfaced and new tile put in.

+ -1 morePRINS POOL WAS QUICK TO SUBMIT A QUOTE. UNLIKE OTHER POOL COMPANIES THEY DID NOT TRY TO SELL YOU PRODUCTS YOU DID NOT NEED. THEY DID THE JOB WELL, ALWAYS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS.
Description of Work: DRAINING OF POOL, COMPLETE REPLASTER, INSTALLATION OF NEW TILE, EXTENSION OF SPA WALL AND CREATE WATERFALL EFFECT.
