Called him and he answered. He made appt to come that afternoon and arrived at the agreed on time. He knew exactly what was wrong and carries the part. He was professional and fixed it. He is great!

Called him after 10 pm. Got an answer (amazing). Came out next morning at 8:15. Diagnosed problem within 10 minutes. Went off to buy the part at the supplier and returned in 15 minutes with it. Replaced part and completed everything inside of one hour of first encounter.

I woke in the middle of the night to hear a terrible buzzing sound from my GE refrigerator. I called GE repair the next AM and was told I could have a repair appointment in 7 days . I went on Angie's list and found LP Appliance. Mr. Pham was at my door within a half an hour and the job was finished within and hour. Mr. Pham is courteous, professional, skilled and well priced (the above cost includes parts and labor). AND he is local. I like to support local business when ever possible. He is now my "go-to-guy" for appliance repair.

Sunday evening we opened the dryer to a really strong burnt smell. There was no visible smoke or other sign of fire - but we decided not to chance it and called Luan Monday morning. He came over quickly, diagnosed the problem, and within a few hours we had a brand new dryer vent hose. He showed me bits of the old line that he had taken off - even though we are religious about cleaning the lint filter, we haven't been so good about cleaning the vent hose. The hose was completely clogged with lint, and bits of the lint were burnt and blackened. This could have been so much worse. We got lucky - and will definitely hire Luan again.

He was great - super punctual, professional and obviously knows a lot about mechanics. He is going to be our go-to professional for future mechanical issues.

After 18 years of faithful service, the motor finally gave out on my Kenmore dryer. Mr. Pham diagnosed the problem over the phone after hearing my description. He actually had the right replacement part in his truck and came over the same afternoon to repair it. He only charged $50 for the service call -- most of the cost of the repair was the new motor itself and the attached fan. The fan needed replacing because the motor had seized up and wouldn't turn, so there was no way to get it out of the housing without damaging the old fan. Fortunately that part was a minor extra charge. Mr. Pham also had replaced the motor coupling on my Kenmore washer (same age) the previous year. He loves working on these old Kenmores and tells me I can probably expect another five years out of the dryer before something else goes wrong -- he's predicting the timer next time. I may think about getting some sexy new machines to do my laundry. But as long as he's around and has the parts handy, I'll be happy to keep chugging along with ol' faithful drying my laundry!

I would highly recommend Mr Pham as a service provider. I called him on December 24th based on reviews here, and asked him if he could repair clothes dryers. He said he could, and was willing to come out on Christmas! I told him no, he should be with family, and could he come out on the 26th. He said sure and came out at the time that was convenient for me. Diagnosed the problem quickly, and was in and out in about an hour. Very prompt and courteous, I would highly recommend!!

I can't recommend Mr. Pham enough! Absolutely the best repair person that I have every hired. He was able to come within an hour, diagnosed the problem within two minutes and had it repaired in about 20 minutes. I am sooo happy, we thought we might have to buy a new dryer. We will definitely call him again if we need anything else fixed.

Luan was excellent! We called him on a Saturday and he was at our home in less than an hour. At first he thought the condenser needed to be cleaned out, but after beginning the task he discovered the compressor was broken, which is not something he can repair. We would definitely call him again!

My refrigerator stopped working on the day that California had the biggest storm in 15 years. Water dripped off from the freezer. Luckly, I got Pham's number from Angieslist. I called him at 8:30 in the morning. He made an appointment with me at 12:00pm on the same day and arrived in time despite the horrible rain. Within 15 minutes, he found the problem. Half an hour later, my refrigerator started to work like nothing happened. To be honest, I do not really know what happened to my refrigerator that day. But since I got Pham's number, I guess I will be fine without knowing it.

After seeing his Angie's List rating, I called LP Monday morning telling him my washer was leaking soap. He came out Wednesday morning. He was on time, he was kind, professional and cleaned up after himself. He identified the problem (had to do with and fixed it.

He came on time. He decided that the fridge was low on freon and then decided to charge it. I asked him if he would fix the leak. He said no. He charged me a couple of hundred to recharge the system and did not fix the leak. Once he was done the fridge did not seem to get colder and he said he did not know why. It turned out he did not know what he was doing. I later called a company which specialized in fridge repairs and they told me that the repair he did was incorrect and illegal - both the type of valve he installed and recharging a system to fix the leak. In fact I was told there was no original leak and that he put too much freon in the system. I had to pay the second company a couple of hundred dollars to fix what his shoddy and incorrect work. They then found the real problem which was a frozen fan which they defrosted. So, in short, he made an illegal repair which I had to pay someone to undo and he did not fix my problem.

Mr. Pham was able to diagnose the problem right away from our description, and the water leakage on the floor. He replaced the sensor in the freezer, and finished in about 30 minutes. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional! Will definitely hire him again.

Mr Pham responded quickly after my call. He came out the next day and He took the ice maker unit apart but was unable to make the dispenser work. He determined it was the electrical board (I might not stating the correct terminology) and told me the cost to replace that panel would not be cost effective. The price could run $400. I appreciate that he did not encourage me to make repairs. His prices are extremely reasonable. I would definitely call upon him again.

My wife called him and he was here within 30 minutes. It turned out that nothing wrong with the machine. There was a lose hose that gets in to the drainage pipe. He said he will charge me just for the visit. since there was nothing wrong with the machine.. I thought it was more than reasonable. We were very happy with his service..

I called Luan at 8:30 and he showed up before 10, and the job was done before 10:35. Very impressed with the quality of his service, responsiveness and courtesy.

Woke up and emptied the dishwasher, then noticed standing water inside at the bottom. Called Luan based on 163 "A" reviews on Angie's list. It was Sunday, so I expected to only leave a message. He not only answered the phone, but he also came out within an hour or so, and fixed the problem! He gave me a reasonable quote for a pump replacement, he had what he needed on-hand in his truck, and then stuck to the quote for the final bill. He was efficient, professional, and did a great job. The dish washer now runs perfectly. I would definitely call him again for other appliance repair needs.

When I called him he told me it will cost $55 for the visit and then he would give estimate. He did come on time and immediately. He diagnosed the problem and had to replace electrical switches that needed to be replaced. The switch knobs did not match what I had. However I gave him the permission to replace with whatever he had. He quoted me $200 for replacing 3 switches. However he had only 2 switches. He creatively used one of the existing switches, modified it and reassembled it and fixed. He then charged me $185. I was very happy for his cheerfulness, honesty and being upfront. I will use him again...

Even though I was outside of service area Luan said if I could bring my dryer to him he could repair it. This instead of waiting 1 to 2 weeks for the other guys. He was courteous and very helpful in fizzing my dryer. I would say it was the BEST experience I have ever had in getting something fixed. Very knowledgeable, reliable and fast.

In the morning I heard a straining noise from my refrigerator, the motor was going bad. I first called Sears as it was a Kenmore. The soonest they could send someone was a week from today. That of course wouldn't work for me. Came to Angie's List and found LP Appliances Services. I called and Mr Pham was available immediately. His diagnosis rate of $35 I felt was reasonable so had him come out. He was at my house within the hour, he immediately figured out the issue. He quoted me $165 for the repair and asked if I would like to proceed since the unit was ~20 years old. I replied that being out of work that $165 was cheaper than a new unit, so let's do it. I had prepared beforehand (ice chest at the ready) and we emptied the freezer and he very quickly disassembled the parts he needed to get too. I watched him as he did his work and we had a very nice conversation. He was very personable. He got the motor replaced and pointed out a potential issue, example there was some frozen water in that area and he wondered if there was an issue with the ice making unit. I felt that after that long some water was bound to get in there and didn't want to pay for a possible problem (it would be $200 for that part.) He did ask me to just be aware of it so that if the new motor failed in a few weeks then we could probably state that the issue was water getting to the motor and freezing thus causing strain and burning it out. Afterwards Mr Pham took the time to clean up after himself and yes I had some "garage" towels for that use. Maybe he should have some of his own. ;-) So it's been a day and I'm very happy with the service and low cost. I would definitely call him again.

Mr. Pham responded quickly, diagnosed the issues with the dishwasher (which wasn't draining properly), gave us an estimate of time and cost, quickly replaced the broken motor, and ran it through the end of a cycle to demonstrate how it was now draining. He left a card and said to call if there were any more problems. Fast, efficient, effective and reasonably priced.
