LP Appliances called me within 30 minutes of submitting the request for service/quote through the Angie's List platform, he disclosed the cost for a diagnostic visit, told me he had an opening at noon, and then at about 10:30 called me to tell me he could be there even sooner. Arrived promptly as promised and got to work. He had already a strong suspicion of what the problem was with my fridge and was carrying the correct replacement circuit board. Everything was fixed up in about an hour - including a small extra task when he found that the fridge door was out of adjustment. Super helpful and very reasonably priced!

FANTASTIC, AS USUAL! This is the 4th time I've used LP. He is cheap, troubleshoots and identifies the problem quite quickly, and usually has the needed parts on his truck. Moreover, I almost never have had to wait more than a day for him to come. It doesn't get any better than this. The cost of service (below) includes the part.

I had been having bad luck trying to get competent repair people to fix my 20 year old stackable Maytag washer/dryer. The dryer's fine. The washer wasn't filling. Three Sears repair people had tried and couldn't fix it. I was just about to give up and buy a new one, when yesterday, I decided to try Angie's List and I called Luan Pham. It was 2:00 in the afternoon. He said he could be available at 4:00. Same day! He showed up on time. Diagnosed the problem. He had the parts in his truck. Within an hour it was working. Everything went extremely smooth. Refrigerator is repaired and back in service. I would hire Lu again.

I call in the morning explaining my older model coin operated machine was not spinning. Service man said he could be in that afternoon. He arrived in Gilroy at the time agreed and got to work diagnosing and then repairing the machine, he even brought the part he thought might be the culprit. It took him 2 1/2 hours and never charged me more then his original quote. Will be calling LP Appliance Repair again if and when needed.

Mr. Pham responded quickly to my voice message (within minutes, actually) and made a fast and convenient appointment. He arrived on time and quickly assessed my issue. He provided a fair quote and accurate time estimate. He had the required replacement parts with him. He worked efficiently with professional acumen. He was friendly, courteous, polite and respectful of my home. I will use him again for all my home appliance repairs. And, will likely seek his guidance when making future appliance purchases. He's a fantastic person, and I can't say enough positive things about him.

Mr. Pham can fix anything! This is the third time we've called on him and as usual, he came the next day, arrived promptly and fixed the problem right away.

WOW! I called, and he came out to the house right away. He gave me a very reasonable estimate, which I approved, then got right to work. He had the broken part with him and quickly repaired the dryer. It required fully taking apart our dryer that is placed within a cabinet, and yet he did it with ease. His price is very reasonable. He is professional and knows his appliances! I highly recommend him!!

Mr. Pham was very responsive, agreeing to be at my place within an hour. The repair was quoted and performed right on the spot. It was a relief, as I thought my dryer was going to need to be replaced. Thank you again Mr. Pham!

I called Lu in the morning and he was able to come out within a couple of hours. Lu was prompt, friendly, and professional. He quickly diagnosed the problem (faulty water pump), ordered the replacement, and installed it the next day. Our dishwasher has been having issues as well, so before he left, I solicited his thoughts on that. Lu was honest and forthright in his consultation regarding the dishwasher, which he provided at no extra charge.

Luan Pham, the owner answered promptly and gave me a same day appointment which was fantastic since we've been without the refrigerator/freezer for 3 days. He asked me questions and then checked the frig and then gave me his diagnosis. I really liked that he told me what the motor sounded like when it started dying. It was exactly what it sounded like. He told me there were two things that could be the problem and he had the two parts in his truck. He gave me the costs for both parts and both were very reasonable. He told me he believed it was the inside motor. He replaced the part and the frig started working. Then he told me what the outside board will sound like if it starts to go. So now I know when I hear the sound, give Luan a call.

Luan has the best customer service I have ever experienced. He is responsive and will usually come out the same day you call. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. We called and were able to get an appointment that same morning. He arrived early(!!!) and was able to diagnose and fix the problem very quickly. He seemed very knowledgeable about just about every appliance in the kitchen.

Fantastic repair service. Arrived within a couple hours of a weekday afternoon call and quickly gave us reasonable fixed prices for each of the possible problems. Immediately diagnosed the problems correctly, had all the parts on hand but one, and didn't charge extra time to quickly go get it. Replaced evaporator fan in the fridge; bearings, belt and gas valve coils in the dryer. No crazy mark-up on parts. Came back that evening without any hassle or extra charge to deal with a new dryer noise under load and stayed to make sure the dryer was perfectly running. He's personable, knowledgeable, and professional. I would call him first for any appliance repair.

Luam, the owner, was incredibly responsive. He came three hours after I called, immediately diagnosed the problem and repaired it quickly for a reasonable price. Outstanding service.

Great! LP came within 30 minutes of my call, and quickly identified that my unit needed a coolant refresh. This was accomplished in about an hour and my freezer is back to -20C this morning and working perfectly.

Excellent! Called back, gave me a time window as to when to expect he could come. Then called ahead to reconfirm ETA. Was polite, efficient, and effective. Replaced faulty part.

We use them and we like them. I have referred them to two friends on our street to use them. They were available 7 days a week. They fixed the problem the first time. I would use them again.

Found that line from valve assembly was cracked. Service person replaced broken section and verified that unit was working properly.

Our Whirlpool washing machine is about 20 years old. The Washing Machine stopped agitating and spinning. Luan Pham showed up on time. He seem very trustworthy. He seem quite capable. He got the job done very efficiently (in about an hour) at a very low cost. I can now put off spending $1400 buying new washer and dryer for a bit longer.

Mr. Pham arrived earlier than scheduled, and that is a big plus. He was very professional, friendly and efficient. He completed the job in a timely manner. I give him a 10+ rating and would highly recommend him.
