Our Kenmore refrigerator stopped cooling and we called on a Saturday morning. He arrived on Saturday afternoon and diagnosed the problem as a faulty relay switch. After determining that the relay switch was only sold with a new compressor, he was able to find a replacement switch by looking at the compressor brand and model. Now the refrigerator is working perfectly, and we saved at least $500 thanks to his detective skills.

Mr. Pham has these reviews for a reason. He is honest, responsible and very reliable. Not only did he repair the leaky freezer compartment, but also advised us on our malfunctioning stovetop and dryer without charging an additional dime. Great service!

He came on time, went right to work, and had the dryer all torn apart, fixed, and put back together within 45 minutes. Very quick and efficient.

I called LP on a Sunday afternoon because the ice maker in my refrigerator was leaking. He came out right away and had the leak fixed within an hour. He is an amazing guy! I highly recommend LP Appliance Service!

He rang the doorbell at exactly the scheduled time which was within two hours of my call. He quickly discovered that the problem was not my dryer but wiring behind my circuit breaker. It was fixed in 45 minutes and he only charged $125 including the house call fee. I will recommend him highly. I like dealing with independent business owners such as Luan.

Lou called us immediately and was very friendly and professional. Explained the error code I was seeing and he immediately knew which part it was that needed to to replaced. He asked me to call him back with the model number of washing machine. I was delayed by an hour and he called again to make sure that I didn't forget (that was very impressive). He came by on weekend to fix it and were are very grateful. He really is excellent and his ratings on Angies list are well deserved.

The repairs went pretty quickly and while performing the diagnostics, he explained everything that he was doing so that I understood what he was looking for. Then when he found the cause of the problem, he explained what it was and made the necessary repairs. Then he asked to inspect the dryer's vent tube to make sure it was clear. Upon inspection, he actually found the true cause of why the dryer broke down, the vent tube was blocked with huge amount of lint. After replacing the tube, he explained that if he did not check that, he would have been back to do another repair. His honesty was very much appreciated and because of it, I will call him in the future if the need arises for it. And, I will recommend him to all my family and friends. Thanks Luan!

Called LP Appliances this morning because my refrigerator is not keeping cold properly. Lu was able to come check it out today. He found the problem and fixed it. He was prompt, courteous, and professional. I would call him again if I have another problem with an appliance and needed quick service. I had originally contacted the GE service center for the repair as my refrigerator is relatively new, but it was going to take them 10 days to send someone out. Glad I found someone local on Angie's list.

Called on a Saturday morning, showed up promptly and on time. Diagnosed the problem. Because the solution involved replacing a major motor on a dishwasher brand he did not normally service, he recommended getting a specialist to do the repair, or consider replacing the dishwasher. Very honest and helpful. Did not charge me anything, but I tipped him for his time nonetheless. Would absolutely call him again.

It went well. Luan was very knowledgeable and friendly. He also followed up with us to make sure everything was OK!

The dishwasher would not drain. I called LP yesterday, and he promptly came out today--right on time. He had the problem diagnosed in about 5 minutes, and had the repair finished in about 45 minutes. He also cleaned out the drain line from the dishwasher to the sink. He was very neat, using a towel in front of the dishwasher so as to not leave any water. A very pleasant person, and the price was right.

I attempted to contact them through the Angie's list messaging system but I never heard back. When I called the phone was answered by a simple "hello" instead of a business name. They seemed uninterested in the work, eventually saying that they did not do tis type of work.

He did a great job and was very responsive. we had to wait for a part to come in for a day but then worked perfectly. He showed up on time. The only negative was he left a little bit of a mess/water on the floor. not much but it was still there. Regardless, I would use this company again.

LP responded to my call quickly and arrived in my house right on time. He quickly identified the problem and replace the component. It is done! fast, clean and reasonable price.

I like his work, I like his advice, he's always prompt and he's always particular with his solutions. We spent about $125 which included parts.

Lu was awesome. I called the factory service and the best date they could give me was a week later, with wet laundry in the washer. So I got on Angie's List and looked for the highest rated appliance repair person I could find. After reading the reviews for LP appliances I gave them a call. Lu answered directly and was able to schedule service for the next day first thing in the morning. He was professional and courteous. Worked quickly and showed me the problem before replacing it. Two weeks later everything is still working perfectly. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Okay so I've had a portable fan parked behind my fridge bc the divider between my freezer and the refrigerator was getting hot. After a little research on the net I kind of found out what was causing it and the fan, as ridiculous as it was helped out. So after several months I decided to get off my butt and look up appliance repair on Angies List. I looked at several and the reviews were generally good, so I decided to look at the average $ value of the repairs and I liked what I saw. Luan did not have average costs in the $300 to $400 range and I appreciated that. I called him at 6:20 pm on a hot Tuesday eve in the hopes of scheduling an appointment during his regular business hours later in the week. Business hours ended in 10 minutes or 6:30pm. After speaking with him for a few minutes he said he could come over but it would take apprx 1 hr from San Jose to my home in Fremont. What, you can can over this evening? He was at my door in one hour, an hour after that the job was finished for a miniscule $145. Wow talk about a great experience. Now don't expect perfect native spoken English, he's an old school kind of guy from Vietnam from a time when things were simpler and you didn't have to spend $2000+ to buy a refrigerator. We chit chatted about the quality / longevity of modern appliances and a few other things, won't bore you with that. Bottom line, if you need someone who knows his stuff with kitchen appliances and won't gauge (did I spell that right?) how about, won't rip you off call Luan. Nuff Said. George

The repairman was prompt, had an opening the same day I called. Came on time (even 15 minutes earlier), and started working right away. Quickly identified the problem (water inlet valve), made a phone call for a part. Went out and in a matter of 30 minutes came back with a replacement part. Spent anticipated time replacing it, done the testing, additional tightening, and the job has been done. A diligent and courteous man who knew what he was doing. Seemed genuinely interested in his area of work. Would recommend him and use his service again!

I called him at 7am even though I did notice he doesn't start until 8. But he called me right back and came 2 hours later (9am). That was great because everything was getting warmer in my frig/freezer. He quickly assessed the problem, had the part, and replaced it. He did a good job cleaning up behind the frig too.

We had good experience with them. We called them on a Sunday and he came out within a couple of hours.

I called first thing at 8am for service thinking the earliest someone would be abke to look at the fridge was in the afternoon or the next day, however Lam was out to my house within the hour and repaired my refrige in less than 30 minutes. The problem was the board that controls the temp in the fridge failed. Lam had the part in his truck and was able to repair it. He was pleasant, professional and even wanted to keep the broken part so he can learn what caused the board failed. He seemed like a person who is always learning about the new electronics in appliance.

Great - He was very professional, polite and responsive. Came out the same day to repair my dryer. Very efficient and the pricing was very fair. I will definitely recommend him to my neighbors!

Mr. Phan came out on Easter Sunday, diagnosed the reason our 'fridge died the previous night, & replaced the mother board. He cleaned up thoroughly, was extremely pleasant & professional, & didn't charge an arm & a leg. We definitely will call on him again if the need arises.

Mr Pham answered his phone was polite and I got an appointment the next day. I wish every repair professional was like him. He came 5 min early and was friendly and efficient and showed me what was wrong. He has been the best professional so far on Angies list that I have dealt with. A true professional. And what I also really like a about Mr Pham is that he seems to really like his job ; ) !
