My Construction Group Inc just finished the remodel on one of our bathrooms and we couldn't be happier! The quality of their work is top notch, as is their customer service. My experience with My Construction Group was absolutely stressed free! The high-quality contractor I have ever worked with. Greg did a wonderful job with my kitchen remodel project. Met with 3 other vendors and spent hours and hours trying to have someone show me what I want instead of breaking my teeth trying to explain my idea. Thank god to Greg who made it all so smooth and easy from the designing to choosing the date to making sure all is done right and being there when I needed him. My Construction Group Inc is a very good company to work with. We recently had a bathroom remodel done in our 100-year home. we went through a selection process of four potential contractors and although mc was not the lowest price, we liked their pretension best. we were very pleased with our decision. Greg, our project manager was excellent - responsive, easy to work with, and he listened to what we wanted. MCG work teams, tiling, and plumbing in particular, were exceptional. also, all the work crews were very neat and cleaned the area thoroughly each day. the end result was a bathroom remodel better than we had hoped for and the price we agreed to.

Greg was wonderful with our bathroom remodel. He helped design an entirely new bathroom and coordinated with Greg who was great to work with. They all work together well at My Construction Group and make sure the end product is what you want.

Our master bathroom remodel has now been completed and we are extremely happy with the entire project performed by My Construction Group. The project was performed flawlessly from the day the contract was signed until the on time completion and final walk through was made. The in house designer we worked with made our choices for all materials and color selections very easy to choose ; we totally love the new look. Greg project manager, made the entire project flow smoothly without any unexpected surprises. We were particularly impressed with the meticulous workmanship. This work can get messy but it never happened under his direction.

I had an excellent experience with My Construction Group that I wanted to share with the google community. I had a kitchen and 3 bathrooms remodeling project, and I had no idea where to start. I interviewed a few companies but Greg, from My Construction Group, was super informative, honest and straight-forward. Throughout the entire project, communication was great and they always kept us informed and updated on the progress. Whenever we were uncertain about a decision, they patiently walked us through the options and made sure we were happy with the results. Also, Greg and his team were extremely conscientious about issues that came up and dealt with every issue calmly and efficiently. To sum it all up, From booking an appointment through having the job completed, My Construction Group was fabulous to work with. They were responsive, courteous, and displayed a high skill level throughout the entire project. The finished result looks very high end and we managed to stay on budget. There were too many problems to write about in detail, so I'll just list some of them. The workmen were nice but changed form day to day. After explaining what was to be done on one day, another plumber, installer, etc, would come in the following day and we'd have to try to explain what was to be done all over again. We don't speak Spanish so we had to call coworkers to have them translate on occasion. Job took 4 times as along as expected. Several times parts of the job was done and then undone and then redone, due to a variety of issues. Pipes were broken and flooded a room on the lower level. Workers fell through the ceiling, punched holes through the walls into adjacent rooms. Construction debris, as well as trash from the workers lunches were left in the driveway. Shower doors left on the lawn for several days left large patches of yellow dead grass. Front door was constantly left open, we found a stray dog in our home. Couldn't get the drain we purchased installed. They didn't clean up after work, nor did they take appropriate precautions to protect carpets, floors and furniture. They used an old broken vacuum they found in our garage to clean up (after we complained) but ended up spewing the dust and wood shavings from the bathroom into the adjoining bedroom. Tile was installed very poorly and had to be redone, by a more experienced workman. No attention to detail; installed shower diverter upside down ( I had to walk them through the correcting that installation via the phone while I was at work) vent registers also installed upside down, towel hook loosely installed (my husband is currently trying to reinstall). There was suppose to be a project manager, (showed up on occasion, usually after complaints) but really I had to watch and direct the project myself, until I had to return to work. I communicated daily with the GC, but our concerns weren't taken seriously. In the end we were credited some money for the condition of the carpets, but can't make up for all we were put through, or for the hours we spent trying to find paint, and replacements for things they damaged during the construction. The project was completed mid November 2018, but we already have cracks in the grout where the floors and the walls meet. The experience was so bad that we don't even want to call them back to fix the current problems, and I will probably never use a general contractor again. I would have been better off selecting my own plumbers, and installers for this job. The $40,000 spent on labor for this job was just tuition for a lesson learned.

It was okay over all. The only complaint is the project manager, he never came to check the remodeling if it was done right.

These guys get the work done!!!!! The guys are pleasant and professional, which is nice when they are working on your home even though I wasn’t there the whole time. I had my backyard remodeled at my investment house. that went quite well and I am satisfied with the work. It was done on time and in the budget. Looking good so far. I would definitely use you guys again. I am very busy and they just take care of a lot of the worries so I don't have to.

Updated on 7/10/19: Abraham (the owner) has reached out to us after our complaints and worked with us. He offered to try and complete remaining work or to refund us for work not completed. We appreciate that he was willing to work with us to find mutually agreed upon solutions. We signed a substantial contract for what was supposed to be a 3-4 week (max) project to remodel our primary family room/playroom and update a bathroom with Abraham Suissa of My Construction Group and have regretted it ever since. We are a working couple with two small children. Abraham “Avi” Suissa promised us this remodel in four weeks time. What we got was a subfloor in worse shape than we started because he and his team were incapable of doing the work (having failed twice over several weeks) and he told us to go find another subcontractor to do it. We are now going into our seventh week and he has stopped communicating with us completely. The job is not complete. He has collected money from us for items for our project that he refused to deliver/install and has not returned our money. Throughout the project, he demanded money for materials to order them, which the California contractor’s licensing board has informed us contractors are not allowed to do (they are not allowed to collect money for materials until they are delivered to the job site). He yelled at me on several occasions, so that both me and my husband had to tell him to stop yelling and act like a professional with a license. He demanded extra money on occasion because he decided he’d spent too much on items included in the contract. Before he stopped communicating with us, he demanded we pay for things he had not yet completed and threatened to not to even order materials the project still needed (that should have been ordered a month ago!) until we paid him for work that was not completed. We’ve had no project manager and barely a foreman. This meant that when construction was happening, there was no pre-planning or logic to how things were done. Some examples: the crew started drilling holes for can lights, and discovered support beams in the way, so they drilled new ones and ended up with many six inch holes that needed to be patched up. They began to lay flooring on an uneven and cracked cement slab, so they were surprised when the floor boards had bumps and dips. They took out the floor, poured the wrong cement on top of a dirty and non-prepped surface, and then had a newly uneven floor that was even WORSE than the original. They started to install the floor again on top of the uneven and cracked surface. I asked one of the workers at the time why they did that. He responded to me: “I would not have installed it like this in my own home.” At this point, we were angry that we were nearly two weeks delayed with the floor, and we were worse off than when we started. Avi got angry with us and told us to find someone else to do the floor, so we did. We brought in actual professionals who were shocked that our contractor would not have basic knowledge to use leveling cement, and that any install on this surface would certainly fail within 1-6 months. Avi had actually made our basement WORSE than if they had not touched it at all. We ended up paying two outside contractors to undo and repair the damage they caused to our subfloor, which caused substantial delays to the project in order to repair My Construction’s failures and then properly install the floor. We have many more examples of Avi and My Construction Group’s failures and shoddy unprofessional work. I’ve had to take off work to manage the project and to deal with the multitude of issues that came up daily. Our family and lives have been worse the last two months for having to deal with them, and we are now left with an uncompleted project after paying for the majority of the contract. When bidding for the project against other contractors, Avi marketed himself as caring about family but he has shown no regard for our family and now left us with substantial work incomplete and no communication. We just want the nightmare to be over and wish we had never heard of My Construction Group.

Abraham was very professional he was patient, I really felt comfortable working with him,I guide me all the steps his price was comparative, he his the owner not sales man as all other co that came and just they to sale you, I really recommend my construction group, ask for abraham

I found My Construction Group via a proposal request on porch.com for two bathroom remodels. They called me about my project, Abraham came to my place to discuss the scope of project, gave me a quote and laid out the likely timeline for my two bathrooms but also discussed the possibilities for a larger scope I had been thinking about. Needless to say I have a new contractor for life! Abraham and my assigned project manager, Chris, were tremendous! They opened up communication, sending me text messages, picture updates, and were always incredibly proactive both with permitting and the work on the project. They never once missed a meeting time, didn’t cancel days they said they would be at the property, and never did anything but inspire confidence in their work. I changed scope on them multiple times, never at their request, and they were able to quickly provided cost estimates that were always fair or under other firms, and rolled with my desire to expand the project. Communication never broke down and they always acted as a partner in the project, offering ideas and suggestions I may not have thought of and also how to reduce cost and speed the project along. They followed through with high quality workmanship and didn’t disappear the second the job was done, always following up to make sure I was happy with the work and answer any questions I had. I would recommend My Construction Group (and already have to friends) to anyone looking for a general contractor for anything from a small remodel to a full house renovation.
