House Doctor Painting

There are a couple of reasons that I choose Doctor House Painting to paint my house. When first time Kelly met me, he provided the detail information about how his team will paint my house. None of other contractors did that and I didn't know what they will do to my house. Another reason is the price, which is very reasonable comparing with other quotes for the same job. Even though some of the quotes are similar to that of Doctor House Painting, they didn't provide the detailed information about what paints may be used, the steps to paint the house, and warranty information. I would select them for my future painting jobs and recommend them to my friends and neighbors since they will take care of any missing places that may be easy to be overlooked.

The crew new what they are doing, but I need to keep an eye to them.

Junior and his crew were outstanding. They were professional, thorough, funny and made our house look amazing. We were impressed with their attention to ensuring the paint colors we selected were accurate by reviewing and confirming and even going back to have remixed because they weren’t satisfied that the color was exactly what we chose. They offered multiple times to come back and touch-up as we are replacing outside light fixtures and door handles. They have a 5 year warranty for any issues. They are licensed, bonded and insured. We will absolutely use Junior and his crew again for our inside painting needs and would recommend him and House Doctor without any reservations.

Kelly and his team did a great job. Our neighbors love it as well. He spent a lot of time helping with color selection as we were undecided.

Kelly and his Team 1 did an overall amazing job. He helped us choose colors, offered useful advice when asked, started and ended on time and honored his exact quote from months before the work was done. Kelly also has a follow-up team to come back to complete anything missed or forgotten the firs time through. Because of the acoustic removal, there was a lot clean-up we did even though Kelly's team spend an entire day cleaning up after their work. We left the week they did their work

Kelly and his men did a beautiful job and worked very quickly! I was picky about the colors and Kelly had to drop by with samples a few times. He was always very courteous and helpful. I would recommend House Doctor.

Kelly's estimate was the lowest out of four and included all the same services. Kelly was very helpful and had access to other workers we needed to repair some termite damage and dry rot. Kelly's team, lead by Daniel were really great. They worked well and did a fine job including clean up. Kelly always answered our calls promptly and helped with every detail of the project. We highly recommend House Doctor Painting (Kelly McKinley).

The price was great, works are pretty responsive and quick. Details were not excellent, but you pay for what you get.

Kelly, Ana and the House Doctor Painting crew did a great job painting the exterior of our Home. Their team was punctual, clean and very detailed. Eric, the foreman, did everything to keep the project on time and professional. We love the way our home looks and would highly recommend House Doctor to everyone.

Kelly, was very professional, provided me with various pamphlets to review in deciding on the exterior paint colors. The painters were able to complete the painting of the exterior home in one day. I am very satisfied, pleased and happy of the colors that I picked out, and the work that was done to the exterior painting of my home. I highly recommend their painting services. House Doctor's just finished painting my house and did an amazing job! We are in the process of selling our house and Kelly and his team made it so nice for the curb appeal. They painted the wrought iron gates, the doors, body & trim of house along with garage (door too) and small shed. Finished everything, including a complete power wash in 1 1/2 days for an amazing price. The crew was clean, respectful, great with the dog. There was a little overspray that came in under the door and they expertly removed it quickly the next morning. After the job was done, Kelly came by himself to make sure we were pleased and everything was OK. I have already referred them to my realtor and would HIGHLY recommend the House Doctors team!

Kelly was very responsive and accommodated our request for a certain type of paint. We ended up not using that paint, and went with his expert recommendation. He provided a quote immediately and had a large crew that could start the next week (between rain storms and work on our landscaping). The paint was a perfect color match to the scheme we used before. The team was efficient, thorough and friendly. They took our old extra paint away for recycling. Our house and fence look beautiful again!

The owner Kelley gave an award winning sales pitch when he came to give me a quote. However, he did not follow through with the job he pitched at all. The prep job was terrible and I had to call them back a couple of times to paint places where they missed. I think Kelley only came one or two times to see how his men were doing.

After talking to other contractors I was very concern that House Dr. will not be able to much the color on the new wood siding to the old wood-siding that was redwood base. They did this work for me a while ago and I am very happy with the result. Kelly guys were able to do a very good color much. Result is very good. Kelly introduce me to Handy man that works with him for many years. He replace for me the siding when needed. I was so happy from the work he did that I also asked them to replace 3 old deck that I had. It all come reasonably priced for very large protect and very good quality. Highly recommending their work. I have uploaded a picture of the house before the painting and after the painting.

It went alright. They trimmed my tree a bit to ensure it did not get damaged. The painters dented the gutters in the front, however Kelly had them replaced to our satisfaction within a reasonable amount of time. He included our deck in the quote which really needed re-staining. He uses quality paints so that is a plus. All in all we were very happy with the paint job. One last comment, not on Kelly's company but the handyman he recommended. I went with the handyman because I trusted Kelly and I still do, however I will never use the handyman again. If you need additional prep on your home, I would NOT recommend Rogelio Bracho. He is nice and knows what he is doing. He does a good job, however he ends up being very expensive. He gives an estimate but then raises the price after he realizes he was too low because the work warranted more than he expected. We were already in the middle of the work on our wall when he did not figure correctly for the siding and a couple of other things. If you decide to use Rogelio, make sure he puts everything in writing first and do not allow for increases.

It turned out really good. Overall, the promptness, their customer service and the quality of their work is why I liked them. The price was exactly as advertised.

I called the painter. I told him I got his name from Angie's List and was thinking about buying the coupon from Angie's List. The provider came out and gave an estimate. He asked me what color I was going with and I told him the same color that was on the house now. As it got closer to the date he was supposed to start the job he asked again what color I was going with and I told him the same color that was on the house now. He told me to call the painter who painted my house the last time and get the name of the paint. I called the painter and he could not give me the color so I took paint chips off my house and took them to the paint store to have them match the color. While at the paint store, the sales person asked me why the painter was not matching the paint for me. At that time I realized that the coupon I was going to purchase from Angie's List included House Doctor Painting supplying the paint. I had not purchased the deal from Angie's List yet. The painter from House Doctor Painting called me after I purchased the deal and asked me if I had purchased it. I said yes. He said he wanted me to pay him directly and to buy the paint. I told him that the deal included him purchasing the paint and he just refused to honor the deal. He said he did not want me to purchase the deal from Angie's List because he did not want to pay Angie's List their portion of the profit. He wanted me to pay him directly. He said we had this conversation. I said we did not because that would be being dishonest. He then said he was canceling the job because it is not worth his time and that I should call Angie's List and get my money back. I told him I was very upset because I had taken off work for him to paint my house. Then he said if I would pick the paint color from his book he would come out and paint my house. I told him he is the professional. He should be matching the paint for me. He was just painting a portion of my house. Part of the house was already painted so that is why color matching was very important. He said I don't do color matching. If I could not pick a color from his book he would not do the job. In other words he does not have the ability to scrape the paint off the house and take it to the paint store to get it matched.

Well. Kelly came out to give us an estimate and arranged for his handyman to fix fascia and other rot. This was all done very quickly as there was a 4-day dry period in January. The painting crew worked amazingly fast, taped everything, and protected plants/bushes adjacent to the house. They finished in 1 2/3 days, which was nice because the process is of course disruptive. They were also nice lads. I did need to tell them before they left to pick up the larger pieces of paint pieces scrapped off. Unfortunately, they painted over an exterior light switch, which I would have preferred not to have been painted, and some small paint splotches on the concrete between house and garage, but those things are rather minor. Overall, we were very satisfied, and the house looks very good. I'm hoping to use them for the interior once I can face clearing out some of all our stuff.

He was so-so. They did the work. They were on time, they were clean. It looked decent. We had previously hired somebody and they dropped paint all over the concrete. The House Doctor was pretty neat and tidy, so he didn’t get paint where he shouldn’t have gotten it; and they were fast. They could have probably used a better-quality paint. They were supposed to stain the deck and a year later it looked like it needed to be stained again, it wasn’t very good. The price is probably why I picked them. I would rather use this other company. I found another painter.

It went well, Kelly was very responsive. He was prepared with all documents supporting his company. He had at least 4 guys at the job site and they were able to complete the job in 3 days. I appreciated Kelly's follow up once the job was completed.

Beautiful work. I so appreciated their recommendation to replace some of the siding which was deteriorating, and also of the fact that they caulked places they saw needed caulking. The painters should be VERY PROUD of their work!

The painted the house and made it look beautiful. Its almost unreal how nice the house looks. We are so pleased. After the house was painted, one of the crew asked me if there were any places that needed touching up. We walked around the house looking for bare spots for touch up and found maybe two spots total. Great Job guys. Thanks.

Very well. Kelly, the owner, came out to look over the project and give us a bid. He was informative and was easy to contact. We wanted the same white as previously used and he got us a "brushout board" to make sure we liked it. We wanted to change the color of the shutters and he gave us brushout boards of our 3 favorite shades of green, which insured we really liked the final result. Kelly also suggested painting the front door (ugly wood stain) the same color as the shutters, for a very reasonable price. We've already had many compliments on it. A lot of prep work was needed and the crew was very diligent about it. The foreman was especially good and easy to have around. The price below includes the Angies list discount.
