Maid Brigade of Santa Clara

The owner is rude and I have no respect for the woman. I am unhappy about how she has spoken to me on the phone. I have left her a couple messages and she has not responded after calling the day I had a cleaning service scheduling asking to come after business hours. That is unacceptable. I will not recommend her or use her services, again.

The house cleaning itself, once we scheduled it, was great. Once I paid for the offer through Angie's List, Maid Brigade did not contact me by mail or phone for a week. Then, though your offer implied I could either have 4 hours or 2 hours of cleaning, they explained their fine print to me (2 hours for 2 people). That WAS on the offer, but not clear. They also on the phone warned me that it might take more thatn 2 hours for which I would have to pay extra. And...though the workers were supposed to show up at 8, they showed up at 8:30. They did put in their 2 hours, though. So...due to the lack of customer service on the part of the office, we will not be using Maid Brigade again.

Very professional service! They make it very easy to give feedback and actually follow up each time if something is not to your liking. I have yet to find the "perfect" housecleaner, but this services comes close. They really try hard to meet your needs and work with you. If you do not like the way the service is performed or the team member who cleans your house, they will fix it. They are not the cheapest service out there but I have tried a couple of different services and these ladies are the best service I found. I used to only use individual housecleaners that were cheaper and stayed a long time to finish all the work, but the one thing that this service has that beats the individual housecleaner is that you can provide feedback and they will change what they need to fit your requirements. Pros: - Come on time within a window timeframe you select - Work is usually thorough (a couple of times things were missed but they followed up to resolve) - They take feedback seriously - Fast and Efficient! They do not chat with each other while cleaning, they are so focused and work hard to be efficient. - There is no chemical smell left behind Cons: - more pricey than other services - a couple of times they were not thorough and missed cleaning parts of the countertop or the cloths they used left behind link/dirt (but this has been fixed through feedback!).

Two workers arrived punctually and began immediately. The young lady who cleaned the kitchen and the bath did a good job quietly and efficiently. She did, however, miss cleaning some areas although they were specifically mentioned at the beginning. The second worker neglected to dust the picture frames, smoke alarms, door moldings, tops of floor boards. When asked whether the chandelier had been cleaned, she claimed to be unable to get it cleaner; dust was still visible and was pointed out. After 3 hours they prepared to leave. i said I had paid for 8 hours of cleaning time and expected another hour. They disagreed and left. I have tried not to expect as much since I have become unable to do my own cleaning, but, considering the cost, I thought I might be more pleased. I chose this company because they use green, environmentally friendly cleaning aids. I have asthma aggravated by harsh chemicals. That aspect was good.

The Bathroom's were really bad and the did a great job cleaning them. Kitchen was spotless.

Maid Brigade were prompt, they did a fabulous job. I had 2 for 2 hours instead of 1 for 4 hours. They came in and did the job quickly which I appreciated. They were excellent.

I have used their services four times. They are flexible and come out when I need them to. I like their work but don't like that I get a different team every time. They are also very good with my dogs. They are not always very punctual but I will continue to use them in the future.

They are a chain. It is not always the same people that come; it is whoever they assign. It has been positive working with them. They always do a good job. We don't have a set time; they just come on the day they are supposed to. We've never had to contact them. They are very professional. We will continue to use them.

I've been using them for four or five years. They use eco-friendly products. They don't use any toxic products, so it's great for pets and kids. They are fast and their prices are reasonable. A team of ladies come in. They are in and out in an hour and a half. They leave the house pretty much spotless. Every time I call them to reschedule or add some extra cleaning at the last minute they always try to do that. At one point when I actually wasn't working for a few months we worked something out where they cleaned less rooms at a cheaper price. They have always been very flexible and have tried to keep our relationship strong. They come out every other Friday and charge me per visit.

The employees who do the work for me are extremely punctual. They came out and do the service as per our agreement. They come out every two weeks for up keep work. No heavy duty cleaning, but mainly light cleaning. I have been pleased with their service.

The problem we had with them is when they first came to get the contract, there were two Spanish speaking women and one English speaking one who spoke Spanish too and would translate to the other two. It turns out that we have furniture with a finish that cannot be treated with any kind of spray-on and a couple of the pieces I told them to stay away from. We used them for about a year and a half, but when the Spanish-speaking women came alone, I could not communicate with them, and I came home one day and found they had essentially destroyed a very expensive table. I called them up, but they did not fully understand how emotionally affected we were, and offered us a free cleaning, which is worth about 120 dollars, when the table itself costs about ten times more than that. It wasn t that their work was bad, but I couldn t rely on them to stay away from pieces that I didn t want touched.
