It took a long time for busy Rudy to finally come out to re-face our fireplace. But once he came, it was good work & good people. They did come out on time even though it took a long time to make the appointment. But the Batinichs are great people. They even cleaned up my mess after the job was done. I would highly recommend them to others that need stone/mason work.
Description of Work: The price included materials. We took out the old fireplace facade, and they put in a new one. We chose Autumn Horizon stones for our fireplace. They knew exactly how to put them together.

I left a message to have a chimney inspected as a 2nd estimate. Jack Batnitch called back to get the address of the property. Jack went out to look at the chimney. He confirmed that the chimney was damaged. I asked for an estimate for repair costs. I was told his son would take care of that and sent it to me. I never received the estimate. I called several more times and never got a return call.

Our contractor took off the facing of our fireplace and with it came part of the firebox. Rudy came and took a look and gave me an estimate to rough in the firebox (and to even out the edges) and another estimate to reface the fireplace with stone veneer. I hadn't quite decided on how to reface but Rudy gave me some ideas and sent me to the PBM showroom in Mountainview. I picked out stone and Rudy went to the yard to pick it all up and select stones (i didn't want anything too thick) for my hearth and mantel. Rudy, Jack and Jack roughed in the FP and then came back to lay the new stone. The FP looks fantastic and they were so helpful throughout the process with ideas and in providing a finished product exactly in line with my taste.
Description of Work: Rough in firebox, which had been damaged when original facing was removed. Also refaced FP and added hearth and mantel.

You cannot see where the fireplace ended or where the new fill began. It was just an amazing work of art I tell you. He was also the best of three bids. I will probably be hiring him soon to do my backyard as well.
Description of Work: We had a fireplace that was open at two sides. Jack closed in the one side with brick.
