The contractor's measurements were off since the template they made was not correct for this simple small top so the installers had to grind and grind to compensate for the incorrect manufactureing process... while the finished product looks good in the end since most people dont see the wavy cut on the back edge of the vanity top since they goobered it up with a thick line of sealeant to hide it. On the second 61" vanity double sink custom cabinet counter top.... they really went off the rails... when the went to install this one they were off a full two inches in width over all and there was no amount of fakery that could compensate for this error.... now everyone has a bad day and everyone makes mistakes... I could have lived with that... except from the very beginning we had issues... I wanted Silestone in a certain color and texture they told me I would have to buy a full slab for $1200 when they were actually only using less that half of the total slab... and that there were no partial slabs I could get. I was told from the beginning that the excess 1/2 slab was mine to do with as i pleased and that they would be happy to fabricate a third counter top for just the labor cost if I wanted one later so I said ok and paid the Slab cost up front as asked.... the process was to fabricate the counters we needed and to deliver the counters and install them and at the same time to deliver the excess material to the job site for future use perhaps in a bar area or bbq counter application. However when they found they had made such a big and unfixable mistake on the larger counter top they said they would take back the excess and refabricate the larger counter and come back in a week and that credit would be applied for 1/2 the value of the slab cost. So OK no harm no foul... with the credit for a half slab.... however that never happened, they used the half slab to fix the problem, refused to issue the credit for taking my prepaid extra material and converting it to saving their own profits... they refused to replace it and when i refused to pay the entire bill (deducting the value of the material that they stole from me) from the bill and refused the partial payment that would have covered the balance due for labor only... they waited over 90 days and then put an illegal lien on my house... (did not follow the published legal process of notice and filing, they never bothered to even try to perfect the lien since that would not have even been legally possible since the lien process was defective fromt the start but they still over 3 years later refuse to remove the unlawful lien.... so now we have to sue them for damages since we are now unable to refi the house, they are also claiming double the value of the original claim as the disputed amount.... these people are crooks of the highest order. I have tried to reason with these folks and have continued to offer them the undisputed labor value but they reject everything out of hand and refuse to talk... they now claim that I never had any right to the 100% excess of material that I was forced to buy for this job and they claim that I was never told that the excess was mine to use for an additional project.... if that was the case why did they bring it to my house and take it from the truck to the side storage yard on my job site.... and then come back later to recover it to fix thier screw up.... It is such a shame they the management here is so shoddy, the finished work once corrected is something to be proud of and if we take all the B/S we have endured out of the equation here, there is no reason not to be happy with the job itself... but how do you justify anything positive when you have been ripped off, cheated and them pulled into an unlawful legal process that you have to spend thousands of dollars to have thrown out, just because they know they can do this to hurt you as punishment for not bending over to their willful demands. I would never reccomend them to anyone because of this no matter how good the work is. read the YELP reviews.... I wish I had before I let the contractor bring them in.

The first templater did not understand the scope of work. He brought the boss the next day. General contractor, cabinet people helped explain joinery particularly for the island counter which included top connected to stepped down counter overhang. Four pieces of granite came, three were brought back to shop as they were cut too small. Blamed it on cabinets. Had to purchase another slab of granite. The new slab was used as the island base piece and is not as satisfactory as the prior two slabs picked out by owner. This bugs me every day.
Description of Work: Fabricated four pieces of countertop granite for kitchen, bath, bedroom remodel.

Although this company was only 2 years old, when we used them, the people who own and run it have been doing this for years. They are honest, nice, and did a great job. Their price was the best I've found. I was able to use their discounts to buy the granite. Other places wouldn't let me do that. At the end, I'd forgotten that I had already put down a 10% deposit and sent them the additional 10%. They sent me a check for a refund.
Description of Work: Fabricated and installed granite counter tops for master bath and kitchen.
