They would miss their appointments. When I would call they said there service isn't working that relays appointments. They were pleasant enough but the work sometimes wasn't very good and I have to get his jobs fixed.
Description of Work: They have done odds and end jobs for me in the past.

The overall experience was less than expected. First off took two days (they are not necessarily the cheapest, especially given their $269 min per day. First the technician complained about the plumbing work, and how it was not satisfactory. The matching tiles were yellow. I had picked up generic white, grout, but when they mentioned they could get the matching figured why not. The issue really is that they ended up charging me for over $300 in materials for items that I could get at Home Depot for under $100. The finished worked was messy and dirty. Had to call and have them come back to clean the grout and mess. The tile actually set concaved. Looks less than professional. For a cost of $800 plus trust me this is nothing to be proud of. Attempting to get the field manager Jim, to come out as look for himself. I will no longer even think of using them, and highly urge anyone considering to reconsider. I am embarrassed and ashamed for using them, and wish others not to endure the same.
Description of Work: Needed tile replaced after shower repair from local plumber, who will open up the wall repair, but will not do tile work. The area opened was the center to replace the main piece of the shower valves. The open area was 3 (4x4) across and 7 (4x4) down. Looking for a professional that could do the work in a timely fashion within a couple of days not weeks.

I called to get an estimate for installing a window and was told that there would be a minimum charge for 2 hours labor just to estimate, or $259. I expect to pay $3-5k for this work, and don't appreciate having to pay just for an estimate. Maybe this company is better suited to jobs that can be done the same day, rather than estimated and then done at a later date?
Description of Work: No work performed. He did not offer a free estimate.

The job would have needed drywall but they wanted to just use some flimsy boards which we didnt find acceptable. He brought his supervisor out to look at it. I asked to talk to his supervisor. The supervisor told him to quit the job. They didnt finish the demolition or clean up. The owner called and said he was going to come by to bring me a bill. When he came he said I needed to sign a contract before they would start work. He signed my name on the contract, backdated it and said the bill would be $637. I wrote the check before I realized they hadnt finished the demo. I then did a stop payment on the check. I got a letter from them saying they ran my credit card. I did not give them authorization to do that. Do not call them.
Description of Work: They wouldnt give me an estimate. They said when they come out they just start doing the work. When the guy came out and looked at the job he said he wasnt sure if they could do it. He would give an estimate for what he could do which was to tear off paneling and replace it with a board suited for painting. When he came the first time he gave me three different figures to choose from. The second day he came out and started demolition. Then he said he didnt know if he could do it because it might be too big of a job.

MR. HANDYMAN DOES NOT USUALLY DO ON-SITE ESTIMATES. WE TRY TO ESTIMATE THE AMOUNT OF TIME NEEDED TO DO THE JOB AS DESCRIBED BY THE CUSTOMER AND SCHEDULE ACCORDINGLY. THE WORK ORDER FOR THIS JOB ONLY LISTED REMOVING THE PANELING AND OLD LINOLEUM AND LAYING NEW KITCHEN TILE. ONE TECHNICIAN WAS SCHEDULED FOR TWO FULL DAYS. UPON ON-TIME ARRIVAL THE FIRST DAY, THE MEMBER ADDED THE APPLICATION OF WALL COVERING AFTER THE PANEL REMOVAL TO THE WORK ORDER. THE MEMBER WAS PROVIDED THREE ALTERNATIVES WITH COST ESTIMATES. ONE OPTION WAS SELECTED AND, WHILE A COPY OF THE APPROVED HOME IMPROVEMENT CONTRACT WAS NOT ISSUED TO THE MEMBER, IT WAS DATED AND SIGNED BY HER. ON DAY TWO, THE PANEL REMOVAL WAS DONE BUT EXPOSED OTHER ISSUES: ADDITIONAL FRAMING AND PANEL ADHESIVE REMOVAL. IT WAS OBVIOUS AFTER APPLYING THE MEMBER-SELECTED WALL COVERING THAT IT WAS NOT AN OPTIMAL SOLUTION. DRYWALL COULD HAVE BEEN AN OPTION BUT NOT WITHOUT EXTENSIVE PREPARATION OF THE AREAS WHICH COULD NOT HAVE BEEN ACCOMMODATED IN THE MEMBER’S ALLOTTED TWO DAYS REMAINING. IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT A SPECIALIST BE CALLED IN AS THE JOB BECAME TOO LARGE FOR US TO COMPLETE IN THOSE TWO DAYS. SINCE THE PANELING REMOVAL WAS COMPLETED AND WAS PART OF GAYLE'S REMODELING PROJECT, SHE WAS ONLY CHARGED FOR THAT PART OF THE WORK PERFORMED. THIS WOULD HAVE REDUCED HER COST WITH ANOTHER CONTRACTOR. MR. HANDYMAN WAS PUNCTUAL, RESPONSIVE AND PROFESSIONAL IN ALL DEALINGS WITH THE MEMBER.
