Very flexible on scheduling, came the next day. Call when on the way and arrived when promised. Found and fixed the problem for less then Sears wanted just to come out and look at the problem. Would definitely use again

This guy is absolutely awesome. He's very honest, and will suggest "free" or cheaper resolution, if possible. Technically, he's very strong. Over the last few years, I've had him fix my refrigerator, oven and dishwasher. He's very honest, very professional, very nice person too. In this case, my tenants (rental property), called me up saying the dishwasher (which is 16 months old) wasn't working and was making a "burning metal smell". I could have screwed around with it, wasted time and money but, instead I called LP. He was on site w/in an hour or so and fixed it in minutes. Charged me $75 for the service call but I gave him $100. Well worth the time, money and hassle that he saved me. As well as the "piece of mind" in knowing I can trust LP. Any appliance issues, call LP.

Luan was awesome! I called and he said he could come out in an hour. He arrived in 25 minutes, determined the issue and had the needed part in his truck. His rate to come out and diagnose the problem is $30 and other repair people that I called started around $60. I'll definitely call Luan when I need other appliance repairs!

My washer was making a terrible noise and the agitator wasn't moving and smoke was coming out. I called a few places on Angie's list (it was a Saturday) and those who picked up were annoyed that I had called on a weekend. When I called LP I had to leave a message but he called me back right away. He scheduled a service call for the next day (Sunday morning) even though I am in Fremont and they are in San Jose. He didn't charge me extra for the Sunday visit, which I appreciated. He arrived on time and was very professional and nice. He took apart my washer in a few minutes and diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately in my case my washer's transmission had given out and because it was 10 years old there were no parts for it anymore so he recommended I buy a new one. I loved that he didn't try try to BS me or take more money from me. He was just honest and quick and got the job done and polite. Thank you so much!

My friend's refrigerator was about 25 years old and it wasn't getting cold enough. I found LP Appliances Services on Angie's List and picked it because of its many good reviews. It's a one man company with Lu Pham doing all the work himself. I called him at 8am on a Saturday morning and he was there by 9:30, even though we were slightly outside his regular service area. He got to work immediately, knew just what he was doing, diagnosed the problem and recharged the refrigerator with freon quickly and efficiently, and charged a very reasonable price. It's worked fine ever since. I would definitely use him again.

i just have to say it again...i am VERY impressed with this company. they are quick to respond, quick to schedule a time to check the appliance, quick to order parts, EXCELLENT in communicating what is happening and when, and remarkable in following up. hire this company, you will be so happy!

i'm SO impressed! 45 minutes after i called, he was at the condo looking at the refrigerator. he cleaned the condensor, and the fridge worked again. quick, professional, excellent service!

The appliance repair company was LP Appliances Services. I called them on a Tuesday or Wednesday and he said that I can probably be there by Friday. I hang up the phone and he calls me back and says that I can be there in 20 minutes and I said fine. He came out and he fixed it and it stopped leaking. It was very good and I really enjoyed talking with him. He did a nice job and then he left. About 3 weeks later the refrigerator started leaking again. I called them back and I was kind of busy because we had a sale and he wanted to come out but I can't do it right now. I called him back and he came right out and he pulled the refrigerator out, he went to the back and he pulled something out. He said, you see this is the problem and he replaced it and so far, so good. He is really responsive and when I asked him how much for the second time and he says nothing. They are the best. I will absolutely use them again in the future, I am going to as I have a dryer that is making a noise. He told me that it was a little intensive to do that so I could rather wait and get it done later. I am going to call him up maybe in a month and get the job done. He is really good and I enjoyed talking to him. We had a nice rapport and he was a good guy. His name is Luan but he likes to be called Lu.

I called Lu Pham at 10:30am, and he arrived at 1:30pm. It turned out that the problem wasn't the dryer at all. The problem was with the 220 plug and element in our electrical box. Lu fixed both problems, and our dryer is working properly again. I'll definitely use Lu for our next large appliance problem. :)

Mr. Phan was prompt both in responding to my call and arriving when we had arranged. He is very friendly and efficient. He diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within a half hour. A switch needed to be replaced. I can't imagine better service.

Luan was great, on time and very efficient he checked it our and then gave me an estimate (over and above the site visit charge.) the price was fare so I asked him to proceed. he had it working in no time. I highly recommend him.

Mr. Pham service was punctual, professional and precise. After reading all the great reviews on Angie's List, I gave LP Appliance Repair a call. He answers right away when I called at 8am. He agreed to be at my house in about 1/2 hour. Once he listened to the strange noise, he drained the standing water in the tub using a cup to scoop it out. He quickly tuned the machine on its side and deterred the motor pump was broken. He told me we didn't have to replace the entire motor just fix the pump. Within 30 minutes the machine was running good as new. Total time from call to completed repair less than 2 hours. I will definitely call LP Appliance Repair for any future needs!!

Mr. Pham immediately returned my call within 10 minutes of requesting service. He repaired our dryer that was not working, cleaned it and left it in excellent shape. He serviced our washer and replaced the door rubber that was worn out. He left our washer in excellent shape also. He is polite and I would have no hesitation in calling him again.

Luan picked up on my first call. He said he would come same day between 3 - 5 pm. He arrived at 3:30. After checking the freezer side of our refrigerator, he told me it was one of two things and how much it would cost to repair each one. I told him to go ahead. He found the one that was the problem (the board), showed me where it was "broken" and replaced it. He said it would take an hour and 15 minutes and he was done in just under that. At first, he told me $265 if it was the board as a cost. I thought he was talking about the part only but he was talking about the whole thing! I was pleasantly surprised. He was prompt, efficient, clean and communicated with me clearly about it all.

Luan was very professional and nice about fixing the problem. He cleaned up the top of the fridge area and saw the issue with the seals was caused by the condenser heating up and then the seals sticking. Also the leaking causes a problem with the internal pressure. He guaranteed the leaking was fixed. The door sticking may come back but then it needs a new seal. Overall he was friendly and competent and couldn't beat his promptness. When your fridge is leaking you want to get it fixed right away.

We called LP Appliance Services based on Angies List. Luan came out right away, had the new part with him, knew what to do, and did it. Thank you.

Our refrigerator freezer was accumulating water at the bottom of the freezer and when it went into defrost mode it would leak onto the kitchen floor. I called Luan owner of LP appliance Services at 12 pm and at 1 pm he showed up, and by 1:45pm it was fixed. GREAT JOB!!! I would definitely use them again.

Luan came out immediately even though I didn't call till 5:30. Found leak (would have been $300 to fix), but I opted for the cheaper recharge as had wanted a larger replacement unit. The recharge could last 2 days, 2 months, a year, no guarantee. I appreciated Luan's professionalism and honest appraisal. And will take his recommendation for a replacement unit to heart! With family and grandson over, we could not afford to lose all food! And now I'll have time to look! Luan has also worked several jobs for my neighbor, and that is a highest recommendation! As my neighbor knows appliances, cars, etc and knows what's needed and expects and gets the best in service.

Luan was fantastic! We had a 15-year-old subzero refrigerator with a faulty water filter which was causing the water to run nonstop. Luan responded immediately to our Sunday morning call and even had a similar replacement part on his truck that worked. Very professional and conscientious. Recommend him strongly.

The problem was fixed by replacing a bad, noisy bearing. Then maintenance was done on the dryer motor.

Mr Phan was great. Our dryer was not heating. Cool air only. First he checked out the dryer and figured out what the problem was. During his check he also brought to other issues to our attention. First that we needed to have our circuit breaker changed to a higher rating to accommodate this dryer. And second that our dryer vent needed to be cleaned out (possible fire hazard). He was very helpful.
