Okay. I expected more. He spent about 5-10 minutes and charge d $135. The inspector told me the same thing that the home inspection report stated. He said that the chimney flue liner is very dirty and unless that is cleaned he cannot say for sure but he thinks I would be okay. He did attest that structurally the chimney is in good condition. His price for cleaning was $325 but I was able to get this done by another company for $129.

The broken chimney was discovered during a property inspection, time had lapsed between the estimate and the work (a year). They honored their estimate and coordinated with SJ building permit. They were able to convince an (unimaginative) inspector to come back to push open the gate they didn't try.

They did a decent job of installing a stone wainscoting on the front of our house. When they wrapped some columns on the front porch, they set their grinder down on our brand new flagstone and made several deep groves in the flagstone. They tried to fix the groves by making a larger crater with a stone chisel. We had the original contractor who installed the flagstone fix the porch and tried to back-charge them for the work. They yelled at my wife while she was holding our baby and told her they would sue us if we didn't pay the full price. They really did not behave like gentlemen and tried to intimidate us. JK is going to take us to court for the amount we are back charging to replace the damaged flagstone. I have never dealt with a less professional contractor and recommend that you stay clear of this company.
